Hook York, Tenillo’s veterinarian and the man who hasn’t ever been able to resist coming to the rescue of any animal or person who needs him, is living a good life. He’s got a house he loves, a pet he adores, his best friend and her daughter who keep him humble and feed him home-cooked meals whenever he appears at their house, and his motorcycle club brothers who are more like family than anything he’s ever had before. He doesn’t realize what he’s missing until he finds the woman who doesn’t want to be rescued. It will take all he’s got to win her over, and when he does, he’ll protect her at any cost.

Paula Clewley appeared in Tenillo seven years ago - a woman with only one friend in the world and a family she could never go back to. After years of making her way alone in the world, ready to disappear again without a trace at any time, she was content with the life she had made for herself. A new friend brought excitement to her days and a chance at love she’ll have to try hard to resist.

While both of them hide big parts of themselves from each other, Hook and Paula navigate the turbulent waters of a new relationship. Over time, they realize there’s no sense in trying to live your life alone when love is right there within your grasp. Hook’s actions put Paula in danger, but after years of protecting herself, she’s ready to do whatever it takes to get back to the new life she’s made and the man she loves.

Paula knows that Hook will be waiting for her with open arms and the smile she loves, and Hook knows he’ll never let her go once she comes back home.

Dayyyyum! Paula is a fuckin BadAss!!
My favorite type of fuckin FMC. She’s sarcastic, independent, strong willed, super fucking smart, quick on her feet, and is willing to get her hands dirty when the situation calls for a little wet work. Fuck me. I wanna be her when I grow up🥺!

This book was a fuckin blast to read.
Hook is such a great guy. And his animals are fuckin dope dude. Terrifying, and as a Texan myself, I love that it pretty much embodies Texas through and through, but fucking Dope.
Their relationship is so fucking passionate and sweet. Hook is damn near enthralled from the second he pulls her into his chest that first time, and she’s just along for the hot ride.
And damn. What a hot ride she fucking has too. Jesus. The sex was definitely steamy and sexy between these two. Hook gives her his all and Paula throws it right back at him. So hot.

I am loving these series.
Definitely, for sure, read Boss then Sins Enticement before reading this. This book fills in the gaps from some events that happened in those previous books and it’s so much more satisfying having the full picture.

We sort of started before Sin’s book started and then met up at the end so I think we’re all the way caught up now.
I’m super excited to start reading the next book. Which I think is Executioner’s and I’m dying to get the scoop on him and Skye.

So good!

Yep yep. What she☝️said.
This was just as good the second time. And honestly I didn’t need to to read the buddy series to enjoy it, so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Safe, both celibate. Having not read the first one I was a bit confused at the beginning. After a bit I was able to get into it. I liked both mc's. I had a few questions at the end of the story of things that happened that I was confused about but that might just be me. Overall I enjoyed it

Hook York has rebuilt his life as Tenillo's veterinarian. As a former inmate, he is part of the Time Served MC and has found himself watching over Paula Clewley after she got in a bit of a scuffle withthe Time Served MC President's Ol Lady. Taking her under his watch, he finds he enjoys spending time with the stunning woman. She is a surprise in all things and Hook has plans to keep her. That being said, Paula has secrets that Hook wants to know all about, will Paula trust Hook enough to trust him?

I liked this one, some laugh out loud moments. Loved Tanya, the Tiger. You got to know a ew more of the characters of this MC and I am definitely curious to see where their stories lead.

I loved Hook.
I was surprised at the story but it was amazing. I was hooked from the first page.
Paula was kickass and a knock out. She was one of the best characters that I've read in a long time. Can't wait to read the next book.

This time we are back with the Time Served guys front and center, with the Ares as the supporting characters. I was excited to read this one, knew it was with Hook and Paula. What little we have seen of Paula, I knew she was going to be funny, but things turned out nothing like I thought they might. Paula had some deep secrets that made the things that happened while she was connected to the Time Served guys nothing. In fact she was able to tame the guys and show them quite a few things. I also loved that once Hook realized what was going on with Paula, he gave her space to tell him on her own timetable.

