When escaping, one should make a plan. Someone should have told past-me that first…
I also need to fix a little issue or four if I ever escape. ‘Surprise, I have a caster for mate’ wasn’t exactly how I saw my wedding going. I also didn’t see this. He betrayed me. Now that I’ve found my powers, you’d think I know what I’m doing.
The betrayal among the wolves is worse than ever and I’m not sure how to end it. Add in that my past is catching up to me and I just have more questions. One problem at a time, I guess. So who’s telling my mates about the new guy and how do I get rid of the bad guy once and for all?
This is the third and final book in the Howling for Her Series.
Michelle writes alongside keeping her two tiny children, three dogs, three chickens, and husband alive. Slowly as her sanity teeters on the edge, she writes novels to escape every day.
Currently, she dreams up new worlds in Denver, Colorado, although she still embraces her roots from Chicago. Writing is a part of her, just as coffee and chocolate are her life-blood. In a world that is far too serious for its own good, she writes an escape.
I normally have zero triggers but it is nice to be warned of them beforehand. Book two has dub con and a basic kidnapping a rape scene that threw off the rest of the series for me. This last book, the connections were hard to hold on too and I really disliked the ending. It's like the author pushed everything into a few chapters because of limited space. We should have been able to see what happened with the witch council but it's left on a cliffhanger....on the last book?! Anyway, I rated it a 2 overall.
Third Comes Mates by Michelle Ziegler is a fated mates romance. This is the third and final book in the Howling For Her series.
Michelle did a great job wrapping up the series. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Fiona, Drake, Noah, Aiden, and Nick. They had a lot of struggles along the way but you couldn't help but root for them.
I would recommend this series if you like fated mates, wolf shifters, witches, and reverse harem romances.
This ended up being a pretty good trilogy. Who would have thought things would turn out the way they did! Most def not me. I mean it was obvious there was something special about Fiona. But all... that...totally unexpected. I really wish we learned more about that. Like a little less smut (even though the smut was pretty good, so keep the smut and add a few more pages lol). A little more history and story/ plot line aspects. How when Fi find out who she really is, there will be a lot of changes happening b/c of all of that. And the whole extra Alpha thing. That's totally not normal from the way the book made it sound. I'm a recovering addict though (over 5.5 years this time, yay), so needing MORE is kinda an issue of mine lol.
I heard it was the last book, idk if its true...but there is totally room for more book in this series if the author really wanted to. I honestly think that these books would have turned out better if they were one book. Keep all of book 1, half of book 2, and most of book 3. Put them all together and this would have been a Bad A$$ novel. THEN, I woulda popped out two more. (lol, I know its not that easy, And I am by no means an expert.) So really, my only complaint about this series is that I wanted MORE. It was a good series, it could have been a GREAT series. But I am still happy that I listened to all three books. And I definitely recommend reading them. I laughed throughout. The men are so funny. And Effin Nick!!! I still believe that, even if not EVERYONE in the books believes that anymore lol. (no real spoilers from me)! But if this is the last book in the series/trilogy, than I look forward to see what Michelle Z comes out with next. Oh and the narrators were great as well! Having 5 narrators was awesome. It made things less confusing. And if you don't recognize the voice, the POV is listed on the chapters. Over all, a great series. I can't wait to see what MZ has instore for us next! Keep up the great work everyone! Your all amazing! #TheFlockVIPreviewTeam #PinkFlamingo <---U guys are amazing!!!
Fiona is a witch/wolf hybrid. She has escaped from the captivity of a caster with whom she has bonded. She thinks he has betrayed her and is fleeing with three other shifters she is unfamiliar with but needs their help. They take her to the magical cave where they live. They tell her she is their Alpha and will protect her from her enemies. She has no memory of what has happened to her, just anger at the caster's betrayal. She has three other mates who she is bonded to as well and realizes they are searching for her but doesn't understand that Nick is coming with them. Her magic draws them all to her. The magic she used to get them to the cave has exhausted her and she falls asleep. When she wakes, her memory has returned and she goes into the water of the healing springs to regain her strength and fuel her magic. The caster and her other three mates find her and the cast reveals that he had been trying to keep her safe. There is a war coming from some rogue shifters who are led by one who is evil. When she bonds with all four of her mates, her magic and that of the caster ishas returned transferred to the other three mates as well. They plan to return to their pack and defeat Victor, the wolf who is planning the attack. The caster tells her there is one he fears more than Victor and that one will have to be defeated as well. Can they win, and will the mates all finally be able to get along without the jealousy?
I am voluntarily reviewing this book after receiving it free Booksprout.
When the fates align so does this third book in the series, Third Comes Mates. This is another great book in the series that has so many different twists and turns that you end no where close to where the series began. But having been written as well as it has the book is a great end to the series, making the only rating I can give 5 out of 5 stars. This book ends the series with a bit of a bang. The pepper rating is the rating of a Habanero, there may not be a lot of hot and steamy scenes but when there is they are HOT!
This story is as well as the two before are ones that could potentially be read by themselves, but I would recommend reading them in order and personally I liked binge reading the three in the same day. These books are a little different than some of the other werewolf stories that I have read in the past, but I love the message at the end of the book. The message of acceptance is one that I think is one of the most immportant messages that the world needs. That being said the way they show it in this book is unqiue and makes me smile.
I would recommend this book only to those who enjoy reverse harem books, and paranormal romances. If you are open to unconvential relationships than you might find this book with reading. I would steer you away from this book if you can't handle violence or sex.
I hope that this helps you find your next Tantalizing Tome!
To say Fiona's wedding night didn't go as expected is an understatement. Kidnapped, mated to Nick, betrayed by her new mate, held by her enemy, escaping, discovering pieces of her past, and having to explain a new caster mate to her wolf mates is definitely not the evening she dreamed of. Now she has four angry, upset men, and their anger and her power are overwhelming her. With war at their doorstep, there's no time for hurt egos. They all need to get on the same page to save the packs. What will it take to get them to get along?
Entertaining but not always enjoyable. I lost patience with Fiona's wolf shifters, especially Noah. The jealousy, pettiness, and immaturity grated on me. I understand being upset but once they saw they were hurting Fiona and later putting the pack in danger, the selfishness became too much. Add in the fact that the answer to everything was sex, and this final book was a letdown. I did love the revelations regarding Fiona's past and would have loved to explore that part of the storyline more.
Fiona is more than anyone thought, even herself and she will fight to the end to do what is needed to keep herself and her mates safe even if they don't like it. She finally comes into her full powers and it is an awesome thing to see, but she needed all four of her mates to get there. But when her full powers do come in with a bang she is surrounded by more than just her mates, she finds her past, or what is left of it. When the guys finally get over fighting with the new guy and welcome him into their pack it just makes them all stronger. But the in and outs of adding a 4th to a triad can be interesting, especially as he is not a wolf but a caster. I suppose it helps that Fiona turns out to be half witch. I found this an interesting series and this last installment I found hard to put down once I started.

