Wolfish #2

Curseborne

Rate this book
Who says a girl can’t be alpha?

With the Alpha Trials starting, I have to get my head in the game. Problem is, my heart is so obsessed with my infuriating cursed mate, I can’t focus. But I have to. Because with the secret of my true bloodline out, the supreme alpha wants my head on a platter. And he’s not above using the trials to get the job done.

As if surviving the dreaded trials wasn’t bad enough, I also have to deal with the unwanted (and sometimes deadly) advances of the other Lunar Pack competitors. Who knew this mate thing was such a big deal? Now I’ve got vampire, faery, and angel wolf hybrids chasing my tail.

That does not make my possessive fated mate happy. Between stolen kisses and sidelong glances, he refuses to complete our mate bond unless the curse is broken, but that doesn’t mean he wants anyone else’s paws on me either.

All I have to do is get my mystical powers working, win the trials and cure my cursed mate, and I’ll be one happy she-wolf. Easy, right?

*** This is an upper YA/NA crossover with schmexy alpha wolves and is best suited for ages 16+. Be warned this is a slow burn enemies-to-lovers romance, and the steaminess factor does increase through the course of the series! ♥

*** Wolfish is set within the world of Azar, along with (in reading order) Hitched, Darkblood Academy, Royally Hitched and Darkblood Prison but it's not necessary to read the other series first to enjoy this one.

G.K. DeRosa

G.K. De Rosa has been an avid reader from a very young age. In fact, before she could even read, she tried fooling everyone into thinking that she could. At the precocious age of two, while living in Italy, she had memorized an entire children’s book in Italian and expertly turned the pages at the exact right moments of the story. As she grew up, she always enjoyed literature, no doubt having been instilled with a love of story telling from her early years in Catholic school where she was greatly influenced by exemplary teachers who taught her the value of English and Literature. Though she did not pursue writing in college and instead went for the more traditional route of International Business inspired by her love for travel and all things foreign, after a move to New York City, she found her creative writing side calling once again. She began writing a restaurant review blog, City Lights and Tasty Bites, detailing her other passion – food! The hectic hustle and bustle of the city, combined with long commuting times gave her the opportunity to spend more time reading and rekindled a lost love. After reading countless books in many diverse genres over the two years in New York City, and returning to her home state of Florida, she felt compelled to write something for herself. She had always felt particularly drawn to Young Adult novels and having been an eternal romantic at heart, a fantasy romance was a natural choice. She currently lives in South Florida with her real life Prince Charming and their fur baby, Nico the German Shepherd.

Storyline is a little drawn out....causing a drop in ratings for me.

1) Hunter is still denying completing the mating bond. Causing redundant conversations.

2) There is still no clear/complete answer to Sierra's lineage

3) Sierra has not come into her full power yet is competing in the trials (weird to me how she is progressing so weak).

With this being book 2 I feel we should have closed the deal on at least one of the above points.

Now we end on quite the cliff hanger which includes another betrayal by Sierra's family. I mean at this point I could care less if both she and Hunter's family burned. It is just frustrating the amount of difficulties there has been for their "mating".

The storyline started strong in book 1 and if some things and been resolved and new issues evolved then I would feel more positive about the read.

Definitely going to read book 3 even though I feel a little strung along.

Happy reading,
DD💕

How are the Royals treating Cass? I need a novella from her point of view. Oh! A Vass or Cander love story?

The author is over here killing me slowly with all the build-up and sexual tension between our two main characters, Hunter and Sierra. I have very strong feelings that Hunter is being a stubborn alpha, and he needs to stop so he and Sierra can be stronger together.

Also, I did not expect the mom plot line at all, but I did suspect something else which turned out to be correct. I hate how everyone in Sierra’s life thinks they know what’s best for her and try to push her into their corners, without letting her decide for herself. I think that’s why Cass, her best friend, has grown on me so much, because she is there for Sierra and supportive instead of trying to push her into a certain path. Also I am still enjoying Vander being around, and I hope he gets a happy ending as well.

There’s a lot going on in this book; it’s fast-paced and the trials actually still haven’t ended yet, and there are some wolves’ loyalties whom I’m questioning. I’m hoping for the best, but maybe I need to prepare for the worst!

Sierra is a very strong character who fights for what she wants, and I’m glad she has had such a positive influence on Hunter’s motivation. I’m rooting for team #Hunterra (as Cass dubs them lol).