The ending to this one had me laughing, loved that Paula has that part of her life back and that she can share that with the new people in her life.

Hook Gets An Old Lady

This is the second book in a continuing series by Cee Bowerman. Though the relationship aspect of the book is standalone, the characters are introduced in the previous book and there is a slow-moving story arc that runs between this series and Ares Infidels MC by Ciara St James, which runs parallel to this series and has overlapping characters and storylines.

This story is about Hook, who is good friends with Boss and lives next door to him and his Old Lady, Jenn. Hook is a veterinarian and has all sorts of weird and wonderful pets which include an undersized tiger that was rescued from a circus after they declawed and defanged her as a baby. When they first started talking about the tiger I thought it was a euphemism for a really big striped domestic cat, but no, it’s an actual tiger.

Hook got his name from his boxing days. He was a highly ranked amateur until he got sent away for manslaughter. He was another of Pop’s rescue projects, like the rest of the MC members, and he took him on when he got out of prison after nearly 20 years and had nowhere else to go.

Paula is friends with Jenn, who she met in a salon. Paula, showing her character early on, got into an altercation with a mouthy young woman and dropped her phone in her foot bath. Jenn high-fived her and they’ve been friends ever since. Paula runs a craft stall where she sells all the jewellery she makes, so they see each other a lot when Jenn has her food truck at the market too. When Paula is at Jenn’s house a man tries to break in and attacks Paula, only Paula attacks back and between her and Jenn’s cast iron pan he goes down long enough to be tied up. They pretty much insist that Boss and the guys take him out back and ‘deal with him’. when this happens Hook takes on the task of keeping an eye on Paula to make sure she doesn’t talk. This of course leads to all sorts of fun and games.

I really really enjoyed this book. I loved Paula. She’s feisty, confident and funny. There were so many layers to her I thought we’d never reach the bottom, in fact, we probably didn’t. She fits right in with the Time Served MC as she is just as ruthless, pragmatic and dangerous as they are.

Hook is such a softy when it comes to animals. He’s constantly rescuing them and nursing them back to health before rehoming them. His tiger, Tonya has an entire habitat in his house and an outside enclosure too, not to mention she’s treated like a house cat the rest of the time. It shouldn’t be forgotten though that he’s capable of killing in defence of those unable to look after themselves, or those he cares about.

This story has lots of layers too and each layer was as good as the next. In this book, there was humour, danger, mystery and awesome hot bedroom scenes. I love the companionship displayed between the people in and surrounding the MC as they try to do the right thing by any means necessary and looking out for each other as they do it. I can’t wait for the next book in this series because I love these characters.

Wow! Great book!

Book 2 in the Time Served MC is another winner from Cee Bowerman. Hook and Paula are an awesome couple that you will root for from their crazy first meeting to the end of the book and beyond. I really want to know where Paula gets her lingerie...

If you are looking for a book/series that touches all you emotions and makes you laugh out loud, you need to pick up this series and the connected Ares Infidels MC series by Ciara St James.

Intertwined series w MCs that are doing it their way

I do NOT consider this to be a STAND-ALONE read. That is because there are two series, written by two authors, about two different MCs, that unite together to seamlessly tell the readers about Tenillo, Texas. Therefore, for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers, the first story (Boss from the Time Served MC) needs to be read first, followed by the second (Sin’s Enticement from the Aria’s Infidels MC). That is because there are multiple reoccurring characters, concurrent timelines and overarching themes.

Cee and Ciara are focused on telling us about the people that are determined to clean up and save their city from coercion, drugs, blackmail, murder and whatever other nefarious crimes are being committed in the shadows. So these need to be read in the recommended order weaving back and forth between the two series.

I discovered by accident Boss the first in the series about Time Served MC by Cee Bowerman, which lead me to Sin’s Enticement, the first in the series for Ares Infidels MC before returning back to the original for book 2. These combine to build a dynamic and ever changing story universe with each new reveal and I for one am looking forward to the next in the series.

