Professional ski racer, Lacey, gets to go home to Apple Pie Creek. Calvin Sutter is the forestry ranger. They come together to design a downhill racing course for the ski resort, but Cal is worried about the ecosystem. I loved how these two people interacted with each other. I especially loved the ending when the residents all got together. A lovely read with loveable characters. A just kisses story. 5☆

I do so hope that, one day, this author will discontinue forcing her protagonists to roll his/her eyes. After the fiftieth roll it gets really annoying. Ms Dees is in dire need of a competent editor/proofreader. Perhaps hers were injured while walking and rolling their eyes? Oh, and then there's the old "I know, right?" And rather than a more creative response, her protagonists say only "Same" to the thoughts and ideas shared with them. Give your readers a break and quit with the Expressions Of The Year (or the last ten years) used by far too many authors. I now roll my eyes in frustration.

A great read

Wow! Another excellent book in this series. Cal and Lacey make quite the team when they get together to help design a new ski resort! A sweet love story I couldn't put down.

Likeable characters and a satisfying story. The author is doing a good job of making each set of protagonists distinct from the others. These are not cookie cutter characters or plots.