I love this book so much. It is even better then the first book. Sierra is such a great character and loved watching her grow into her wolf in this book. I love how devoted she is to Hunter and breaking his curse. You get inside Hunter's head for a few chapters and you really see how he struggles with the curse and his mate bond with Sierra. I love him even more now that I have read his PoV. #TeamHunterra forever. I love the chemistry between Hunter and Sierra and think they are just perfect together. This book is way more steamy then book 1.

I love how fast paced and adrenaline packed this book is. I couldn't put it down. I love tournament arcs so the Alpha Trails were some of my favorite parts. I was so sad when I turned the last page. The writing as always was amazing. GK Derosa's writing always sucks me into the story. I can't wait for book 3.

What can I say?

Who couldn't have guessed the grand was the highest priestess that cursed Hunter? Except Sierra Of cause. (Eye rolling here ). For a supposed powerfull witch 🧙‍♀️ this one is lacking 😑, if her power works on emotions shouldn't it has kicked in when the mother was about to be murdered? Then relying on someone to protect her whilst she hinds then miracle gets her power to protect her mate? (Scratching my head here) do females still act the damsel in distress and expect males to come save the day? ( didn't realise we are still stuck in the 1800 when it comes to romance books) ladies we have females prime ministers, president, leader of the wold Bank, European Union and a Queen of England. Authors the roles of a female has evolved please catch up. You can influence a generation if you get things great.

Wow, what a read! This is a great continuation of this series and just grabs you from the get go! It’s action packed and has so much danger and suspense, twists and turns and a few surprises as well and is so gripping I was on the edge of my seat the whole read! The storyline is addictive and the characters are amazing and I am loving this series!

Drama, Danger, Suspense, Romance

So much drama and suspense! I love that throughout the whole book, there is this mystery of who cursed Hunter and trying to find ways to end the curse.
I love that the Alpha Trials add a dangerous aspect to the book. Throughout the book the contestants have to endure one trial a day for 4 weeks. These trials can be anything really. Especially fights.
Hunter and Sierra’s love is something that always makes me shiver. Even though his human half is cursed, Hunters wolf still knows that Sierra is their mate. Hunters wolf loves her for the both of them. I love how Sierra never gives up on him, no matter how many times he tried to push her away. He didn’t want her to mate with someone who couldn’t love her, but she wouldn’t let him decide that for her. I love how fierce and strong she is.
And she’s going to need that strength if she’s going to become the next supreme alpha.

A great follow up book that delivered more mystery and action

The second book was really good. It had a strong and refreshing plot to carry on with from the first book, and plenty more mystery and action. The twists and turns kept coming and they didn't disappoint!

I can't wait for the third one.

This book is perfectly in line with book 1. It's entertaining enough, and fairly inventive.

I just don't particularly like the protagonist, and people's actions don't always make much sense.

🌟 2.5 stars 🌟

I stand by my previous thoughts on book one - its fairly predictable and the usual is to be expected with these tropes (fated mates, curses, shifters etc).

Ultimately this book makes me question WHY and not in the good way. Be warned, *SPOILERS BELOW*

***

The Swearing Thing
The aversion to swearing was still grating (seeing as this is listed as upper YA/NA), with things like shit being replaced with shift
- eg. shift! holy shift, mother shifter, are you shifting me... and then things like son of a werewolf!
I'm sorry, I just can't get behind this. It isn't funny to me personally and started to feel forced with how much its used. WHY.

The BFF 'Relationship' Thing
There's hints at a thing between Vander (Hunter's friend) and Cass (Sierra's friend) but I really don't get the point. It's just Sierra constantly noticing that something's going on, while questioning if something's going on - Sierra's observation skills = zero. She's far too busy running in circles with her own problems, but that's just my opinion.
- "Had she and Vander hit if off the night of the gala after I'd disappeared?"
- "Was my friend crushing on Vander?"
- "Had things progressed between my bestie and Vander without me noticing?"

WHY?

The Inconsistencies Thing
Tell me if we're reading the same thing here...

Everything slowed. I blinked quickly but still the sharp weapon and its wielder moved in slow motion. I, however, was operating in normal speed. Faster even. I ducked before the spear hit its mark and scrambled beneath Triton's enormous legs. Once I'd gotten to the opposite side of the arena, everything quickened.

and then right after that:

The roar of the crowd slammed into me a second before Triton did. His thick arms wrapped around my middle and dragged me to the floor.

HOW? Weren't you on the other side of the arena? What was the point of that?

Magic Suits - that are conveniently non-magical later to build tension?