** If you have not read the previous stories in the series, the following may contain spoilers. There are numerous topics that are potential triggers for sensitive readers, so please review the examples listed below **

⛔️ Contains references to, or scenes detailing, subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some, including: adult language; derogatory terms; mental health challenges; steamy adult intimate scenes with dominance, submission, restraints, spanking for pleasure, etc.; violence stereotypical of the genre such as kidnapping, abduction, murder, death, torture, assault, fighting, betrayal, coercion, blackmail, threats, subterfuge, money laundering, gun running, cheating, prostitution, human trafficking, mafia / cartels, drug use, drug manufacturing, drug distribution, as well as the mental, physical and sexual abuse of females and/or children, etc.

** Caution: Contains scenes with reference to, or detailed graphic violence against females and/or children that fit into the storyline, but may be a trigger for some **

There are very few grammatical issues primarily comprised of incorrect word tense, missed words and extra inserted words. I am mentioning these for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors interrupt the flow.

A definite must read book & series!

I swear that's my tag line for all of this authors books! (Just as it should be! Lol!) Seriously though, it doesn't matter how high I set my expectations for the next release, Cee Bowerman always surpasses them, and then some. Her stories are as unique as her book covers, which initially drew me to take a chance on the new-to-me author. Well, she was that for the first book, then afterwards becoming one of my most favorite authors. I'm always watching out for the next new release, and can't wait to read them, no matter what series it's from.
As always, this story had awesome characters, hilarious banter, crazy antics, drama, angst, suspense, and intriguing twists and turns that will keep you glued to the story until the very end. There was heartbreak, tragic pasts, uncertain futures, but it also had camaraderie, loyalty, and love between this couple, as well as the unconventional family that just keeps growing. It's not a story that you're going to want to miss!
If you haven't already read Boss, the first book in this series, I highly suggest that you do prior to reading this book. It's not absolutely necessary, but it will give you a better understanding of the characters, how everyone met, more depth about the club and it's members, as well as the secondary plot that seems to be continuing through each book. It's an awesome story that you'll love. This series involves characters from the Ares Infidels MC by Ciara St James, which I would recommend as well.
I would also highly recommend reading the other series' by this author. They're not connected to this one (at least they haven't been yet. Lol!), but they're all absolutely amazing stories that you won't want to miss out on! The other series, Texas Knights MC, Texas Kings MC, Connor Brothers Construction, and Rojo, Tx., are individual series with a lot of character crossover involved due to friends, family, business associates, and more. If you can't find a reading order list, then I would suggest reading them in the order above. (But check out the authors website or her Amazon author page and read by the release dates if you'd prefer.) I promise that you won't be disappointed with any of the stories!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

Hot and hilarious with an MC edge
Hook: Time Served MC Book 2 (Tenillo Guardians TSMC) by Cee Bowerman is a spectacularly fun and flirty read and has many of the elements I love about romance. A sweet alpha, strong woman, romance, chemistry and comedy made this book a 5 star read. Paula is an absolute hoot, so much fun and so very funny! She brings the charming flirt out in Hook and makes their interactions as interesting as they are steamy. Reason one for not wanting to put this book down!
The plot/sub plots are reason 2 for pouting when I had to take a break from reading. There’s a plethora of action happening to Paula and Hook and even more behind the scenes. Not to mention the mystery that is Paula herself. As their relationship evolves, it’s clear these two were made for each other, finding one another at just the right time.
Overall, this MC romance is edgy with hints of MC style justice and rounded out with some laugh out loud levity. All of the characters in this book are wonderful and the author leaves her readers with hints of more to come. Hook got his little one forever as Paula’s past is put to rights for them to have their HEA right along with Hook’s very large, very special pet. This book is really one not to be missed.
I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.

Looking for a hot older alpha man and smart, strong woman; look no further

This is the 3rd book in the Tenillo Guardians series (but the 2nd book about the Time Served MC). While it is a standalone, I truly believe that reading Boss (book 1 by Cee Bowerman) and Sin’s Enticement (Book 2 about the Ares Infidels MC by Ciara St. James) will enhance your enjoyment of this book. This book is about Hook, the Vice-President of the Time Served MC and a veterinarian. He is tasked with watching Paula to make sure she won’t reveal secrets about the Time Served MC but he doesn’t need to worry as Paula has a big secret herself and doesn’t need any attention focused on herself.

