Tristan
Charlie is everything I want and didn’t realize I need. It’s clear to me now, the woman I met at the club is only one layer of the woman I’m falling for.

I’m a fixer by nature, but for the first time, I wouldn't fix a thing. I want her just the way she is. Broken pieces and all. Who needs the fairy tale, when we can have the reality.

Charlie
Tristan is everything I want, yet don't deserve. He’s loving, protective, smart, an amazing father, and he’s onto me. That's why I need to speed this story up and tell him everything.

So we can flip to the end of the book, and he and his daughter can move on to the next story. One where they get a happily-ever-after. Because there’s no story I’m a part of that ends in any way but tragedy.*

I could not put this book down!! I read every chance I got. I read even when I wasn't suppose to read. I read at work, I read in the middle of dinner which is totally against the rules. I was hooked! The characters were so likable and interesting. They were easy to relate to and I felt strongly for what each one of them had went through in their past.

I've loved Tristan since he was just a little boy in the Fighting series, so I knew this book would grab a hold of me. It most certainly did! I just didn't expect to fall in love with Charlie! I didn't quite understand why Tristian and Bella didn't end up together. Now, it's clear to me that Nikki knew what she was doing! I knew at the very beginning that Tristian and Charlie were the perfect match for one another.

Tristan hasn't had the best luck with women. First, he fell in love with his best friend and she didn't return his feelings. The first girl he has a connection with after that is a drug addict and leaves him alone to raise a daughter. At times he feels unlovable and all he wants is that happy dream life with a family a white picket fence. I got to know a side of Tristian that really stoled my heart. I love how protective he was of his daughter, how quick he was to forgive and how he loved fiercely.
Charlie is running from her past. She has been through turmoil but still is strong. She instantly has a connection with Tristian and his little girl but she thinks they are better off without her. Charlie has became one of my favorite heroines.

I'm sad to say that the character's stories from the fighting series have about been told. The last one that is coming soon is Mason's story. Oh how I can't wait to see the play boy Mason fall hard! I'm so ready!

Funny how love has a way of showing up when it’s the last thing you’re looking for. Tristan has had two strikes with women. The first was his life-long friend, Bella, and the second was the mother of his daughter, who walked out of the hospital and out of their lives immediately after giving birth to Lexi. When Tristan meets Charlie, he’s immediately drawn to her, but he can see that something haunts her. It doesn’t stop him from wanting to get to know Charlie better, and Lexi takes to Charlie immediately.

After reading the first book in this series, I jumped at the chance to read an early copy of this one. I loved Tapping Out, but this book was even better. Tristan and Charlie are realistic, complex, flawed and endearing and watching their story unfold was a terrific reading experience. Then add in the wonderful secondary characters and a gregarious, precocious five-year-old who breaks your heart with her innate kindness, and I couldn’t put this one down. It was an effortless read with a little heat, a little humor and a huge heap of heart – the perfect romance read to escape into. I enjoyed this one so much I purchased my own copy and plan to read it again. Hopefully it won’t make me tear up the next time, because, that wedding scene? Oh my heart! This is definitely a 1-Clicker.

Fall in love with Tristan, Lexi and Charlie

I am still reeling in the swoonfulness goodness that is Tristan and the belle of the ball, Ms Lexi. Yes, Nikki is making me make up words to try and do justice on this ovary explosion that is Clinched! Charlie really pulled at my heartstrings and had me already bawling at only 25% in. This book!! I read it in one sitting and had to reread Tristan and Charlie all over again because I couldn't get into anything. If I didn't know any better, I'd swear I was a hormonal pregnant woman turning page after page. All I know is that I need Mason's book soon! I love that man and I don't care he's fictional! Lol!

Right from page one, you can't help fall in love with Tristan and even more with 5 year old Lexi. His fatherly protective side and her blunt innocence will get to you in the best way. Plus two men living with a 5 year old little girl, you know you'll have you're big LOL moments. Charlie was an amazing heroine for Tristan. You could feel her strength and sadness. Both together learn to find themselves again a day at a time and slowly overcome their own darkness clouds from the past. Their story will take you to unexpected twists that'll keep you turning page after page.

