I swore off women years ago, sick and tired of watching all those closest to me suffering from relationships gone sour. I’m a loner. I don’t need anyone except my dog. But when I meet my buddy’s wife’s sister Nova, I’m drawn to her in a way I can’t fight. I quickly find myself at the mercy of this charming curvy beauty. She fills a part of me I never knew needed to be whole. I resist her as long as I can, but it’s futile. She’s not supposed to stay, but I’ve warned her more than once that I don’t let what’s mine go.
Nova
I swore I’d never visit Alaska, even after my sister moved there. But after a discovering in late mom’s journal, I’ve had a change of heart. I’m in Three Rivers for answers. But when I first lay eyes on Jensen, a military veteran turned Alaska mountain man, everything changes. He has an iron wall around his heart, and I’m determined to break through his armor if it’s the last thing I do. I didn’t come here to fall in love, but it’s happening anyway. The place I swore to never visit just might become home.
The six of us made a pact. We’ve survived basic together, shared duty stations, and gone to war together. But the needs of the Army have separated us multiple times. That’s why we agreed that when each of us got out, we’d each settle down in the same mountainside town of Three Rivers. It was a favorite place to get away on holiday weekends when the six of us were stationed together in Alaska, and as veterans now we can’t imagine anywhere better. A place filled with fresh mountain air, friendly people who are there when you need them but happy to keep to themselves when you don’t, and unexpected love none of us saw coming.
I Sweet & steamy short story insta-love romance with an older mountain man and younger curvy woman. NO cliffhangers. NO cheating. Guaranteed HEA.
Nova was planning a quick trip visit her sister and new nephew for a week and then returning home. She didn’t count on a hot looking guy to change her mind and have her rethinking her life. This was a nice sweet read. There was a cross over mentioned with Nova’s friend from the book Lover Boy. Nova is smart, independent and not looking for love. Jensen has sworn off love and relationships but the chemistry that crackles between himself and Nova has him rethinking everything he though he knew he wanted in life. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I think this was my favorite story out of the collection so far. I hate it when anyone gets hurt in a relationship, but when it’s a big tough man, it just makes it harder on my heart. To see that man go from shutting off his heart, to having it swell with feelings again, does MY heart good.
The thing that really irks me about this whole collection is the insta love. Does it happen? Sure. To all of these men, and after 2 days? No. I know it’s fiction, but goodness. Can we make it SEEM realistic? 🫣
OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

There may be more waiting in Three Rivers than she every imagined
Jensen is the third book in the Brothers in Arms in Alaska series and it also crosses over a bit with Lover Boy. This fast-paced, charming and very engaging story is about Nova Bennington and Jensen. Nova is Isla's younger sister and has come to Three Rivers, Alaska to visit Isla, Theron and their one years old son Brandon. But she has a secret reason for coming to visit also that no one knows about. Jensen served with Theron in the Army and is one of the group of brothers who made a promise to all relocate to Three Rivers together as they got discharged/retired. It has been a year since he got out but he was working on his cabin for a couple of months before that as he was last stationed in Fort Richardson. Jensen is a very determined single man who is happy to be that way, as long as he has his dog Yogi for company. So when he meets the group, including Nova, he is digging in his heels in a losing battle with himself over the younger woman that he knows deep down he cannot stay away from. Before he can even stop himself he is falling hard for her, just as Yogi has already done within minutes. But Nova is a city girl who loves her modern conveniences, including electricity. She is determined that she will be visiting for a week and then flying back to Seattle to get back to her life. I mean what would she want with a very small town in the middle of Alaska? It turns out that there may just be a whole lot more in Three Rivers than she ever expected.....and it will help to heal some old family wounds also.
I adored this story as it has some drama, a bit of mystery, suspense, romance, family, friends, and a lot of sparking white hot sexual chemistry and smexy good times. Both Nova and Jensen are very much alike in that they are both determined to stick to one thing but that all gets blown away with the light scattering of love pixie dust. Jensen is a great addition to this series and a book I would RECOMMEND if you love hot short stories.
This place has so much charm it will sucker you in
This book is about Nova and Jensen. Nova has made a trip to Three Rivers, Alaska – a place she swore she’d never venture to. There are multiple reasons for her visit, including to see her sister Isla and to meet her nephew Brandon. But the other reason is one she’s keeping secret for now.
Nova meets Jensen along with Isla and Theron’s other friends, at The East Fork, a local diner where Isla works. Jensen has pretty much sworn off women altogether, but sparks do fly when his eyes land on Nova. And Nova is definitely attracted to him too! She’s on a mission to possibly find some lost family, and is eager to get back to her busy life in the city. So neither of them are planning on any kind of fling or romance. However, the more time they spend together, the more they like.
This is another sweet, exciting, steamy, loving and passionate story set in Three Rivers. I love the relationships and interactions between these brothers in arms and the women in their lives. I always look forward to more. I can’t wait to read Talon and Macy’s story next. I give this book four and a half stars.