Cee writes stories of wonderfully strong women who meet and fall for strong, protective alpha males and this one is no exception. I really would love to be part of this girl tribe. This series is a bit darker than her other series but I loved it. There are some fantastic animals and many extremely funny scenes that had me laughing out loud.

It was great to learn more about some more of the Time Served MC members and to catch up with the Ares Infidels MC members as well as the 2 clubs work together to clean up the not so sleepy, small town of Tenillo, TX. I can’t wait for all the rest of the stories and if I could; I’d live in Tenillo, TX.

The series will alternate between the Time Served MC (by Cee Bowerman) and the Ares Infidels MC (written by Ciara St James). The next book will be the 2nd Ares Infidels MC book (Executioner’s Enthrallment).

Holy fuck. I fucking loved this.

Paula is one of the best FMCs ever, totally hilarious, badass ex-mafia princess. I already loved her just from the little I got in Jenn’s book, but now we get her background and so much more. I usually hate the big secret/false identity trope in romance, it RARELY ever works out for me, so I’m shocked to say that I loved it in this. It all seemed justified and reasonable to me.

Hook- love him too. He’s a veterinarian, so of course he’s great, but the way he was with his tiger (yes a real tiger 🐯) Tonya just melted my heart. 🥹💕💕💕 And I usually am against completely keeping big cats as pets, so this is saying a lot.

The plot was good. My only complaint is how the timeline overlaps with the other books (both with this series and with Ares Infidels series) so we get a lot of repetition. This will probably get more tiresome as it goes on.

OMG I'm So Hooked on the TSMC!

Where to start with this book... Cee Bowerman I thought Boss & Jenn's story was crazy with all the animals & action, but I was so wrong because you definitely outdid yourself writing Hook & Paula's story!

First of all Tonya & Nana omg my heart was pounding so hard as I was reading that part of this book & had to read it again to make sure what I read really happened lol.

Hook is such a softy when it comes to rescuing & caring for all the animals he comes in contact with in his vet business. And I just knew he would fall fast & hard for Paula too. And boy does he have his hands full with Paula lol She is truly a bada$$ all on her own after reading this book. Paula had so many secrets that was revealed that blew me away & I was already predicting she would have all the men & women learning how to do all that she knows lol, & the ending had me laughing cause I was right.

I am so hooked on this series & can't wait to continue to the next book to see who falls next & how more trouble will both mcs get into too.

Excellent read

I love this series so far. The humor is fantastic. When in the beginning with the tiger and the newspaper happened I was cracking up says this book is going to be good and it was. Both books are excellent. These two are great together and I can't wait for the next book. Lots of humor, just the right amount of sex without even wanting to flip past, lots of drama to. Anything Cee writes is good. What I don't get is how these 2 authors Cee and Ciara can get together to make a great series all except for Ciara's series Archangel's warriors just sucks. It's like rinse repeat, dry, copy and paste. All of that series. But Ares Infidels is great. It's like a different person is writing for her. Baffles me.
Also I can't wait for Ciara's new book with the Ares Infidels.

4 Stars: Kindle Unlimited Read

As you already know by know now, "The Time Served MC" series by Gee Bowerman is written in tandem with the "Ares Infidel MC" series
by Ciara St. James.

Having said that I think I'm enjoying "The Time Served MC" series just a little bit better. But I like it best when ALL the boys come together. I'm heading out to read the next in this adventurous world.

In the meantime, let me leave you the thought of knowing that I did infact enjoy this installment even though I read it out of order!

TSMC & AIMC World Reading Order:
(1) Tenillo Guardians- Time Served MC #01: Boss
(2) Tenillo Guardians- Ares Infidels MC #01: Sin's Enticement
(3) Tenillo Guardians- Time Served MC #02: Hook
(4) Tenillo Guardians - Ares Infidels MC #2: Executioner's Enthrallment

I’m Hooked on this series.

