The time has come for Bambi and King to say I do, but what happens when a blast from the past send things in a different direction. Is their bond strong enough to overcome another messy situation or is this the end. Take one last ride with Bambi, King and the family as they move through obstacles that can be life changing.
This book was filled with unnecessary drama. I was extremely annoyed with the author for breaking Bambi and King up again. They’d already gone through more than enough in the first two books. Bambi almost died in book one and they had already broken up several times so, this whole break-up to make-up to break-up again is getting old and irritating. Bambi was such a loveable character but, by book three, I couldn’t stand her azz. She was insecure for no reason and just kept looking for King to do something wrong. But, the man was doing everything right. King reformed himself and became the man she wanted but, that just wasn’t enough. Bambi was very aware of what DIDN’T happen in that situation with Hanna and King and she still chose to call off their wedding. Then, had the nerve to take the man’s money and ID and leave him stranded in Miami. When I tell y’all I wanted to fight that heffa so bad. She irked my last damn nerve. The fact that Bambi and King were apart most of the book pissed me off. Note to the author, no one wants to read a book where the hero and heroine are at odds with each other 85% of the book. At least I don’t. And, speaking of nerves, lets talk about Tristen’s audacious azz. How you gon’ cheat and don’t give AF if you get caught but, when Shayla is generous enough to take your triflin' azz back, you turn into a jealous and insecure female with trust issues?!!! Then, had the audacity to damn near stalk the girl every time she left the house. Sir, you're the one who cheated!!! I was not a fan of Tristen’s behavior. It was unhealthy and borderline abusive. I’m still trying to understand why Shayla stays with him. Ain't that much love in the world. Book three was pure comedy with a healthy dose of drama and frustration thrown in. While I laughed my azz of, I was equally annoyed with these characters. There was just so much toxicity in their relationships but, you’ll still root for both couples to get their shyt together and come out on the other side. Let me head on over to Saedy and Spade’s house for Thanksgiving dinner. I shol hope don’t nobody else break up.
This is another series that I’m sad to see come to an end. I really enjoyed the ride and the growth that I experienced between the couples throughout out the series. Bambi really surprised me with her fear to commit especially so late in the series however, I’m glad that she got her act together. We watched King and Tristen grow from boys to men. Shayla wasn’t to be played with and handy with a taser. I have no words for Bone and his plastic 🍆’s. Check and Peach need to be on Wild ‘N Out. Bianca was a heaux but a funny one. This series kept me thoroughly entertained.
See I knew Ladii Nesha was going to serve up that good ole bull ish in this 3rd book!! Why did we have to take 10 steps forward in Bambi and Kings relationship only to take 100 steps backwards when they finally got their ish together. Bambi stressed me all the way out. A blind man could see the positive changes King made throughout their relationship. I understand Jace hurt Bambi but King more than proved himself worthy. I was ready to go upside Bambi’s head!
I loved Milo and Peach! She let his mama have it during dinner hunny! I wonder if Law was jealous of his son and Peach 🤔 that had to be weird😖
Check still checking fools…..that is when he ain’t being thrown off boats 🤣🤣. Check and Kimmy were made for each other for sure. Kimmy teaching Trinity to get paid after every kiss was hilarious!
Tristian and his heaux ways had him acting like a whole HBO insecure episode in these streets. The dirt he did and stress he put Shayla through had him paranoid af when she turned them tables on his tail.
Bianca is easily the most free spirited character in this book. Sis was living her best life and jumping every “Bone” in sight 😩🤣🤧
Jace was a glutton for punishment and I didn’t feel not even a tiny bit sorry for him.
Despite the antics that were delivered in overflow during this series one thing you can’t deny and that’s the fact that this family rides hard for each other and they don’t sugar coat nothing. These characters are so memorable and will stick with you long after you finish this series!
King and Bambi went through a lot to finally find their happy place….some of the other family members finally found their happy places in life as well. I really enjoyed the Carter Clan….
Listen, I ain't gone hold yall cuz they had me messed up the majority of this book. All this back and forth was hella uncalled for. B really tap danced on every last nerve I had. This man out here breaking the bank for YOU, constantly lifting YOU up, and she had the nerve to run. Chile, if I wasn't cracking up every five seconds I would've quit reading, but Ms. Nesha managed to keep me entertained. I understand having doubts, but B took the bs to the next level and I was sick of her. She should've took her as$ to a counselor instead of dragging poor King through the mud. He was tired and hurt and I swear I was tired for him. Like why are you pushing this fine as# man away that changed his life for you. I was so over it. B was really on some childish ish and if she would have took 5 secs and told him how she was really feeling they could've avoided all this stress. King was beyond patient with B, he really was sweet with her even when she didn't deserve it.
