Hay buenas lecturas en este libro para aprender la cultura y la lengua español. Me gusta que haya lecturas no solamente sobre México y España, pero sobre los otros paises hispanohablantes. Hay errores de "typo."

This is an broad selection of articles for people who already know at least basic Spanish, my own pre-requisite was Petrow's 'Spanish Demystified'.
If you are an advanced learner the book will probably feel quite short, but for learners who are are just starting out with 'readers' it is just about right.

So if you know some Spanish and want to increase your vocabulary and learn a few things about Spanish speaking countries then this book is well worth getting.

The vast majority of Spanish speaking people live in Latin America, this book reflects this fact as most of the articles are about this region rather than continental Spain.

The articles follow the typical themes: travel, food, culture, history, music, etc.
As you can guess the vocabulary is very broad.
After each section there's a few comprehension questions, nothing extensive.

A particular thing I like is that the verbs are listed both in the way they appear in the text and in their plain form: decoró/decorar.

I have nothing negative to say about the book, it gave me exactly what I was looking for: broad vocabulary and some cultural information.

"Read and Think Spanish" by McGraw Hill is a reading treat. Being filled with rich vocabulary and definition clues for each page makes the reading easy.

Truthfully, I was still overwhelmed by new material and not much thinking in Spanish was inspired. Hopefully soon. Thank You McGraw Hill.

A decir verdad, todavía estaba abrumado por el nuevo material y no mucho pensamiento en español se inspiró. Espero que pronto. Gracias McGraw Hill. ~ a google translate