I like Paula/Paola the tough girl from Brooklyn. Hook/Dwight really does it for me; I cannot resist a smart and funny man. The fact that Hook is an animal lover very much seals the deal for me- he’s my book boyfriend. I’m crushing hard. He’s got a TIGER. The circumstances under which he came to have the Tiger are very sad. Hook & Jenn from book 1 very much can hang anytime with their love of animals and adorable menageries. Paula too clearly loves and accepts the animals, and now that she’s settled for sure can have some of her own.
I’m curious who Frankie will end up with. As well as Valentine. Can’t wait to see how Chef convinces Drea to give love another chance. I think it’s sweet how Pops is matching everyone up. He’s our crotchety Cupid.

I don’t know if it’s the authors writing style or the more mature characters but I liked this book better than Sin’s book. Paul is a hoot and I love her for Hook.

I like their dialogue and the no nonsense they way they go about life and acknowledging how they feel about each other. Yes it’s insta love and I hate that but like Boss I didn’t feel like it was. I guess that’s the more mature characters- they’ve lived life and know what they want no pussy footing around!

Interesting one of my pet peeves in when a story retells itself just from a different POV. There is time overlap here from when Hook met Paula to them “now”. But it was done well with minimal repetition from the original story.

Hook and Paula

Alright, so Tonya and Nana basically gave me a heart attack - my heart was pounding like a jackhammer and I had to pause the whole thing just to process, lol. Hook's basically a total pushover when it comes to animals, so I just knew he'd fall hook, line, and sinker for Paula. And Paula, oh girl, she's like a force of nature or something - she's got secrets for days and I was totally calling it when I said she'd have everyone doing her bidding in no time, lol. The ending had me cracking up because, yep, I was right on the money. Definitely recommend reading this series alternately with Ciara St James AIMC series to keep up with the storyline of everyone, as well as just recommending reading them bc they're both 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ all the way!

Hook and Paula

Wow if I wasn't already older than Paula now, then I would say that I want to have her courage and brains when I grow up, but she to me is just awesome. And what an amazing soft and compassionate heart that Hook has not only for Paula but his animals as well, and very cool that he has a tiger living in his home that he rescued. I hate what Paula endured in her young years from being in a mafia family, but her ex abusing her was just plain wrong and I hate what her and her brothers and son have to sneak around to visit each other, but it looks like things may be changing since her ex and her ex father in law died. Yay for her son. Happy reading.

I just read Hook (Time Served MC Book 2 - Tenillo Guardians TSMC) and it was awesome.

Hook is the veterinarian, and his compassion for animals, as well as his "big cat" and the respect with which he treats his animal patients, melts my heart. He has a wicked sense of humour and is fiercely devoted to those close to him.

When we first met Paula, I burst out laughing because I could picture her irritated and enraged, and I couldn't help but laugh at the irony... she wanted to relax but was so stressed that she snapped. Jenn and Paula bonded over the crazy and ignorant woman they met.

Hook fought his desires when tasked with "minding" Paula... but eventually caved and was hooked.

After reading about Hook and Paula in Boss Book 1 I wanted to learn more. I'm happy that they now have their own story. Cee Bowerman has ways been a favourite MC author of mine and she didn't disappoint.

The plot was interesting, fascinating and humorous. Paula had so much sass was one of my favourite characters. She was a strong woman who knew how to look after herself. Her past helped shape her.

The characters drew me in and I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next.

Cee Bowerman and Ciara St James' cross-over series has been fascinating, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. It's fun to see the characters from both series entwined and interact.

I'm excited to read more.

