I wanted to read a new to me author so, I chose Tiye Love. I actually have several of her books in my library but, I bought this one on a whim. Let me tell y'all, One Night Pass did not disappoint. This book was so good! Monica has just said yes to a marriage proposal from her boyfriend of two years but, she's not feeling very excited about it. Six months earlier, she caught Darius cheating with his ex-wife. It was only one time but, Monica is finding it hard to get past the infidelity and trusting Darius. She's presented with the opportunity to cater a party for an entire weekend for NFL playboy Michael Carson so, she decides to utilize this time to get back to the person she use to be and to find some clarity on her relationship with Darius. Michael is known for throwing these hedonistic style parties so, anything goes during that weekend. When Monica and Michael meet, there's an instant attraction between them but Monica fights it because, well, she's engaged. After some heavy duty thinking and some serious flirting, Monica decides if Darius gets to cheat with his ex-wife she's allowed a one night pass with Michael with no guilt. That one night pass is just what Monica needed to clear her head. It was sensual, erotic, mind boggling, soul freeing, spirit snatching, and spirit lifting. It helped her move past the anger and hurt she was holding on to and realize that, although Darius made a huge mistake, she loved him and still wanted to marry him. I loved that, when it was all said and done, Darius knew Monica had been with Michael but decided to just act like it didn't happen. She tried to be honest with him about that weekend but, Darius was not trying to hear it. He knew his actions were the catalyst to whatever she did so, he let it be. That just goes to show you the double standard men have when it comes to cheating. In the end, Monica and Darius were able to get past his one indiscretion and move forward to a well deserved HEA. One Night Pass was such a good book. I definitely recommend you add it to your library ASAP!

Alright Tiye! Got me over here all deep thinking and ish! 😂 What to do when your man cheats? Hmmmm…. That is the million dollar question that Moni asked herself over and over. Although she was a fierce and sexual being, she had kinda lost herself after having her kids; and felt she "needed" a man. She struggled as her head knew that she couldn't trust him, but her heart loved him; and wanted to be his wife. Getting that opportunity from Foxy, was her blessing in disguise. She could use this weekend to earn some cash, and try to free herself from the anger and negativity she felt. Whew! Meeting Michael was 🔥 honey! Those sparks were flying like crazy, and I knew the old Moni would reappear. With Michael she felt alive again, and even the talks they had gave her great insight on what her potential decision should be. But, gurl that get back was sexy! Damn! Upon her return Darius knew immediately that she was different, and that something had happened. But, he wouldn't dare speak on it, as he knew his actions were the catalyst to whatever she did! They both had to suck it up, and move on. I loved when you said, "you have to look at the sum of a man and not his parts." I felt that! That phrase could be used when thinking of any person, as we sometimes write people off for a bad decision; when they are an overall good person. BUT, I duuno about this one girl! She better than me! 😂 I've always felt the best revenge is leaving that man, and living your best life without him! Let him see you thrive and be loved on by someone else, knowing that he "gave" you away with his actions! Another great read ma'am! Keep em' coming! 👍👍👍

Freeing and exhilarating
This story is so freeing and exhilarating. Monica experiences a broken heart and spirit when Darius cheated. She even loses a part of herself th that she has always had a good grip on. So when opportunity rises for her on a professional level, it also opens up a new sense of letting completely go and getting back to the person she knows she is. With the help of Michael, Monica let go of all the things that she had bundle up and becomes freeing again, in more ways than one. That one night pass... one weekend pass... is everything: sensual, erotic, mind boggling, soul freeing, and spirit lifter. It helped her to see clear again. Darius knew that he couldn't handle hearing what he suspected so he refused to talk about it and they moves forward. However, A lesson is learned that if you can't take it, don't dish it out.

HOT!!!!!!
This book had my attention from beginning to end! I couldn't put it down! I enjoyed Monica and Michael, their understanding and need for one another. I wanted to kick Darius's behind! I hope there is more to come for Monica & Darius's storyline and hope to hear more from Michael too! Way to go Tiye Love! Looking forward to many more!

A very interesting read
This was definitely different and I totally loved reading this story. It gripped me right from the start and I can appreciate the decision of the main character in the book. It was definitely a great read

One Night was not enough....
Oh my goodness. I though I remembered Michael from somewhere before, in another story. Then it hit me. End games... Although this one was about Darius and Monica, having Michael in the mix changed the storyline. I was so happy Monica came to her senses after the weekend. And yes, Darius wasn't crazy, and he knew it was his actions that caused the equal reaction. This was another enjoyable read....

