Blaze was the eleventh book in the Devil’s Nightmare MC series by Lena Bourne.
I really enjoyed Blaze and Misti. Blaze was a patched member of the MC and was prominent in Colt’s book (book ten). Blaze and Colt grew up together in a small town. They left and joined the MC together never to look back. Misti was Stormi’s twin sister (Ace, book nine). We met her briefly through Stormi’s plight and Blaze began around the same time Ace concluded.
The MC storyline continued from the previous books with some new twists. Simultaneously Bourne told the tale of Blaze and Misti while unraveling both their pasts and merging them into the MC storyline. It was an interesting perspective. Sad at times but also suspenseful.
All in all, it was a quick and enjoyable read.

This is a well written book with strong characters and a hot chemistry. The author brings Blaze and Misti's story and takes them on a journey toward their HEA but not before some rocky times they will need to overcome. With hard work and the help of family and friends they get past the heartbreak and pain and find their happiness. Loved and highly recommend.

Captivated my attention instantly, leaving me no other choice but to devour in one sitting... I simply loved this story and cannot wait to see what comes next in this series...

Misti is a young woman who has faced death far more than anyone should, and Blaze is biker who had a difficult childhood.
At the beginning of the story Misti has recently had life-enabling heart surgery, and this time the prognosis is good - she can now live a relatively normal life (is there is such a thing). Blaze’s future is tied up in his past.
Misti heads off for her first evening out, reconnects with Blaze and life really starts for them. Blaze has to face up to his demons, and Misti is the person who has his heart, and stays him.
This book is ‘gentler’ and sweeter than I expected, although there is bad-boy action as well.

I am torn about this book. On the one hand, it's a solid love story (FYI, it's insta-love) set in a good backdrop of bad guys getting what's due to them. On the other hand, I never really connected with Blaze and felt his pain. Because of that, I wasn't cheering for Blaze to come out the other end. There was no stress so I wasn't looking for the relief of a happy ending. I really liked Misti and her positive outlook. When she did some monumentally stupid things, I understood her reasons based on her backstory. The writing is good and I was able to picture the scenes being described. I do tend to nitpick so there are some things (like a change of clothes) that bugged me but they weren't necessary details for the progress of the story. The author did a solid job of explaining why Misti would be important to Blaze and his family. I liked the mystical element to the story and Blaze's grandma was a solid addition to the cast of characters without having to be a cutesy old woman. I felt like Blaze's father was a weak addition but necessary in order to close the loop of Blaze's story.

This is the 11th book in the storming "The Devil's Nightmare MC" series., I wasn't sure that I would like this series, it is not my usual genre but I found that I really enjoyed it.
The story is of two young people who, for different reasons, had expectations of dying young but who found strength in one another.
Gentle, brave Misti had spent most of her young life facing death from an incurable heart defect until her devoted sister, Stormi found Dr Jay and his revolutionary surgical technique, this was to change Misti's life, it wasn't perfect but Misti was determined to sample all the things that she had missed.
Meeting Blaze who rode with the cut of the Devil's Nightmare MC was to change Misti's life.
Blaze was a troubled soul, he had left his home to escape the bitter feud between his family and the Snakeskin MC that had gone on for generations.......but he couldn't escape, the Snakeskins tracked him down and many of his blood brothers were killed, would the Devil's forgive him ? would they believe him or would they blame him ? Blaze was prepared to die to put things right.
Brave Misti was the love that he had never known, he taught her love on a different level, a level that she never thought possible and she wasn't going to loose it, Misti would fight for her man but would his unforgiving father ?
This is a gentle love story laced with violence and intrigue with just the right amount of mysticism and superstition, a really enjoyable story

Bourne wrote this wonderful book about life. Yes, the MC is a part of it, but it is so much more. Blaze has been a part of the Devil's Nightmare MC for three years. His road name, also his nickname at home, fits him to a tee! He burns brightly, and feels every emotion. When he sees Misti for the first time, he is utterly speechless and entranced. When he finally has the opportunity to get to know her, he does not hesitate.
Misti has led a sheltered life due to her failing heart. All of that changes when a new doctor performs surgery to correct the issue. When she goes out for the first time, she connects instantly with Blaze. Readers, the way these two are connected is incredible. They connect in the way soulmates do.
While Blaze is on a date with Misti, the MC clubhouse is bombed, killing and seriously injuring many. Blaze takes this as a sign to return home to finish a longstanding feud. Of course, Misti does not let Blaze go alone. Together, they embark on a journey full of emotions, and first times. It is pretty clear they are keenly aware of each other at all times.

A pretty good book. You remember back in Ace's book what got Stormi in trouble with that other MC? The stolen money and what it was for...her twin sister's heart surgery. We knew at the end of that book that her and Blaze was going to have a story of their own and this is it. I think recovery was a little over the top... don't think she would have survived it if what happened in this book really did happen.
Blaze started remembering stories from his grandmother's beliefs of omens. How she dreamed of the white lady. If there really was a such thing then Misti fit the description. White blonde hair and skin so pale that it was like she glowed. Maybe some omens really are real. Grandmother said it would be the white lady and a man who would put an end to the fighting between his family and the family on the other side of town. Nobody went to school or barely left from behind their walls.... their compound. Honestly.... his family is weird.... I'll let you see how much so.
This is the last book of this series but there is a spin off that's already started....New Generation. Guess there people start getting busy and spitting out some kids...lol

Wowbthe emotions are on high in thisnstory. Misting has livedbher life fearing an impending death sentence. Her sister finds a miracle for her. She has a heart procedure that allows her to live. She takes life by the horns and decides to experience it to the fullest possible. Blaze has had a rough childhood. He has left home and his past is following him looking for him. He meets Misti and there is an instant, intense connection. Whilenhe is out with herbon a date hisbclubhousebosbblown up and he decides to go back home and end everything once and finally. Ride along on this intense journey of enlightenment. Great story with great characters.