Shayla is my girl, my rider but I really don't understand what she saw in Tristen. I had to wonder if one of them damn bullets hit his head because he was so whiny, insecure, and annoying. He went from being an alpha to being a lame. I mean I was glad they kept their family together, but something needed to give. Bianca....girl I don't even know what to say about her. She was her consistently wild self and that ending left me speechless, because how disgusting. The adult Carter's were their usual crazy selves and their banter saved the book for me. Check and Peach had more punchlines than these wack as$ new rappers. They had me cracking up so hard. Poor Milo didn't know how to handle it and really tried to take up for his woman. The adults really had some growth. I like how Spade quietly watched over King. He supported him and gave him game when needed. I was extremely happy when King and B finally got their HEA. It was overdue. This read will definitely wear you out, but you will laugh every step of the way. I'm going to miss the Carters.
This was a great ending to the Carters. My boy King is that man. I don't like how you had my boy Tree looking. He wasn't insecure like that. Bambi worked my nerves something serious. Good end.
I couldn’t have asked for a better ending …. Man they finally got it together ( all of them) , I was so worried the rollercoaster this book had me on …. I kept holding my breath.
KING MF CARTER JUST HIM , the whole 360 that this man DID !! Just whewww!! I was like b if you don’t marry him already and let that MAN love y’all!!!
I’m sad it’s ending . One thing about Ladii Nesha she going to take you on a journey and a time you will be had!!
This was great even though the drama was sooo annoying. Bambi was so annoying in this one and I can’t even say I get why. Had that man chasing her through the bushes. I was happy when King kinda of stood his ground because she done forgot who he was! But through all the drama, this was still one for the books. King Carter, the man that you are! That dream Bambi had almost me throw the kindle, I could not believe it. I should’ve known it was a dream when Hanna was in the room, King can’t stand her. 😂 The trip was too funny! I’m glad everyone in this book seemed to find happiness within one another or individually. Wow I never thought I’d see this day when I read the first book. I love my little dysfunctional family.
We Want More!!! I really expected an epilogue but I just saw there are more stories even if it's not about Bambi & King, we will catch glimpse of them.
Lorddddd these fools want to take me out!! Ughh this was a whole lot of drama for no reason. The back-and-forth was driving me crazy. Every time I feel like Bambi and King were getting themselves together they would take 10 steps forward just to be pushed back 10 more steps tomorrow.
I understand Bambi was hurt from her previous relationship with Jace, and when a woman is constantly cheated on it definitely does something to her confidence and her spirit. So I understand that and she also didn’t have the best track record with King either so as much as I wanted to shake her, I also understood her struggles throughout this book. I wish she would have got some therapy.
King has grown so much I’m like a proud mama watching him curve these hoes! He has literally reformed himself and became the man that Bambi wanted, and sometimes when you have what you’ve always wanted you don’t know how to except it. Bambi knew that King didn’t cheat on her with Hanna and she still chose to run and hide when she could’ve just had a grown-up conversation with her man. I love the fact that King knew his worth and told Bambi he was not chasing her ass, even though he still kind of did a little bit 😆
Tristen ass was driving me crazy this whole book with all the insecurities. How you cheat on somebody, and when they forgive you, you become the Insecure one?! I mean the way Shayla was stroking this man’s ego the entire book. I just don’t have it in me, especially not stroking the ego of a nigga that cheated on ME!!
Of course this book was hilarious so here are some of my favorites moments: 1. Check and Kimmy, just them period 😂 2. Milo singing to Peach, Check singing Pimp juice to Kimmy. 3. Bianca’s crazy ass!! My girl cut Bone 🍆 in half! 🤣🤣 4. King’s reckless mouth
I hate to see this group go. I’m going to miss these fools 😂 🤣
Ok so I’m noticing pattern where my girl is having the men but these women through it and then when the trauma responses and PTSD kick in they want to have had all the sins washed away cause they have spent half as much time doing right as they being doing wrong. Do I love it, no. Does it make for an emotionally gripping read, heck yeah. I honestly didn’t know if I was team Bam or team King cause lord have mercy. But let me tell you one thing Ms Nesha I’m need a content warning for what you did near the end of this here book. I almost had a heart attack sis! Now I got PTSD 😫 This was an emotional roller coaster and the little (big) piece of me that loves mess and emotional devastation had a time!
