Some are born to power. Others must find it within themselves.

Ages ago, powerful beings known only as the Elders left their mark on the world, gifting powerful stones to their followers. Through these stones, some have been gifted by birth with great abilities, while others search for them as a way to access that power. Scattered throughout the known lands, wars have been fought for them, and won by them.

As a new danger emerges, those who once defended the stones begin to fall and new heroes must rise. All paths lead toward the Elder Stones, for the one who controls the stones controls power.

Amazing adventure

The young see past the dead ways of their older generation, who still cling to their power base. Lucy, Daniel and Haern each in turn, seek to understand the changes that come over their bodies gained while fighting the Forgers. The augmentations that the enemy uses upon them, somehow amplifies their abilities making them into a powerful fighting force. This is a great read and I cannot wait to read the next in the series

More like a marathon than an enjoyable read

The author put too much detail and many loose ends that were never resolved. Some of the characters were well vetted while Rsxxx, A main character, was written about is such away for me not to understand why others hated him or if he even did some of the things he was accused. The author just didn't make for easy reading. I normally can read +300 page book in 2 days that is not continuous reading, this story was a big struggle.

Thrilling and amazing

These three books take you into a world not too different than ours, but people have powers, born or given that make them fascinating. As you travel with a group of these folks you begin to understand that power and the desire to have it all warps and twists those who want to control it. Terrific story, a great page turner!

Boxset 1-3

This book was okay overall. The MC's had a lot of flaws and it became repetitive in each book. The complaining from the MC's also was annoying and took me longer to read than usual. I have put off starting book 4 because of this annoyance, but will start it soon. Hopefully the author has developed the characters better

An Epic Tale

By getting more involved with the characters in the story line, one begins to know them fully. They become you friends and allies but also your enemies. The depth of the plot leads you to want to experience more!

It has a slow start but once you meet all the characters, it gets quite interesting! Very interesting plot and character development.

Good series good characters with a steady progression
Tends to be a bit long winded in places
But overall good read