I really hate when series books end because you think of the characters as friends. Drake, Noah and Aiden have found their mate in Fiona however there is also a caster added making him number four to her three shifter mates and they aren't exactly.
Fiona has really grown into her powers but can she master them in time to save her pack. She has gone back to her roots.
I accepted this as a complimentary copy but that does not take away from my honesty in these words nor have I been compensated for this review. Check my opinion and form your own by reading a copy yourself. I'll be adding a copy to my library as soon as I am able.
Book 3 started where it let off. And the chaos doesn't end.
Now Fiona has her caster too, and it isn't easy going. I only say: Drama! There is a lot going on. , Fiona has to face her past. She has to go back to her roots. And there is a pack to save too. We get to know that she is more than it was expected. But she really grows into her power. Of course, there is a lot of steamy times too. ;)
It's worth the while. I really like how this series ended. But only one little thing: It's a pity there isn't an epilogue with more insight of the future and how some things end up. But ok. Sometimes you don't get it all.
I liked how nicely this series wrapped up. It got a little angsty for a moment with how upset everyone was over the new mate and the circumstances under which he joined the group. But I liked that it was brought to a close fairly quickly and we even got a scene of them bonding after all was said and done. I felt like we got a good amount of insight into all the main characters and even had a twist in the overarching issue. Add in the stellar narration from all five narrators and I was very satisfied with this ending. TheFlockVIPReviewTeam
Fiona was left with who called her aunt by her mother when she was young and she cannot remember her. Her aunt and her mother were witches. Her father an alpha. Her blood line - she herself - destiny is to being both sides together to stop the wars. Her 3 fated wolf mates (Drake-the Alpha, Noah-the quiet bruit, Aiden-her comedy) and her soulmate Nick (warlock) have to come together to stop others and love her and each other to overcome a battle to take her powers. Unconditional love between the 5 will stop the chaos and bring change.