So in the trials there are suits which are described as follows:

"Was lightweight and allowed ease of movement and was spelled to remain intact when we wolfed-out. That would certainly help with the nakedness thing."

But then in one of the later trials:

"The shift came on. A minute later, I was standing naked with only the hedge to hide beside."
And then:
"A young guy sprung up from behind the maze and tossed us each a new jumpsuit."

So, either they didn't use the same suit as the first trial, but then if they didn't and used plain jumpsuits - WHY?

A non-sensical review finale
I could go on for days about Sierra and how she is not my kinda heroine, but whatever. The main point here is the back and forth between Hunter and Sierra, and at this point I just want to scream WHYYYYYYY. Their mate bond will make them OP, the villain has literally said he's glad they haven't mated to form the bond yet, but MY GOD, Hunter saying the same thing over and over got bland real fast (hint: it's because Sierra 'deserves more' or whatever). I'm paraphrasing now and not making sense but here's my prediction:

They mate (finally), get super OP and I SWEAR TO GOD if Sierra, or Hunter, say something to the effect of "we should have done this sooner" I will be deceased.

The end.

Wolfish: Curseborne continues the story of Sierra and Hunter. It is a cute YA+ fated-mates paranormal romance novel.

When the Secret of Sierra's heritage is exposed, she's forced to compete as the only female in the Alpha Trials. Things heat up as the mate bond between her Dragon Boy increases, but the curse that separates them makes it impossible for them to complete the bond. But as they spend more time together, preparing for the Alpha Trials and looking into the her mysterious lineage and his curse, Sierra and her Dragon Boy are only drawn closer together.

The story picks up hot on the heels of the last book... and ends on the precipice of the next installment, so reader beware! It's a little while before you can sate your thirst for the ending. Books 1-2 are out. I believe Book 3 comes out in Late September 2021.... so it's not long of a wait, if you can stand reading e-books. (I hate them, but my fondness for cheap book prices and quicker plot resolution is starting to grow on me...)

Just as in the previous book, the world-building and characters are fun and exciting. The plot is a little cliche insofar as "fated mates" lines go (so I've come to read the past couple weeks)-- but it has a flavourful uniqueness that makes the story engaging. Continuing from the first installment-- It's STILL a brain-candy book with pent up sexual tension on every page. I loved it. The sexual heat is a little more intense in this installment... I don't think it can stay muted for much longer...

My only chagrin was the book needs a better editor. Some of the sentence structure and grammar was distracting, but not on a much lesser level than normally seen in a lot of writing from lesser-known publishers or from self-published authors. It was palatable, making the story shine through. Though, if you're a grammar snob, you might get hung up on it... but, grammar aside, the story and writing style are fun and flirty in a way that makes the books a blissful distraction from the outside world.

Gods, I STILL LOVE the characters. Cass, the magical healer and Sierra's best friend. Vander, BFF of the Supreme Beta, Aristaeus (also beta of the Dragos wolf pack). Ransom, beta of the Royal wolf pack. You have bad guys and hunks aplenty in this badass paranormal world built for adventure.

You also get to see a more devilish side of some of the characters and the lengths they'll go to get the upper hand in the Alpha Trials and, also, to smoke out the truth behind the relationship between Sierra and Hunter.

The world crafted by DeRosa has a lot of potential for adventure-- and I'm sure that's reflected in her other books (though this is my first taste of her writing).

If this book had a bit more polish, I'd give it 4 stars. It's a good read. I can't wait for the next book... Gah!

I'm not a fan of incredibly obvious plot lines because it makes the reading experience so much less fun. There is no real suspense and no real mystery in this. I forgave the obvious denseness in the first book when it came to whether Hunter is Hunter (come on though?). This story however was extra predictable after the first...10%? There were so many hints given to the heroine (again and again) about her grandmother's role and she just couldn't connect the dots? I'm supposed to believe that she just could not figure it out without someone, quite literally, telling her in a big reveal at 80%? What exactly am I supposed to like about this book if the heroine is neither a badass (we'll get into that in a second) nor has any useful functioning brain capacity?