That get back was everything! I think every woman that has been cheated on and stayed just lived through Monica. She did what many probably want to do. Darius most definitely knows but doesn't have room to say anything so he is taking with as much grace has he can. Great job at telling this story.

Two wrongs, but oh so right!
Tiye most certainly does not shy away from taboo subject matters. And that's actually what I love most about her work! This latest edition was no exception, but in the end all parties were satisfied with their decisions, as reckless as they may or may not have been! Everyone took responsibility for their actions, and accountability is the best we can hope for given the circumstances. But what a ride!

Letting the past go
I actually read this out of order, after the Trilogy. It sets up for Michael's next stage in life.
This was a short story, but it gave what it was supposed to give! Monica had some unsuccessful relationships that left her with 2 children and a strong indifference towards men. That all changed when she met Darius, he was good with her son and was the love of her life. At least she thought he was until he broke her trust. She was spiraling and needed to figure out a way to move forward.
Insert the one night pass with Michael. He was wild to say the least. The connection they had was palpable and he used it to his advantage. Monica felt powerful and free with Michael even though he was clearly in control. Their interaction helped rebuild her confidence and she was able to move forward with a clear head. It wasn't an ideal move, but Darrius and Monica moved forward together.

I’d actually rate this story 3.5. “Moni love, two wrongs don’t make a right!” “One Night Pass (The Endgame Trilogy- Book 1) was a good read. However, the analyst in me observed either a miracle, or more apropo an improbability. “He opened the door shirtless and barefoot, wearing black cargo shorts.”…. Unable to argue with the truth that I enjoyed his brusque treatment, I stopped resisting. I heard the condom wrapper…” Where did the condom mysteriously come from? Thereafter, just because Monica justified her resentment of Darius’ infidelities with his former wife by creating a further distance between she & Darius by her own affair with Michael won’t make her feel vindicated. That seemingly “one night pass” will torment Monica & her marriage relationship with Darius. …Also, an affair won’t resolve insecurities Monica’s nor Darius’. Adversely, you just created more insecurities!

Monica's character was not a likeable one. I can understand her being angry with her fiance for cheating with his ex, but the revenge part was questionable in my opinion. Darius turned out to really be sorry for his actions and pledged to do better. Michael Carson has a lot of maturing to do but he was affected by their one night pass as well making him realize that he needed more in his personal life.

What I would do with my pass!😜
If I was ever given the opportunity...the things I would do with my One Night Pass. We as women have learned to accept when our men cheat or it is just something they do but we are so deserving of more. But when the table is turned they cannot and wouldn't be able to handle it. Michael and Monica both were able to release a lot of pent up stress by being together and Darius realized what he stood to lose. This was one hot and freaky story and I loved every page of it.

Michael was one of a kind. But with that beening said I know he has some issues and o can't wait to read endgame to find out how this relationship with develop.
I was really happy for Monica. Being able to find herself allowed her to be a better version of her self and I understood Daruis not wanting to know it out loud. He already knew so that words didn't need to be said.

Why
This was such a true life story. Why are some men so weak when it comes to the pressure of other women with bad intentions, buy have a heart attack thinking of the love of their life succumbing to the same pressure. I wish we knew the details of what happened with his ex and why they felt the need to continue a relationship, especially after they fell into bed together.

Best book ever
If you like your stories taught with no chaser, this is it. Monica (heroine) is your typical mom needing a break and boy does Michael (hero) giver her one! Smooth read all the way through. So good I hated it ended. Worth the cost, you won't regret reading and following this author.

One Night Wouldn't be Enough
Michael Carson could definitely be my one pass. I would probably want more. He is addicting. Two wrongs never make a right. I was hoping Monica wouldn't give in on one hand, and on the other, I was telling her to go for it. I loved this book, and I am looking forward to reading this series.

Perfect
This story was incredible. It speaks to and explores the emotional rollercoaster that occurs when trust is lost, along with an unconventional road back. I loved it and I learned a lot. Thanks goes to the author for writing this story. It allowed me to see myself in the pages. Great job.

Too Hot For
Wow, this was a really good prequel to Endgame. Trust is everything in a relationship. Lust for someone else can definitely create a problem. Kudos to Tiye Love on another good story that explains in detail what the characters are feeling and going through.

Get back done right!
I loved this story and TL did a great job of bringing Monica’s conflict to life and of course the get back was delicious and yet it made sense that she moved forward with Darius without regret. Sometimes get back is needed for reconciliation 🤷🏽♀️🤣