Clinched is the second book in the Fighting Love series but can be read as a standalone. Amazingly written in dual POV with its own HEA and epic epilogue. Definitely left me craving for Mason's book, Takedown! You know he'll be one dirty talker... (sigh). Both book one and two are must reads, but totally recommend to go back where it all started with Fighting for a Second Chance. Always look forward to what Nikki Ash will come up with next!

I’m still fairly new to Nikki’s book but with each book I read I fall in love with her words even more. I love a good single dad romance and this one ticked all the right boxes.

Tristan is SWOONY. He’s every girls dream… He’s such a beautiful man and deserves everything happy in this world. Unfortunately, he’s been pretty unlucky in love and has had his heart broken a few times leading him jaded. After life took an unexpected turn, he was lost, left with loads of uncertainties, pushing him to drowning his sorrows in alcohol. One a very drunken night, he met a woman and got her pregnant and he became a father and ended up becoming a single father to a beautiful baby girl and having a daughter to look after, meant that she became priority number one and made him realise he needed to sort himself out. His dream was to find someone to fall in love with but he put that on the back burner… But when they say love comes when you least expect it… Well he was not expecting to meet Charlie and he certainly wasn’t expecting to fall in love with her.

After being emotionally, mentally and physically abused in her past, Charlie has a lot of demons she has to battle. She’s a broken and avoids any close relationships she could have with anyone after being burnt multiple times in the past and after going through so much loss, pain and trauma in her past. It’s just easier for her to keep herself closed off when it comes to her heart.
But when Tristan comes into her life, everything starts to change, there is a glimmer of light in her world of darkness and for the first time in a very long time she is hopefully for a happier future. It seems that Tristan is the right person to bring down these walls that she has up.

I was not expecting this book to be so emotional. It had me all in my feels. I laughed, I cried and I swooned like crazy throughout the book. I was obsessed and couldn’t stop listening to it! I couldn’t help but fall in love Tristan and Charlie love story. Charlie went through so much, my heart broke for her. She was so relatable for me and I was drawn to her.. Tristan was perfect for her and watching their relationship blossom and them get closer and seeing them get their happy ending like they deserved made my heart happy.

I loved this book so much! Highly recommend giving it a read! You won’t be disappointed!!

Charlie and Tristan….ahhh!!! That’s the best review for this book. Just “Ahhhh!!”!!!! This is my first book by this author, but I promise it won’t be my last.

They both come from troubled relationship histories. Charlie doesn’t want anyone to get close to her. Tristan is tired of not having someone close to him. However, no one could pass up on Tristan’s swoonworthiness and Charlie succumbed, but that left her to deal with her history as well. Together they were a perfect partnership.

The story was well-paced and every page I read made me want to keep reading so much so that I could hardly put the book down once I started it. (If I didn’t kids demanding my attention, I think it would have been a one-shot read!) I can’t wait to go back and read the other books in this series.

I love this book. I cannot say it enough. All the feels, and the mystery, the love. This book has it all. It the one stop shop for the perfect romance. The characters are full of flaws, and are real, and you can feel that in this book, you feel like you are part of the book. Not just reading it. The pacing was great, at no time did I feel like I might want to chuck the book out the window. Told in dual pov.

Absolutely enjoyed the hell out of this. It picked up after 20% for me; I just didn’t want to stop reading, all of characters were so amazing! Tristian has my heart. He is such an amazing father and a swoon-worthy man. The story had a perfect balance of being: charming, emotional and steamy. These characters deserve the happiest of happy endings. Racing to read mr.playboy’s book, Mason is honestly so hot and hilarious!

Handle with Care

Nikki Ash Fighting for Love bk 02 Clinched

Charlotte "Charlie" Pratt Reynolds... You poor broken soul. 💔🤗

She stole my heart with her love for her daughter, Georgia, and the pain and suffering they both experienced at the hands of her husband, Justin. It makes sense that Alexandria "Lexi" and her single, sensitive, loving father, Tristan Scott are the ones to bring her back from the pain of abuse and loss and help her love again.