This book had a little bit of everything in it..The family dynamic was not typical but it clearly worked for them. Bambi was her worse enemy in that book but I love how King did not response the typical way.. Tree and Tristan are very funny and Tristan was just paranoid because he knew what he did to Tree.. Peach was not playing with Milo and his dusty family.. Check and Spade will forever be my favorite characters in the book.. I am not disappointed at all. Keep bring the heat in your book..
Well if you haven’t read anything by Ms. Williams you are missing her writing is sexy, imaginative, timely, and freaking hilarious. I literally was hot and bothered one minute sad and horrified the next and then laughing with tears streaming down my face a minute later. This Michigan native has penned some amazing characters and I am definitely going to continue reading her work!
I love this series and the Finale didn't disappoint. King is something else. Only Bambi's can handle him. Shayla is my girl. She is for sure a loyal rider. Tree finally got it right because he can dish it out but can't take it when Shayla gives it back to him. Check is still so funny. He has me on the floor. I'm just glad that King and Bambi's finally got it together and hopefully lived happily ever after. Loved it!!😁👍🏿
I love the crazy Carter family. They are definitely a different type of family. Tristen and Shayla crazy as they wannabe. Bambi was doing way to much, but I’m glad she realized that King was the real deal. This book had me cracking up, it was hilarious. Why they clown that ladies baby?
Loved it! Ladii Nesha has become my favorite author! When reading her books I get all the emotions that I crave in a book. Drama, love, comedy and a whole lot of crazy!😂 I won’t spoil it but just know throughout King & Bambi’s trials and tribulations, there was still a happy ending. Love love loved it! Highly recommend! 5 ⭐️ read!
This entire series was so good I read all 3 books and could not put them down. The level of craziness was top notch and had me cracking up. The family was dysfunctional but it all worked out and all the characters met their match. This series was dope!!!!
Although I enjoyed this book, it had more errors than the last two books. I’m happy to see these characters growth even tho they gave me the blues! I liked that the characters changed for the better but not their personality!! Kudos to the author for that. I love these characters and hopefully read more from them. I can’t get enough of Peach lol I wouldn’t mind a story from her
Great conclusion for my crazy messy Detroit baes! Wasn’t sure if Part 3 would hold me thinking we knew what we needed for these folks BUT this was a great reminder that HEA requires work! Absolutely loved revisiting this gang of misfits and while I wanted to wring Bambi and King’s necks I was glad to see them finally get it together. (Was also glad to see Tree didn’t need to learn his lesson a third time! LOL)
Welp.....I'm at the end of the series and I'm truly going to miss the Carter's. They had me laughing so hard people started to think I was crazy 🤣🤣🤣. I'm glad everything worked out in the end for King and Bambi. Tristen and Shayla were a match for sure with their crazy selves. Even Peach got her happy ending.
Oh my God this book (the entire series actually) was great! It’s never a dull moment with King’s crew. You absolutely root for King and Bambi! I highly recommend this series!
This was one funny a^* series but sooo good. King, my good guy King…loved him ❤️ Tree was a fool snd shayla don’t play! All the characters had me rollin laughing. You have got to read this if you haven’t already 😩😂
Whew, I can’t lie - Bambi worked my nerves. Once King fell for her he stayed true no matter how hard it was but she almost let her insecurities rip them apart. Shayla and that taser 😂😂😂 now I gotta go get me one 😂😂 this family had me cracking up during this series. I enjoyed them
This book was filled with highs and lows for my Bambi but I’m happy with the ending. The book was hilarious i laughed out loud so much people thought I was losing it!
4/5 — I’m glad my folks finally got it right and giving me a HEA! Bambi was seriously pissing me off throughout this book, but she came to her senses. My boy King really changed for his family and loved that. — Tristen guilt was eating him up, he knew Shayla wasn’t to be played with. That’s my girl fr. Big Peach put it on her lil yeah yeah, lol.
I love the Carters! I keep laughing at the whole family. I can't get enough of them. I fell in love with King all over again. Bambi knows how to bring out the best and worst out of him, but he loves his family dearly. Keep the Carters coming.
