Maybe it's magic...maybe it's three racoons in a dumpster.
Ana Winters needs a safe haven. She can't afford for anyone to look too closely when her magic goes haywire and she starts to glow. Unfortunately, hiding in plain sight isn't how small towns work, and the alluring local Sheriff can't keep his eyes off her. Then again, he might be the only one who can help.
Sheriff Shane Garrett will do just about anything for Ana. Scare off an angry mob of racoons? Done. Help her learn to use her magic? No problem. Fight a possessive, deranged god attempting to claim her for himself? Bring it on. All he wants in return is the truth.
When Ana’s past finds them, they face more than destructive secrets and aggressive urban wildlife. Under pressure from gods, mothers, and an opinionated Muse, their fragile trust must strengthen into an unassailable bond to protect their future.
Another awesome story from this author. In this full-length paranormal romance we meet Ana who is having issues with her magic and Shane our sheriff who is there to help her. Gods and demigods, magic, guardians, power, secrets, and some interesting but aggressive wildlife well all of this makes for a highly entertaining, gripping and exciting read that I could not put down. I look forward to reading more.
Nicole has done it again! In Divinity Bound we find Ana Winters, an injured dancer with a troubled past, and the southern charm gentleman Shane Garrett who you can't help but melt for. What happens when those two get together? A heap of sexual tension and definitely some fireworks! Oh and Ana might have some powers? Don't forget my favorite character Calliope makes an appearance, when she deems necessary. Those who enjoy a little bit of magic, powerful gods, and sexy Sheriffs will enjoy this book!
Ana is having trouble with her magic and Shane is there to help her but will that be all they share. I love the story and how the gods and the demigods, magic and secrets are what pulled me into this story and kept me engaged but I have to go read the first book because I need to understand some of what was brought up in this book but it was amazing.

Divinity Bound by Nicole Hall is Book 2 in the Rise Of The Lost Gods series. This paranormal story is filled with magic, gods, demigods, unusual wildlife and is interesting and entertaining. Our characters, Ana who has trouble with her magic and Shane the sheriff who is helping her are real and wonderfully developed. The storyline grabs you at page 1 and keeps you turning pages to the end. Looking forward to the next in series. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary review.
Ana and Shane made such a perfect couple, complementing each other’s weaknesses and strengths. Ana even learns how to change a weakness of hers into a strength.
Calliope is awesome, as always.
I loved the statue of Cerberus – I want one!
The secrets Kora, Moira and David keep are becoming a lot clearer – can’t wait to learn more!
There were instances of language that I didn’t appreciate – and I’m not talking the few f-bombs.
4 1/2 stars An enjoyable story with paranormal aspects and two equally intriguing characters. I loved how the author crafted this story. I was immediately propelled into her world and found it fascinating. I loved his character - so delightful and swoon worthy.
