This is a new author for me and so was happy to read and see how her words touched me.
It's a lovely sweet and sometimes spicy tale of two people who really were destined to be together, one being a fire fighter and one being a witch. This wasn't an outlandish tale but more believable white witch tale with a good plot line.
I have enjoyed the book - it's a shorter read but I do appreciate it not having lengthy passages of descriptive text that do nothing to the tale.
There are some excellent characters in the book and I would like to hear more of their stories in the future.
I was given a copy of this book to review through voracious readers only.

It's been so long since I dipped my toes into a PNR, and Wildfire did not disappoint!
A kiss should activate desire, not destruction.
Ember is hiding a secret, and not just from Phoenix, but from the world. And she'll do whatever it takes to keep it.
Remember, you are mystic - not cursed. It is a gift.
Ember and Phoenix were such a great couple. Their journey was full of twists and turns and some really sweet moments. I enjoyed every second.

I really liked how the author unfolded the plot little by little and there were quite a few surprises that I didn't see coming! If you're into . . .

This book was ok. To me it seemed choppy. The words did not flow easily. The characters needed more depth. Narrator Carly Kincaid made the book tolerable.

A good romance to hunker down with on a day off I cuddled in the blankies was this gem. This one started out with drama. Running from it is the one who caused it. Ember ends up at a job in a bed and breakfast. Secrets are hiding with life going on. Phoenix lost all he had in that fire. He also seems to fight fires but as we follow these two we are on fire for their story to have air bring it to life to blow even bigger. She finds out though she will have to use her one of secrets to help Mystic Bay or lose it. We will be bound in this to see where it takes us you know but so is someone else watching. Turn those pages for to sink or swim in this.

Ember is running for her life from her past and the man that needs her as much as she needs him. After moving to a small sea side town and working at a bed and breakfast and hiding her real identity. There is one person that comes back into her life that can change everything . Phoenix has lost everything in a fire and when he comes back to Mystic Bay he starts to put the pieces together and realizes that the woman he loves is a witch . Ember in the mean time is finding out the town she loves is cursed . Will Ember find the love she deserves and break the curse or will the man who said that he will find her and will the fire follows.

Ember and Phoenix are one of those couples that you have to really get to know to love . Ember is running for her life so she has trust issues, and she has secrets that she wants to keep hidden. Phoenix is wickedly hot pretty boy who has his own set of trust issues after loosing his mom at an early age. They are a cute couple but they are also awkward towards each other .

This is one of those books that has a lot of twists and turns through out the book and the characters were well written but I wish they were just a little bit more complex . The story is a sweet read that has romance and a curse to fight and an eerie figure lurking in the back ground. If you want a love story with twist and turns and a bit of magic check it out.

This book was so corny and cheesy and romantic. The way Phoenix and Ember just love on each other. From the way they met: eye meeting from across the room, to the way they found each other again: eyes meeting from across the room and him dropping a glass of wine upon remembering her. Ember is a witch who seems to have all the witchy powers under the sun / moon. Phoenix is a hot awkward pretty boy, who lost his mom to young and became a firefighter. Their love story is crazy but totally worth the read.

great read however I felt the confrontation with her father was a bit anticlimactic. received as a complimentary review copy from the author via Voracious Readers Only in return for an honest review.