She is plain helpless throughout the entire book even though she supposedly has a super dominant wolf. That doesn't really make any sense. Yet, we keep reading about how she has to be saved continuously because she can NEVER hold her own.
Sure, make her physically less strong in competitions, okay...but why is she also not intelligent? I mean...give me either or right? What am I rooting for otherwise? This story is really happening just as much to the heroine as it is to me as the reader because she is an extremely passive character. She never makes any pro active decisions and it's just boring to read paragraphs over paragraphs about "problems" that we solved at 10 %...I mean, that everyone else solved at 10%. She also throws herself a pity party and puts blame on Hunter after her mother is murdered which just underlines how self-involved this character is written. Just because someone is presented with two impossible choices doesn't make them guilty of anything if they choose. That person has to ultimately live with their decision so it is never up to any third party to dictate the choice. She's just neither smart nor mature nor particularly tough. I just have a hard time understanding why I should be invested in her mediocrity.

more like 3.9 stars but I'm just being picky-- it was a good sequel!!

firstly, i like how committed Sierra is to saving Hunter from his curse. honestly, with how hot and cold Hunter was, I would understand if Sierra to just gave up, but her insistence and determination influenced Hunter to doing the right choice. also, i think Hunter's curse is really interesting and usually the whole hot and cold gimmick doesn't really work for me because I think it's selfish, but it this time I can understand Hunter's motives (they're actually pretty selfless in the whole "martyr" way) but I'm happy that Sierra made him see that he was being selfish by choosing her fate for her.

the whole plot with Sierra's mother and grandmother was something I didn't really think about too much but I wasn't a whole lot surprised with what was revealed. I was sad for Sierra that her grandmother vanished to enact revenge rather than helping her granddaughter but then if her grandmother helped her the whole curse part would've been resolved too easily.

the alpha challenges were fun to read and i liked meeting the many new characters in the book. sometimes i get confused why Sierra thinks she can become the supreme alpha when she herself doesn't have control over her powers and is so new to this world... like I'm all for self-love/self-confidence but sometimes she seems way over her head with it? like she's so new to everything (and everyone knows that too) and though she makes good progress with learning abilities, it doesn't seem like anywhere near enough to become supreme alpha? what makes her think she can take Hunter or any of the other guys who have been training their whole lives? that's the only part that kinda confused/bugged me. besides that, i like how Sierra acknowledges that she won many rounds with the help of Hunter or others-- that it wasn't of her own doing.

other than that, it was a fun read! can't wait for the next book.

Picking up where its predecessor left off, 'Curseborne thrusts readers into the Alpha trials as Sierra accepts the challenge. Unlike its previous instalment, this captivating sequel also contains Hunter's perspective, immersing readers in his thoughts and motivations.

Amidst their pursuit to unravel the curse plaguing Hunter and safeguard her during the dangerous Alpha trials, the duo embarks on a mission to locate Sierra's missing mother.

G.K. DeRosa has done it again, crafting another enthralling tale! I couldn't put it down, devouring it in one sitting. This fast-paced, action-packed story is a whirlwind of drama, romance, and unexpected twists and turns. While I had a hunch about the outcome, it didn't diminish the enjoyment of the journey.

Regarding Hunter's love issue, I would have loved to see them form their mate bond first before dealing with the curse problem. With the High Priestess's identity already known, it wouldn't make sense for her to let Sierra and Hunter build a life together without love, especially with the mate bond in place.

There's also a chance that Sierra, as she grows more comfortable with her powers, might be able to break the curse herself! We'll have to wait and see what happens next. I also can't wait to discover the purpose of Sierra's blessed wolf. It could be the answer we've been searching for.

While Sierra and Hunter's story is captivating, I'm also intrigued by the side characters' development, Cass, Sierra's best friend, who's now with Roman's pack and seemingly getting close to Vander. I'm eager to read about their interactions, particularly their date, and how Cass navigates her new environment within Roman's pack.

Good with a teaspoon of minor frustration

I'm in 2 minds of this story. On one hand, I am enjoying this story so far. It's well written, interesting, with a mixture of villains who have the upper hand and the main characters and their loyal friends who want to bring about change and survive a dangerous situation. The hybrid wolves are interesting, and the situation with the curse is also interesting. Oh, and guessing who did the curse was easy, even if the characters were slow to the party.

On the other hand, I'm deducting a star because I never enjoy it when authors utilise this story mechanism where despite claiming that their mate is their whole world and promising to do everything to protect them, they avoid the one thing that would help them the most. Whenever I see this used, it always feels like a tool to drag out the story and keep the reader frustrated. Its feels unnecessary and doesn't actually make sense at this point as the characters felt like they reached the point to stop waiting during this book. Sorry if this contained spoilers.
Of course I don't know what the author has planned, and I'll read the next book, because it is actually a good story.