As heartbreaking as this is, the redemption is all the more sweet. The gaslighting and abuse (physical, sexual, mental, and emotional) really did a number on Charlie, as is to be expected. I love that Tristan catches on to the cues and adjusts accordingly, noting her invisible 'handle with care' sign. It takes a special man to do that. When you add an adorable five-year-old, the pair become irresistible!

I love the little twists, like Mila being a MILF that Mason wants yet doesn't want. Some resolve here, others will carry over to the next book, which looks like a good one. (Yes, these are standalone, but some plotlines do span more than one book. I personally prefer to go in order.)

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are Gideon Frost and Marina Barrett. I enjoyed listening to both. Duet narration would've been awesome, but I'm truly not complaining.

What an amazing instalment to this series. I loved Tristan in book one so I was mega happy he was getting his own story.

Charlie was such a relatable character, I really liked her from the moment we met her. And I admired her strength throughout.

Can't wait for Mila and Mason!

This is the first book I've read from Nikki.... and I loved it.

After going on social media asking for recommendations this book was mentioned. I didnt even read the blurb and dived straight in.

Damn I loved this book so much!!!!

Tristan ♡ that man thought *swoons*. He's been unlucky in love. He fell for two women he thought he loved them but because of the things that happened it made him sad and not wanting to try at love again.

Then he meets a certain someone.

Charlie ♡ god my heart bloody broke for her so damn much. What she went through I was like nobody deserves that. Then to lose the person you love so much. To blame yourself for their death... I couldnt help but feel upset for her.

All the way through this book I was laughing(because of Mason haha), crying, swooning or putting my hand on my heart going OMG or Awwww.

Then near to the end.... BAM PLOT TWIST. I did not see that coming AT ALL. I was like OMG, WTF & HOLY SHIT. It wasnt in a bad way though lol.

Then it comes to the epilogue and you guessed it I cried lol. It was just so damn sweet I couldnt help it.

They got their Happily Ever After ♡♡

Just like with all of Nikki Ash's other books, I didn't want to put it down. I had to force myself to put it down, so I wouldn't read it so fast. But then I would get upset because I didn't want to put it down, I wanted to read and know what happens. Then I got mad when I got to the end, because IT WAS OVER! It couldn't be over, I needed more. Then I saw the light. With the little piece at the end that says, there is another book. MASON'S book!! Hallelujah!!!

I first fell in love with Nikki's work with her Fighting Series. Those couples, those stories lines, AMAZING! Then came this spinoff series, Fighting Love, about the kids from the original series. And let me just tell you, I thought I loved their parents' stories and drama, I honestly think these kids, now grown, will hold a bigger and better place in my heart. Having watched them actually grow and move onto their own lives and struggle to find and keep their own love, is amazing.

These stories hold my heart captive and don't let go, because I still think of them long after I'm done with the book. I love stories and characters that grip me like these do. It is an amazing experience.

Tristan deserves the world. He has had his heart ripped apart by his best friend, who he thought he would be with to a raise a family. But when life took a major turn, he was left with a bunch of uncertainties so he lost himself in liquor. Which led to the night that would change his life forever. That night led to him becoming a father. A single father at that. His daughter quickly moves up to being the most important person in his life. He hopes one day he can find someone to have the white picket fence dream with. Little did he know that his dream would come in the form of a broken woman. A broken woman who would keep most of herself and her past from him. Because what an ugly past it is.

Charlie has lived in darkness for almost a year. Until the day a dark blue eyed little girl introduces herself. Then her life is once again changed forever. Having been emotionally and physically abused, she is cautious to get close to a man. Having had her world ripped apart, it's hard for her to face the little girl who can't help but be drawn to her. But she finds the strength to do both and she soon realizes they will be the light in her darkness. They will save her life. They will lead her to being whole again.

This story....I honestly don't even know what to say. I can say it was awesome, but that wouldn't explain it enough.

Charlie's life and heart break, broke my heart. And then the part where....OH MY LANTA!! LIKE WHAT THE HECK?!?! WHO DOES THAT?!?! LORD HAVE MERCY! Yea, I'm sure you can tell how I felt about THAT!

