An excellent resource for the serious language learner (I took off 0.5 points as the course can get a bit slow at times). I self-studied Spanish and reached CEFR B1/B2 level a decade ago, thanks in part to this course (as well as other courses such as Madrigal, Assimil and Hugo). After a decade of not practicing any Spanish, I decided to brush up my Spanish recently using this course and was pleasantly surprised at how effectively it helped me recover my lost knowledge of the language. Unfortunately, these books are out-of-print (as more language learners are gravitating towards apps and podcasts) but one should be able to get a copy of the course from the public library.