Read this book again in one night. I loved the first one and couldn't wait to start this. I was not disappointed, only in Hunter, that lad needs to get his act together and start the mate bond with Sierra. I know he wants to wait until he can break the curse but it could be too late then, there are many other wolves willing to give her what Hunter won't. It is a good job she loves him so much.
I do know what happens between then eventually as I have read a series that was written after this and they feature in that (I hadn't seen this series previously so read in wrong order).
I enjoyed the fact that Sierra was forced to participate in the Alpha Trials by Hunter's father who believes she will be killed during these and save him the job, but with the help of Hunter and a couple of other friends she is working her way through them, after all who said an Alpha has to be a male.
Apart from the worry and the injuries from the trials, her mother is also kidnapped to try to get to Sierra and she is trying to find her and rescue her,
There is so much going on in this book I could feel my heart racing at times to keep up. I am team Hunter all the way but just wish he would get the deed over and done with

This is what addictive reading looks like! This is full of angsty forbidden love and believing in destiny. Sierra keeps fighting and the plot thickens with twisty turns. The foreshadowing in this series has been phenomenal. I've loved reading about this creative supernatural world and all of it's varying wolf kinds. I can't wait to get the next book into my hands.

Hunter is craving his mate just as much as Sierra. The push and pull between these two will give you all the pouty face emotions. It's just so heart-wrenching! If there were ever two star crossed lovers who deserve their happily ever after, it's these two. The path has not been smooth or easy, and it's not going to be. They're going to have to take down the corrupted leaders and forge a new way forward. I'm so looking forward to mass destruction.

I kinda hope that the besties have a spark happening. There has to be something happening there. And who doesn't like to see the supporting characters falling hard as well?!

If you love shifters and fated mates who can't easily claim each other, with some of the best storytelling, pick this series up! It's addictive and brilliantly entertaining.

This is the second book in A Fated Mates Paranormal Romance series. Sierra is being forced to participate in the Alpha Trials as the only member of the Mystic Pack. Sierra is at a great disadvantage, she grew up as a human and has not trained for the Alpha Trials like all the other participants. The bond between Hunter and Sierra continues to grow as they spend more time together in the Trials. Hunter's wolf knows Sierra is his mate but Hunter has been cursed and he is unable to feel anything for Sierra, all his love for her has been ripped away from him leaving him with a hole where his heart is. There appears to be a plot to kill Sierra during the Trials and make it look like an accident. Will Hunter and Sierra be able to find a way to break the curse so Hunter can feel the love he has for Sierra or will their chance at love be taken from them? I love this book. This is an amazing story with wonderful characters. There is so much going on with the characters that the story grabs you and doesn't let go. If you love shifters this is a must read!

>Book Review – Wolfish: Curseborne

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 2nd in the Wolfish series and ends in a cliffhanger. Once Sierra’s pack is discovered, she is forced to participate in the deadly Alpha Trials. Hunter is trying to hide his mate bond with Sierra yet is uber overprotective and jealous over her. There are multiple potential bad guys which is confusing for Hunter and Sierra. They are scrambling to get rid of the loveless curse put on Hunter.

>Sierra and Hunter decide not to break their bond, although their back and forth is exhausting. They need to sleep together in order to fully mate. They will share powers after they fully mate. With Sierra being targeted in the Trials, I don’t know why Hunter wouldn’t mate with her just to save her life.

>This book is appropriate for a new adult (17+) audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. I love the side characters. Ransom especially is hard to decide if he is good or bad. I need Hunter to stop being so wishy-washy when it comes to the mate bond with Sierra.

And the or thickens!

Sierra and Hunter have the odds stacked against them, fated Mates who are wolf versions of Romeo and Juliet. Their families hate each other and the fated Mates have to not only survive the trials together but remove an ancient Curse. The trials are dangerous and they are not giving up but working together to survive and win the deadly game. Secrets, lies and deception are everywhere and finding the truth may not give them the answers they are looking for. Revenge is a powerful tool but the consequences can be deadly. Ultimately this is a love story with, tender moments, heartfelt friendships and devotion. I hope she can win the game as Sierra deserves that chance but the odds are not favourable. Too many enemies in the shadows plottibg her downfall but Sierra is strong and she has Hunter at her side. Engaging story about loss and love that keeps you hoping for that happily ever after.