Wow this is a brilliant read that you won't be able to put down.
There is an instant connection between Misti and Blaze when they first meet but she is only just starting to live her life as she had heart problems but after her last surgery gets her chance at a normal life.
I love how they are together but when his past comes looking for him and causes deaths in his new family, the Devils Nightmare MC, he knows that he has to give his life to save theirs.
Can Misti stop him from dying?
Full of drama and plenty of emotion but can they get their hea.
A must read in a brilliant series.

Mysticism and Destiny
Interesting approach with mysticism and emotional connections intertwined with action. I did find the book slow to start and think not reading previous installments in this series may cloud my view of this book. I did not feel the camaraderie I expected from a MC book.
Misty is starting her life after having a death sentence hanging over her due to a heart condition. Blaze fears his end is near due to a family feud finally catching up to him. The book tells the story of how Blaze navigates this with the light he believes Misty brings and all that has been foretold.

Finally Blaze and Misti get their HEA! It has been a long time coming but finally! I was a bit on the ledge with how things were going but I managed to lower my heart rate and sit back and really enjoy these characters. Miss Bourne brings this story to life and with it the characters. So much is happening right form the first word written, but fear not Miss Bourne has enveloped us within her story and what a story it is turning out to be! Pull up a seat and get to know Blaze and all of the characters who will start your heart and engage you in a story worth your time. Love this series!

Due to a medical condition Misti has spent her life having to be protected and unable to have the same experiences as everyone else. A miraculous surgery has given her a second chance and she is determined to grasp it with both hands and that starts with Blaze.
Blaze is a member of the Devils MC who is drawn to Misti from their first meeting. When tragedy strikes the MC and he believes it is because of him he is determined to right the wrongs of the past however this is one journey that Misti will not let him take alone.
Intrigue, surprises and heat as two characters fight for the love and life they both deserve.

This is the 11th book in this series and is Blaze and Misti's story. Blaze has been a member of the Devil's Nightmare MC for 3 years and is instantly drawn to Misti. Misti after had a sheltered life because of a medical issue, gets a miraculous surgery and decides it is time to live her life. And she wants Blaze to be in it. When Blaze's past catches up with him he is determined to stop it and Misti is determined to be with him every step of the way. Good book, I enjoyed it.

A fantastic story
I am thrilled that Blaze and Misti both finally got the HEA that they deserved. It took a lot of work, miracles, and terrific friends and family to make it happen, but not without many risks. I'm glad that there is going to be a new chapter to the Devil's Nightmare MC, and excited to see where they'll go from here.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

This is another great book from Lena Bourne. This author knows how to get her readers attention and keep it. This book is filled with rollercoaster of emotions. There is suspense, action, angst, romance, and some crying while reading this book. I have read every book that author has written and has never disappoint me. Will highly recommend reading this book!

Ever since Blaze set eyes on Misti he knew she was different than other girls but now his past has followed him and and to stop more deaths he needs to go back home and finish it but Misti wants to go with him.
Fabulous story following on from Ace and Colt, it is action packed and one I could not put down.

3 1/2 Stars from me. This book was a bit of a mixed bag for me. Although I liked Misti, an optimist that always looks for the positive in everything and most people, due to living with a heart condition, Blaze was a less defined character for me. Overall the book was well paced, steamy, had a few twists along the way. Just an OK read for me.

I’ve been reading this author’s books for many year and I always enjoy them. This story is about Blaze and Misti. We first met Blaze in book 10 of this series titled: Colt. Blaze and Colt grew up together in a small town and both joined the MC together at the same time. We met Misti in book 9: titled, Ace. She was Stormi’s twin sister. There are some unexpected turns in the storyline that were interesting. I’ve enjoyed this series and I look forward to the next book.

This was a great story between Blaze and Misti, he is trying to out run a family feud, only to have it follow him two years later. Misti has always had to be careful and play it safe. When she finally gets the surgery to fix some of the problems, she is ready to start living for the first time. Blaze is just the guy that is going to show her the what she has been missing out on in life.

As expected another incredible book by Lena Bourne. Blaze and Misti's road has been rough and painful. When it seems things are looking up, another obstacle is put in front of them. Will they finally get their HEA and be able to just share the deep love they have? The answers are right at your fingertips in this latest installment of Devil's Nightmare MC, Blaze.

There is sadness and obstacles throughout life and you can either pull yourself up which is hard to do sometimes or you can fall into the never ending black hole. Misti is pulled herself up and is definitely a survivor. It's always good to have a rock to help you.

Talk about an emotional rollercoaster. These two have had a lot of obstacles, pain, risks and so much more against them. Misti is a strong brave woman who fights to find her way. Blaze’s past comes back to haunt him. Will the two be able to get through all the pain and drama? Suspenseful

"Blaze" is a great addition to the "Devil's Nightmare MC" series. It is a stand alone read that is nicely developed and very intriguing. This is Blaze and Misti's incredible journey to happiness. It is very addicting and I love the characters. This story has some violence and drama but is full of emotion.

While not my favorite book of the series it is still a good read. There is romance, steam, danger, suspense, and a HEA, but I did not really connect with the main characters. It was probably just me as the book was well-paced and easy to read.