Jensen is an alpha male, big, brawny, ex military and lives alone in Three Rivers, Alaska. He and his buddies have settled in Three Rivers after their time in the service. Jensen is a loner - doesn’t want any involvement with any woman - women are just trouble! Nova is visiting Alaska to see her sister and new nephew and to investigate a possible connection to her maternal grandmother. Nova is spunky, feisty, curvy, independent woman. She doesn’t plan or want to move to Alaska. When Nova hears that Jensen is a loner and is anti woman, she feels a challenge. This is a story about unexpected encounters and where it can lead. The characters are likable/lovable, interesting, unique, down to earth. They compliment each other. They feel the attraction, the chemistry, the electricity. It is a feel good romance with passion, sizzle, heart, tenderness, caring, and love. What makes a great read is when it is a page-turner, great storyline, great characters and you can’t put it down once you pick it up!

I loved this quick and steamy read. Really enjoying reading the Brothers in Arms in Alaska and I’m loving reading about the town Three Rivers too. I really liked Jensen from the other books and was made up when he got his story. Glad it’s with Nova, Isla sister. She is married to Theron. They kicked off this great series. With each new book, we get another brothers in arms and I feel like this series could go on and on. Which I would love as you get glimpses of the previous characters and where they are in each new book. They add to the story. This book is maybe is my favourite so far and that’s only coz of Jensen as I felt like he fitted the mountain man to the T. Looking forward to reading more from this series and other series this author has out. Perfect for a little pick me up read. Especially when you don’t have much time on your hands but still want your romance reading hit. Happy reading everyone!!
Nova flies to Alaska to spend a week with her sister, husband and new baby. Also on the agenda is a picture she found in their moms journal, with the Three Rivers Historical Society in the background. Her first night in town, she ends up sitting next to Jensen, who has stated he will never get into a relationship of any kind, ever. Over the next two days, the two break down each others walls and intense feelings erupt. The characters are a huge family of friends and one even turns out to be their grandmother. The storyline is so picturesque and detailed with backstories. Surprises and twists keep you on edge, turning the pages to see what is next. Loved how deep the emotions were between the couple, and how easily the girls were accepted. Very well done.

The male lead, Jensen, has sworn off women permanently and has stuck to it for a long time prior to the story commencing. The female lead, Nova, has sworn she’s not moving to Alaska, just visiting her sister and nephew. The immediate attraction they experience springs into a relationship that has them both making new promises.
The story is dual POV, well written, and a lot of fun to read. I really enjoyed the descriptions of the characters and their interactions, as well as the interweaving of secondary characters who are leads in other stories. The story stands alone but is fun read as part of the series.

Jensen has sworn of women, after being hurt he just wants to be alone. Nova never wanted to step foot in Alaska, but after finding her mom's journal, she was driven to uncover a family secret.
When Jensen meets Nova, he struggles with himself with wanting to be with her and staying away. Nova has not told anyone why she was truly in Alaska, but the closer she got to Jensen, she could not see herself being anywhere else. When the secret Nova was searching unfolds, Nova and her sister realize this is more in the town than they realized before.
Amazing fast story that is perfect addition to the series.

First things first; I like the cover of this book! Jensen is the third book in the ‘’brothers in arms in Alaska’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Nova is a city girl visiting her big sister in Alaska. Jensen refuses to give love a chance. When he meets Nova, will he change his mind? The chemistry between Jensen and Nova is clear to see and I liked them together. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
I really liked this story. It was short but enjoyable and entertaining. The characters were easy to relate to and likable. Nova arrived in Alaska with dual purpose. She was visiting her sister and her new nephew but she was also trying to find a woman that was in a picture that her mom had. Jensen had decided a long time ago that he was going to live alone with his dog. His decision was tested when he met Nova. Since Isla had to care for her baby, Jensen offered to show Nova around. The chemistry between them was explosive. There was a tiny bit of drama and angst but it didn’t last long. I loved the way that they claimed each other and I adored their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.
He will never love again. She will never stay in Alaska. What happens if two people with this circumstance fall in love with each other is described in this book. It is sweet and shows how some could not only fall in love with a man but with a nice landscape too. And a secret needs to be solved. I liked that Nova was honest to herself about staying and about the past. All of Jensens plans failed the moment he met Nova. I love Insta - love and the Alaskan landscape, and the small town habits of Three Rivers. It's a nice short book for dreaming away . And the erotic moments are very sweet and hot.
I fell hard and fast for Jensen by Kali Hart. He was the perfect idea of what I picture a sexy mountain man to be. He vowed never to let a relationship tie him down and break his heart like so many other couples did. But when Nova comes to Alaska to visit with her sister he is smitten. Visiting her sister is not Nova' s only reason for coming to Alaska but she has no intentions of living there. Of course when she meets Jensen, leaving Alaska is definitely no longer in her plans. This was book 3 in the Brothers in Arms but can be read by itself, I would definitely recommend reading the entire series for sure! 5 stars.
Patio Time. Awesome story. Jensen has sworn off women and plans for things to stay that way. Nova is in town on a mission, to find the woman in a picture she found. She has no desire to move to Alaska. Jensen and Nova stand their ground until they get to know each other and fall in love. What happens when Jensen finds out that Nova is headed for the airport without saying a word? Will he get to her in time? We shall see.