Enter The Alpha Trials!😳🐺💥
Friendship, Care & Love!🙏💘
(Read using Kindle Unlimited)
Wolfish: Curseborne (Wolfish #2)

Sierra, now outed as the last Mystic Wolf to the wolf council, is ordered to enter the Alpha Trials!😳 Hunter, & a guilt ridden Ransom, promise to aid & protect her where they can. As far as Hunter can he keeps his word, she doesn't go uninjured though.😕 His father wants her dead & admits it. Her Mum & Gran are still holding back information that could help her.😢 Their mate bond is stronger than ever but he refuses to tie her to Someone who can't return her love!💔

This is all very frustrating!😡 I'm thankful this book showed Hunters wolf was as in love with Sierra as she is with the whole of him!🙏 On to book #3

Fast paced with great characters and an excellent story filled with secrets, family deceit and two young people not giving up on one another and their love.
Sierra and Hunter are entering the Alpha Games and he's keeping it secret about her being his fated mate.
She doesn't have much of a chance to survive but Hunter is going to protect her.
So many secrets and lies with their families, deceit surrounds them expect for a few friends and Sierra may have lost one.
Hunter has drawn the line with his father, Sierra has a great loss and the only hope of breaking his curse has vanished.
I would highly recommend this book and series.

This is an Amazing Series! Cannot put it down!

The mate bond and curse is working for and against Sierra and Hunter. This book has kept me spellbound and I have been hard-pressed to put it down since I started it. It's emotional, exciting, dramatic and still leaves you hopeful because of Sierra's determination to keep her mate, and it also shows Hunter who cannot 'love' because of the curse, still devoted to her and protecting her as a mate would. Love the tingle of romance and the tinge of doubt that keeps you on the edge. A great book, but read it with lots of time to enjoy it, because it is hard to put down!

Wolfish: Curseborne by G.K. Derosa is Book 2 in the Wolfish series. This is very well written and the characters are great. Hunter's curse (his human side unable to Love Sierra but luckily his wolf side escaped the curse and knows she is his mate and loves her which keeps him by her side and needing to protect her) is quite a problem for Sierra -- it's making it difficult for her to concentrate which could get her killed. Both Sierra and Hunter must compete in the Alpha trials (one trial a day for 4 weeks). Lots going on which kept me turning pages to the end and wanting more. Highly recommend this series. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary review.

This story of a cursed bond between two people and the destruction caused by their families will keep you turning the pages into the wee hours of the morning because you won’t want to quit!

Sierra hasn’t been able to access her witchy powers or her wolfish ones either for that matter but she is now thrown into a contest between the alphas of all the wolf packs to determine the next supreme alpha over all packs. Her love for Hunter is thwarted by the curse he has to bear because of what his father did to her father and his wolf pack by exterminating them all. However, Sierra was protected by a powerful spell so she survived.

Her love.Hunter, is bound and determined to help her survive the alpha contests and with them working together they believe they’ll win the contest. However, her mother is taken by wolves and now it’s a race to try and save her as well.

There are some twists I certainly didn’t see coming but I was so caught up in the story that it just added to the desire to read it even faster to see how it played out!

I wholeheartedly recommend this series to all those who love paranormal romantic action suspenseful adventure stories! This is book two so you must read the first book to get the background between these two love birds who seem to be stymied by the curse placed upon the son of the man who exterminated a whole pack of wolves for reasons we still don’t know.
Perhaps it will be revealed in book three which based on how this story ended is going to be a real barn-burner as the alpha trials continue and Hunter is bound and determined to deliver the crown to Sierra and make her the next Supreme Alpha over all the Wolfpack’s! I can’t wait for it to be available so I can get back to this story and pick up where this book left off!

If you’re looking for romance, love, adventure, excitement and a page-turner to keep you up all night well here it is! G.K. is a masterful story teller who weaves a story that will bring tears to your eyes as well as keeping you spell bound by her story that is hard to put down!

Do yourself a favor and pick up both books and start an adventure you will long remember and will be happy that you did so! You won’t regret it I guarantee you!

If you're looking for adventure, laughs, and romance, G.K DeRosa is the author for you! This book was one of my most anticipated reads after I read the first book!

This takes off right where book 1 left us, with Sierra and Hunter being fated mates, but Sierra doesn't know. Not only that, but the Alpha Games are about to start.

There is never a dull moment in a DeRosa book! More is a stake now with the curse and things spiraling. I can't wait to see how book 3 unfolds!

Such good storytelling! The excitement about Sierra's and her wolf boyfriend Aristaeus love was excruciating due to not being able to actually be a couple with the curse. A competition between werewolves was for the best to win but not Sierra. It was very dangerous and without Aristaeus's help she might have gotten killed. Some species of werewolves did not get along with the idea of Sierra's Mystics species and didn't want the pairing together. This series is so strong and the story continues on. Loved it.