Focused

This book, like the 1st was an easy read. I laughed a LOT!
Even though this book is called "Hook" I didn't really get a sense of who he was as a person. The whole book mostly focused on Paula, which I understand but it was a bummer. I like Hook from book 1 but all I got to know in this book was how he has sex and takes care of a tiger.
I am DEFINITELY finishing the series because this author has an awesome way of showing what you happened off page in the previous book and then continuing the story. Not many authors can pull off having new main characters in each new book of a series. A lot just rehash the same story from another POV and I HATE that. Do good job!!

glad I didn’t give up after Boss

I have read all the authors other series but had not really been interested in the one. I read the Time Served Nomads and loved their books so I thought I would give the originals a try. Book 1, Boss, was my least favorite book by this author. Chopped up storyline and way too many characters coming and going. I understand she was trying to set up the series but she typically does a way better job.
Thankfully I gave Hook a read and I was not disappointed. Great characters and a clear story and time line. Interesting character additions without getting lost in the weeds. I will keep reading Time Served Nomads

Hook and Paula...awesome

When reading this, it feels like you are part of the story...feeling everything. Hook has a crazy life as a vet helping animals, living with exotic creatures, an MC filled by friends and then he meets Paula. She has a mysterious background, medical background, is a crafty entrepreneur, and a feisty alpha woman with a very kind heart. The two of them are smitten. Loved this story, this series. It’s funny, it’s heartwarming, it’s sexy and it’s got hot sexy bikers. What’s not to love? Enjoy!

Talk about dynamite in a small package. Hook feels as though he's been hit when he meets and spends time with Paula, Jenn's new friend in Tenillo. Paula has a lot of secrets; it's ironic and funny that Hook keeps Paula by his side to ensure that she doesn't talk about an incident, while Paula has been keeping much bigger and more lethal secrets for a longer time. There's a lot to unpack in this series, much less this book. However, there's also a lot of humor. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Soooo, I love Cee Bowerman!
But I don't know what happened with these characters. They're ex-cons-bikers/cops/hacker ect and they again can't connect some dots? Or the woman who grew up in the Mafia? That makes them look like they're the dead bulbs in the lamp...Id rather have them solve this stuff fast and believable and read in the next books something different or just the Lovestory, then them looking like a bunch of 😶.
I liked the rest of the story and the characters and would have really enjoyed this series, wouldn't it be for the above mentioned reasons.

WOW, just Wow !!

I cancelled all plans for this afternoon when I couldn't stop the surprised guffaw and choked laughter shortly into this book. I am so happy that I did.
This fabulous read has an amazing plotline that deserves the same attention Ms Bowerman took for the planning and execution of this brilliant read !
I'm not into recounting the storyline (altho I use others reviews who do this when deciding on a future read !) This has an excellent plot, went at a cracking pace, was enlightening, uplifting and extremely funny.Recommended most sincerely xx

I'm hooked on a feeling🎶

There is so much I would love to say about Hook and Paula but I don't want to spoil the story. He is just purrrrfect and Paula had me in stitches with her wonderful quick wit. Oh! Paula's sarcasm is off the rails and I feel is her super power. She learns to trust and open up to not only a relationship but to friends as well. Hook is just all alpha male and I just adore his intelligence and patience. Great fun! Sexy times galore lol! I was sorry to see it end but the HEA was awesome.

Another great read

Enjoyed Hook and Paula's story. Their dynamic worked so well and I enjoyed how strong she was in the face of violence and attack. Loved seeing more of the other guys and especially glad there wasn't alot of time spent with the girls which sometimes in other books tends to come across as juvenile. These women are great. Hook is amazing and I love how he didn't immediately jump to all kinds of wrong conclusions as well as he listened to her and the men of his family.

Another excellent addition for Time Served crew

Come on! How does MS Bowerman have that many ways to describe sex?!? 😂. I've found that one of the best things in this series is the average age of the characters is mid forties. So many books are couples starting out or mainly twenties or early thirties. The fact they're seasoned (like myself) is so refreshing. Love this author's style an sarcasm! I definitely recommend reading in order too. Onto the next one! Binge worthy series.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would simply because of Tonya. When we were first introduced to her I lost it. She is my fav animal ever. Ok now that that little freak out is over...lol. I loved Paula right from the start. She is a kick ass female, strong and hilarious. I've been trying to figure out her past and I nailed it. Hook has been a steady and strong character. He sounds absolutely yummy. He's also sweet and kind. Loved this. Moving on to Executioner (following the reading list).