I was so glad Tristan FINALLY got everything he deserved. Happiness. Love. A family. If anyone deserved it, it was definitely him. His selfless love he hands out, help he doesn't mind giving. He is loyal to a fault and earned it all. All his heartbreak, all his pain, led to this. So worth it!

Now to sit and patiently wait for Mason's wreck of a story. That boy I have a feeling is gonna have a mess on his hands. Oh my word, I can't even imagine, but I can't wait to read it. I love Mason, his silliness, and his loyalty to the ones he loves. We will finally get to hear about his myserious past. Bring it on Nikki Ash. I know you won't disappoint!!

Tristan’s story is one that we have been waiting for if you have read about him in book one of the
Fighting Love series (this is book two) or if you saw him in the Fighting series book (parent’s stories). He gives with his heart and is a fixer when it comes to his friend/family, but when he meets Charlie he wants her just the way she is. You will laugh when Tristian assumes something when it comes to Charlie and she goes right along with it. Chuckle worthy and then some. I will say that each book can be read as a standalone if you choose to do this and not read the other stories. I have not read the full Fighting series and enjoyed the books and then the spin-off to these kids.
Tristan grabs you from when he was little, then grabs you again in Bella’s book. You hurt for him and may have been a little torn on how that story ended up, but when it comes up in his story and you see where they are now you will agree this was the best TAP OUT for the right reasons. The way that Tristan is with his daughter shows you how much of a man he is. He is protective and caring. Mason being there for him as not only his roommate/friend/uncle is pretty cool. I don’t think I will ever see fishing the same way anymore after reading this book. The question is will Mason be able to catch a fish or will it be too hard to hook the bait? Cannot wait! Lexi is too cute and has daddy and Mason wrapped around her fingers. She tugs at your heart with not only her artist side, but with Charlie and the friendship she has with Bella/Marco’s daughter. Keep growing this family cause that just means more stories for us! Haha
Charlie, Wow is all I can say to avoid spoiling her story. Heartbreaking and beautiful all rolled into one. It’s almost like Lexi is your guardian angel and that is why fate intervened when it did. Oh, that twist at the end had me wanting to TAP OUT, but that was the best KNOCK OUT win EVER in this story!! Your heart breaks many times when it comes to Charlie’s side and then Tristan’s side when it comes to Gina. Both Charlie and Tristan take some uncertain turns and twists, but the way they find themselves brings Sunshine to their world instead of the clouds that were there. Lexi steals this show and I love how she got her name and how it resurfaces again near the end. That epilogue though just left us fighting for more now so until then I guess our sign shall read, “Gone Fishin’!”

Yep... Things are getting even more busy that they were before and my time to read as been less and less but for this lady I always manage to have more time, even if it means that I can't sleep...
Nikki Ash has been on my mind lately. Her last book made me addicted and since that day I always wanted more. And now the day has come to grab a new masterpiece and Dayum... I couldn't start it fast enough.
Her writting is super detailed, simple and intense, full of emotions and some hot stuff. She writes about everyday people and that is a bonus.
Clinched is her latest release and it's the second book from the Fighting Love series. And I recommend this series to everyone.
This book focus on the lifes of Tristan and Charlie.
Tristan let's just say that cupid was not his friend... Not only did he fall in love with his best friend to be turn down but also he had a woman in his life that loved drugs more than him and their daughter. He always dreamed of having a family, loved ones around him and to achieve true happiness but life hadn't been easy for him.
Charlie is running... Running from her past, running from all that's bad but life can become a living nightmare. When she meets Tristan and his little angel she instantly felt a connection with them but she can't truly give herself. She's to damaged to love someone...
I'm so freaking happy.. This book... This series... I'm speechless...
The plot is amazing, super engaging and powerful, full of struggles, battles, aceptance...
The interaction between the characters is beautiful and sweet, raw and moody.
Once I started to read this book I couldn't put it down. I was engaged into this plot in a way that each turn of the page was painfully slow. I was reading and wanting more and more each time.
How can you accept happiness if you don't think you're worth it? How can you give yourself to someone when you don't trust another living soul?
This book was my undoing and I want more... So much more.
Oh Nikki... You want to kill me right?? How can I read a new book with this one stuck in my mind? How?? Can't wait to know more about Mila and Mason. Will we have to wait to long??

