In an effort to escape a second and embarrassing year of grade twelve high school, Bobby and Adam set off on a road trip from Canada to Florida. With a gas credit-card stolen from Adam's dad, an old VW Beetle, and a little cash in their pocket, they venture off. But problems immediately await them and they are constantly presented with life-threatening situations, police encounters, prison time, and even murder. Their destination plans change. Will they make it back home? A Tom Sawyer/Huck Finn type adventure, filled with life experiences and fun anecdotes.
