Excellent resource for when you want to plan a trip to one of the many national parks on the western part of the country. Lots of helpful details and advice on planning trips. I love how the book included details about lodging and restaurants in and outside of the parks. The photos were clear and beautiful. I definitely want to check out a few national parks out west!
Helpful, especially the maps! I would have liked more information on trails (difficulty, what to do with kids, etc.) but definitely helped me plan my trip and get a vision for what I wanted to do.
This guide has a decent amount written for even the lesser visited parks. Very helpful. Will pull back out again when I hit a different part of the country.
Dreaming of experiencing the West again. It’s a Fodor’s Guide. Just enough info to get you thinking about booking that trip. Wish there were more pictures though. Skimmed the text, poured over the maps.