⭐️ 4.5 "Bring Back the Colors" Stars ⭐️
Omg! Clinched was such an amazing read with the perfect balance between adorable, steamy and emotional. The book being a single dad romance had me absolutely giddy because there’s just something about this trope that clicks with me. Nikki Ash gave Tristan the most exquisite romance that put butterflies in the stomach.

I was truly sad for the guy after Tapping Out and the way Bella treated their friendship. I couldn’t wait to meet the woman who would steal Tristan’s heart. There is another little Miss in his life though; his daughter! Let me tell you how precious Lexi is. I was grinning at her cuteness and obsession with anything art all read long. It’s not easy to raise a little girl being a single dad, but he has the support of his best friend Mason. Their friendship is seriously one of the aspect I loved the most about this novel. These men have such a strong bond and they’re more like brothers. The way they care for Lexi is truly magnificent and sweet! Some moments are so hilarious too! Tristan is such a great dad and the father-daughter duo has a lovely dynamic that put hearts in my eyes!

"𝙃𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙝𝙞𝙢𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙩, 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩. 𝙃𝙚’𝙨 𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙢𝙮 𝙫𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙣𝙤 𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙤𝙪𝙩."

Charlie is a mysterious heroine at first with something haunting her with the sadness she exudes. Tristan is determined to peel her layers and discover what she hides under this hurt and distance she tries to put between them. The pace of their romance is slow, but its progression so delightful. Charlie is reticent to open up to Tristan, but with his natural charm and good guy vibe she can only fall for him. Not only she connects with him , but also with Lexi. It’s so cute to see the little girl so easily forging a friendship with Charlie through their love for arts.

Overall, this book checked all the box of a good romance! I was invested in this couple’s journey. The supporting characters were as always a huge plus in this novel. Mix with all the romantic stuff, the mystery surrounding Charlie’s past made this book unputdownable! I’m now thrilled about Mason’s book, Takedown. I have a hunch that it’s going to be my favorite in the Fighting Love Series.

I was so excited to read about Tristan since I enjoyed his parents story when he was younger. His parents did an awesome job with him!! He was a single dad and his life revolves around his young 5 year old daughter and his best friend Mason and the gym that he owned. He didn’t have a revolving door of women. He always put everyone else’s needs before his. Then he met Charlie.

When Tristan met the gorgeous brunette at the club he didn’t know exactly how to react towards her. He was attracted to her but didn’t know much about her. But then Mason gave him that push and he pursued her. Charlie was full of sadness. She was running from a husband that abused her physically and mentally; he was the worse. She also was grieving the loss of her 3 year old little girl.

When Lexi, Tristan’s daughter, sees Charlie for the first time at the coffee shop she’s quickly attached to her and that gives Tristan more clarity on what he should do. It wasn’t easy for their relationship to be built. There was lots of miscommunications and misunderstandings between these two but it was cute. When they finally caught on to each other’s feelings Tristan took his time with her. As time passed things got better and better. There were some very sad moments and some very terrifying moments along with moments that will completely piss you off. Tristan is every woman alpha dream guy. He was close to perfect and wanted what his parents have. Charlie was hesitant but followed her heart.

The last couple chapters were not what I was expecting but I kind of had an idea because of some of Charlie’s flashbacks. The epilogue was the most adorable one I’ve ever read. Especially with the things Lexi says about “fishing”, lol.

I can’t WAIT for Mason story, lol. I loved him and his antics are funny but he was extremely good to Tristan and Lexi. True definition of a best friend/brother.

