I really enjoyed this book! I've been interested in Russia for many years. I enjoyed looking through this book and considering how the lives of folks in monotowns might be considerably different and at the same time very similar to my own.
I enjoyed the structure of the book as it went town by town, providing some history and context before the pictures.

Хорошее исследование послевоенной архитектуры моногородов; честные и беспристрастные описания с краткой историей каждого города; красивые и местами ироничные иллюстрации.