I have read book 1 and 2 and anxiously awaited the 3rd book. It was freaking awesome! While the mfc was no damsel in distress, I loved how through the battles she faced she managed to keep her sweet personality. The hero’s are to die for. There were a lot of lol moments. But it ended in the best hea. I love that the ending was not rushed. It was perfect! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Fiona now has 4 mates, 3 wolves and a caster. As she thinks that one of them betrayed her, she starts to realize that her magic is being released and boy does it do some damage. The secret message her mother left is now making more sense and as they defeat the enemy, she becomes aware of their new roles together. Great series!

Fiona must work with her three shifter mates and the caster if everything is to work out. She feels someone has betrayed her and tries to understand what happened. The characters are well done, with plenty of backstories and emotions. The storyline has action, drama, romance and remembering what has happened. So much going on that you can not put the book down. Loved the ending.

I really loved this series and this book as its ending made it complete. In this book we see Fiona escaping the bunker from the end of the last book. To see her find out more about herself, and have to work out things with Drake, Noah, Aiden and Nick. Things get very twisty on this crazy ride as they go to save the pack, and also very steamy at times throughout this book too. To end in such a great way that each character deserves especially Fiona.
The third and final book of the series. This one starts off with a lot happening as the previous left is needing more. Fiona is running for her life but why and with who? The story works hard on the relationship she has with her men. Nick will bring a lot of tension to her three wolves. Can she hold them together and keep her heart from breaking? But they must work together is they are to save the pack and to stop a danger that would see them all destroyed. The heat in this one is scorching.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters are great and well thought out .the story is well written. Will they be able to deal with the past catching up . And can they finally get rid of the bad guy. The story is the last in this series. It is a great series and well worth reading

This has been a wonderful series and this book wrapped it up very well. Fiona finally comes into her full powers, needing to bond with all four of her mates. Now the four have to learn to get along with each other. She also learns she is part-witch. This series was exciting from start to finish and I’m sorry to see it end.
First off if you enjoy these type of books the story line is right on par with others in the same genre. That being said I only gave 4-stars because the FMC was just a little too aloof when some things were right in front of her face so to speak and it could have used an epilogue or forward to at least tell the reader how some things ended
Great End to the Series! - Audiobook Review 🎧 This is the third and final book in the “Howling for Her” series. Fiona now has 4 mates and is learning how to use her magic and there is a fight to win. This story is packed with emotion, action, danger and heat. You don’t want to miss the end of this story. The cast of narrators did a great job on this book! #AudiobookObsession #TheFlock
Book 3 of Fionas's story picked up where the last book left off. It's amazing to see how much she changed from the start of the series. She has finally come into her wolf and her magic, and now the final battle begins. I enjoyed seeing how the author wrapped things up in the end of the series. The narration was helpful in giving each of her mates their own voice. #TheFlockVIPReviewTeam
This was a fab finale and it really wrapped up the story well. Action, danger and emotions kept me glued, beginning to end. So much to enjoy with this series and I look forward to what's next by this author.
I don't usually go for serials, but this one was exceptional! Michelle Ziegler couldn't have fit ALL of this huge, epic, tale in one book. It would have been Way too long. Loved them all!
Two words. Great Series. The third and last book in this series certainly doesn't disappoint, and the revelations that come, wow! Love the ending, and of course, the characters are awesome, complicated and unforgettable.
I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had an awfully hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!
They all have a long future according to the goddess, I love the characters and the storyline and hoping for more. Also hoping for a spinoff with Rae, a girl can hope. I love it!!
Fiona finally finds her purpose and with the help of her now four mates is ready to take on the world. The future will be worth fighting for if they can overcome the present alive.
Definitely a good book. Great twist. I think the author could do more with this series and added more details. It started to get hard to imagine the characters and the story Spicy level is probably a 2.5. It's a vanilla RH.