5-stars is the maximum that I can give this book on here but I have to tell you that this book is worth a million more stars than that!!! Nikki Ash is at the top of her game with this book!!! I can't even explain how much I loved this story!!!
Charlie is a young woman who has been through unimaginable horrific events in her life who has escaped her old life and is staring over in Los Angeles. While she attempts to rebuild her life, she is plagued with memories from the past, some of them are good memories, while others are so horrific she can barely stand the pain. Tristan has been burned in relationships in the past and is not looking for a relationship. His top priority is his daughter and her happiness. Tristan first meets Charlie at the club she is working at and immediately realizes their is something special about her. Unfortunately, they don't get to talk much that night. Fast-forward a few days later and Tristan's adorable daughter Lexi approaches Charlie in a coffee shop and strikes up a conversation with her. This chance meeting in the coffee shop changes the course of Tristan, Charlie and Lexi's life forever. Tristan and Charlie are hesitant to start anything at first but it soon becomes clear that their attraction for one another cannot be denied. Will their love be able to survive or will the past collide with their present and tear them apart forever?
Nikki Ash knows how to deliver on a book that will pull at your heartstrings. I laughed, cried and rejoiced for these characters. Plus at the end, she drops one heck of a cliffhanger for Mason's book!! Trust me, you need this book in your life ASAP!!!

HOLY MOTHER OF RAINBOWS!!! THIS. BOOK. Go in with your eyes wide open because it’s going to take you on an emotional journey to the top of Lexi’s Rainbow!!! I’ve read all of Nikki Ash’s books and she blew me away with this hot & steamy single parent romance!!! I haven’t read another book like it and I’m so glad that Nikki Ash put her palette of incredible words to paper and shared it with us! Tristan and Charlie have this amazing chemistry. A connection that is slow growing and believable. For me, that connection was the ultimate protection quality of both Tristan and Charlie, they would ALWAYS put Lexi first! When Charlie’s past comes crashing through,Tristan’s world is turned upside down. What follows is a great story of suspense, action, and love. Tristan and Charlie will have to FIGHT for a chance at a future, a future they so desperately want together. This book was a perfect everything and I LOVED IT!!! It will leave YOU with all these HEART HUGS and what to follow next...MASON!!!
Just one-click it or do whatever you have to do and get THIS BOOK!!!

I was gifted an ARC and in return this is my honest review.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by the author)...

After the ending in Tapping Out, I needed to know Tristan’s story and about his little girl, Lexi. We get a glimpse into Tristan’s side of certain events in Tapping Out and I just loved him for trying to help his best friend out (still don’t agree with Bella and Marco’s actions btw), but he did get burned. Which leads to his own craziness with his ex-girlfriend Gina and all her troubles.

While Tristan’s story is heart tugging, Charlie’s story is just heart obliterating and I was just an awe of her strength. The horrors that she suffered were immense and yet she managed to keep on going. When these two meet it’s an instant attraction, but with friends and family thrown in that attraction turns into a connection. Unfortunately, Charlie’s past is not ready to let her go and she doesn’t want to put Tristan and his family in danger.

There are many twists and secrets in this book and I couldn’t stop reading it. Tristan was absolutely swoon-worthy and a great father who just wanted to love his girls.

I need Mason and Mila’s book because omg what did he do?! ;)

Clinched by Nikki Ash
“Healing hearts, 5 stars”

I am a huge fan of Nikki’s since basically the beginning. When I read about Tristan when he was a child I knew I would love him as an adult. And let me tell you that character? He’s perfection. He is loyal to a fault and willing not to ask questions if he knows not to no matter how bad he wants to ask. His love for his daughter basically bleeds out of him. He is basically the definition of what a mother and woman want for a partner and her child. I’m 99% sure that he should be under the definition of book boyfriend in the dictionary.
Charlie is broken and that’s the best way to describe her without too much detail. My heart bled for almost the whole story for her. She found happiness with Tristan and his daughter Lexi, but a part of her was still missing. One can heal, but one doesn’t forget the hurt and her hurt is big.
I loved all the players in Clinched. They each played their parts perfectly and made it ridiculously easy to fall into the story. You meet new characters and get time with old ones. I won’t lie at the end of Clinched my heart was full of happiness for them but it hurt at the same time because we are one step closer to the end of a family we have loved for what feels like forever.
Now rest assured if you are new to Nikki, you don’t have to read the stories that come before Clinched. But I recommend it to get the full family experience.