Nova is visiting Alaska to be with her sister Isla and meet her nephew. This was a short charming read of falling for the one guy Jensen that swears he’ll be living a solitude life with the company of his dog. The attraction is imminent just with a quick glance and Nova hearing his deep baritone voice. Loved how quick each of them fall for one another, with steamy scenes and declarations of forever. A nice addition to this series.

Ms. Kali Hart has brought us to book three in the Brothers in Arms in Alaska series. Insta love for a man that never would love again after his previous love. She is not there to stay she is there for answers from her late mother's diary/journal. These two are such a cute couple. I love how when a man or woman says they will not let anyone in then BAM! they are proven oh so wrong wrong wrong. And that is this instance. So grab this story and see why these two are in this together or not?

Nova is in Alaska visiting her sister when Jenson comes into the diner and meets Nova for the first time. Jenson has sworn off women but Nova knocks his socks off. Nova swears that she will not stay in Alaska but Jenson has changed her mind. Sweet, short, steamy story with two great characters that can't help but fall in love. Like Jenson said, "when you meet the one" and it's true. Love the added bonus of Great Grandma. Fun story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The man who wanted to be single forever has met his match. Nova is a history buff and is in Alaska visiting her sister. She is also looking for someone. But Jensen and his canine caught her attention. For a man who swore off getting into a relationship because of his knowledge and observance of people he says... no. Until Nova. She says undeniably yes and wants to coax him out of his shell. Well there was not much of one when she was around. No cliffhanger

Nova is in town to see her sister and nephew. However, she also has a secret reason too. She meets Jensen her first day there is is taken by him and his dog Yogi. They spend the day together and sparks fly between them Its not long before Jensen changes his mind about not wanting a woman in his life. Will Jensen claim Nova as his own? Will she tell them her secret?
This is an amazing story that will hook you in the first chapter and leave you wanting more with the last one. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
I love that Jensen is so stubborn and that his mindset is that he will be alone and that he does not need a wife and family. I love that Nova is so bent on not staying in Alaska. I love that they change so quickly and that they are so fiercely attracted to one another. I love the secondary characters in this big family, small town. I love the little surprise that Isla gets when Nova comes to town.

Jensen is the third book in Kali Hart’s Brothers in Arms in Alaska series. In this book she introduces readers to Nova and Jensen. Nova came to Alaska to discover the truth about her paternal grandmother. Her quest is to solve the puzzle using the clues in her mother’s journal. Jensen is one of six friends who served together. Honorably discharged they fulfill their vow to settle in Three Rivers, Alaska. Jensen witnesses so much heartache that he vows to remain single. However, Destiny has different plans for him by bringing Nova into his life. She spices it up by creating an atmosphere of love at first sight. Ms. Hart uses dialog, point of view, and descriptive language to move her plot along and revealing our lead characters struggle and triumph over the ghosts of their past. Nice job, Ms. Hart.
I absolutely love Kali Hart and the books she writes. Jensen is another fantastic insta love story that’ll make you swoon! He’s sworn off women, she’s sworn to never set foot in Alaska, let alone move there. But it takes only one look for the heat to sizzle between Nova and Jensen and for the walls to crumble. Hot, steamy, and sexy set in a small Alaskan town.
Nova comes to Alaska to see her sister, meet her brother-in-law and nephew. She also has another reason, to find her grandmother. Never expected to love the town, Jensen and her grandmother being so close. Jensen a confirmed bachelor fell like a big tree when he met Nova. Their story is great. Read it you'll enjoy it too. :)
A fun, quick, entertaining third book in this series Brothers in Arms in Alaska. This is the story of Jensen and Nova and their journey to their happily ever after. The story flows well, the characters are likeable and fit well together. I enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to read more.
It's an exciting love story. Jensen who has sworn to be alone the rest of his life has abandoned his oath for the woman he has fallen in love with. He just can't help it when he found the One.
The solitary man is now basking in the love of his wife.

Nova and Jensen’s story is outstanding! This is the 3rd book of the series and they are getting better and better. Love these 2 together and who doesn’t love a co firmed bachelor turned upside down story? Fantastic storyline and characters! Can’t wait for the next in the series!!