I was sooo incredibly lucky to receive an ARC of Clinched but how does one try to review a book that they've been holding their breath to read since first knowing one, that a book would be made about that character and two, you finally heard it was being written and published.... Well let me tell you... all that waiting and anticipation did not fully prepare me for what I just read!!! Holy mother of all things holy Clinched is by far my top fav read of 2018!!! maybe ever!! I must've went through every emotion so many times and it was sooo worth it... all the tears... the laughter.... the heart ache.... the fustration (although there wasn't much of it at all because this author is amazing!!!) Tristan and Charlie were sooo absolutely perfect for one another and I'm Soo happy and relieved Tristan finally got his HEA because let's face it he is the PERFECT MAN through and through!! and Mason..... Gahhhh we need his story like ASAP because I need more Tristan and Charlie and I need to know what's going down with the way this book ended!! (Sorry I don't do spoilers LOL) anyways everyone absolutely needs to read Clinched!!! You most definitely won't be diasppointed!!!

Charlie & Tristan have a GREAT story!! I loved the way they met & the way their relationship progressed. Charlie is going through a really rough time, and we get to know her past through flashbacks. I normally really don't like flashbacks, but these were done perfectly - the right information & length to them so they didn't take me out of the present story, only enhanced it. Thumbs up to this author for that!

The way these two are as parents, the way their daughters are written, also get the thumbs up from me. This story has a lot of humor, some heartache as well, the right amount of sexy times, some twists that are perfectly timed (and resolved, as well)... All of it together made an enjoyable read!

Also, I had another story next on my list to read, but Mason & Mila's story so intrigued me that I bought that to read next! : )

I'm really on a roll right now with this Nikki Ash series - I am loving it and all the characters. This author has a wonderful ability to bring in such an emotional element and leaves out all the drama break ups!!!! I have really seen the growth of the writing from the original fighting series and now in this series spinoff with the kids. I also noticed the next series is about the Grandchildren........I am in binge reading heaven!!!!!!

So much chemistry between these characters. This author loves the single mom and dad tropes!!! I also love how front and center the kids are because she writes the cutest ones!!!! We watched Tristan grow up and knew he would need to find his own way and Charlie was such a sweet wonderful match for him. I loved the whole story and again read it in a day!!!!!

Another fab instalment to the Fighting Love series. Following Bella’s story in Tapping Out, it’s the turn of Tristan, who if you remember was a significant character in Tapping Out.

After enduring his fair share of heartache in the previous book, it’s Tristan’s turn to find happiness. BUT with any Nikki Ash book, the road to love isn’t without drama and unease.
But as you read on, the the turmoil seems worth it. I won’t say if the characters have a happy ending, you’ll have to read for yourself, but I will say that it’s every much worth a read to see if they do. Tristan and Charlie deserve to have their happy and reading their journey is an amazing experience.

What really sealed the deal on this book though for me was the realism. I love the way the author deals with the varying situations and isn’t shy about writing intense issues. They are always dealt with tastefully and that’s what I enjoy reading.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and I cannot wait for the next book! Highly recommend!

This was a very enjoyable book from beginning to end. There was some very tender moments in this book that made it that more enjoyable. Tristan is trying to live his life and take care of his daughter. He has been through alot before he gets to where he is now. He runs into Charlie while out on the town. It isnt until later that he runs into her again but this time his daughter is involved. Charlie is trying to get over someone very tragic that has happened in her life. But little does she know that it was all a lie. I loved these two together once they get there. Tristen and Charlie have some great chemistry and i absolutely love seeing their relationship grow. I wanted to climb into this book and hug Charlie when she learns the truth about her past that she was trying to deal with. Just a well written lovable story line that will pull at your heart strings. Highly recommend.

Ever since i read Tapped out which was Bella's story, I've wanted to read Tristan's story. This was so good. I loved how it ended. It was so good to finally see a happy ending for Tristan after all he had been through over the years. After years of being a single dad he finally got his girl. I couldn't have picked a better girl for him. Charlie was so great of a person despite everything she had been thru. It wouldnt be a story without a few hated characters and boy i hated 2 characters badly. The one that shall not be named as Mason says... well good riddance on that one. The other one deserved it as well. Lets get to the most adorable character ever Lexi! That girl brought such a smile to my face! And Mason i need his book like nowwwwww
