My mother called me Demon before hitting me. My dreams are made of fire... I am getting used to being rejected. No one really wanted me, starting with my mother, my foster family and my fated mate. I don't understand what is happening in my dreams. When I get scared, a beautiful wolf made of flames protects me. Fire doesn't burn me. My name is Scarlet and I am a survivor, the scars on my wrist and throat are reminders. I grew up in a trailer park with a mother who got drunk and beat me until the fire wolf came and the home of my suffering turned into flames and ashes.
The foster system didn't treat me any better. As the years passed I started to believe what the therapist said, that Sparky, my fire wolf, wasn't real and only a figment of my imagination. Everything changed on the day Mountain Man saved me from the mental asylum. I was locked in a place where they did experiments on people like me... Shifters. I am a shifter, a wolf shifter but not an ordinary one. Mountain Man became my teacher, my mentor and so much more. He is a wolf and I opened up and trusted him only to be rejected by the one who was perfect for me. Scorned, hurt and broken hearted I join the Shifter Nation, the wolf shifter pack who protects the weak and orphan shifters. I am a weapon, an assassin who hides her fire wolf from the other "normal” wolf shifters. After Mountain Man gets kidnapped I am the only one who can save him. Risking everything, I throw myself into danger for my fated mate who rejected me. But who is the other mystery shifter I saved? I could have sworn that he had an ice wolf next to him. I am a target now, the last fire wolf, turned from the hunter into the prey. My connection to Ziggy the loner and Kyle, the son of the Alpha of the Shifter Nation doesn't make things easier.
This story features a wild FMC who battles her own darkness, fears and inability to trust others.
This is a why choose reverse harem novel with wolf shifters and demons. Scarlett is a potty mouth heroine who fights mental illness and the urge to inflict self-harm. Fit for mature readers 18 + Cover by Luminescence Covers.
AI Slop Cover Art. AI Slop Writing. Hypocritically angry at people on FB for review bombing her poorly "prompted" works. Defends the use of AI in writing that notoriously creates deluded and nonsensical fiction at the cost of our environment. An insult to creativity and authored works alike. It saddens me there are good reviews of these books as it means some people didn't even clock it was made by a robot. Avoid this person at all costs.
Not a fan of how the author is treating readers! Also do we call her an author if she uses ai? I think we need a new word for people like Kitty who don't write their own "books"
Demon Rejected is the first book in the Fire Wolf Saga by new author Kitty Siberia. The story follows Scarlett as she struggles through some hard times and discovers that there is something more out there, that she is something more. There are dark themes in this book that may trigger some, Scarlett struggles with mental health issues and goes to some pretty dark places but she also discovers a stronger side of herself that she didn't believe existed.
Not gonna sugarcoat it, Scarlett has had a pretty crap life. She never had anything for herself, was physically and emotionally abused by her mother, survived horrible foster homes, and then was sent to a mental asylum. While things do look dark and Scarlett struggles but she manages to survive all of it. However, it doesn't make trusting people easy add in her mental health problems and that makes it hard for her to open up to people but she is trying. Scarlett has gotten stronger emotionally and physically, due to a change in luck she meets other shifters, learns what she is, and gets a real chance at a better life when she gets involved with Shifter Nation, an organization (pack) devoted to helping shifters.
There are three possibly four romantic partners in this reverse harem. There is Matt, her mountain man and savior, Ziggy one of her best friends, and Kyle the son of the alpha and they all have their point of view represented. Matt makes made decisions and needs to work on communication, Ziggy is totally cool, he understands Scarlett in a way that no one else does, and Kyle is not what I expected from the alpha son, I don't know much about him but he has possibility. Scarlett has never known love, imaging trying to figure out relationships, how to show love, being closed off, and it's a mess. I love Ziggy already, Matt has a lot to work on and I'm wondering how Kyle is gonna break through Scarlett's defense enough for her to really see him, small steps have been taken but I'm ready for the good stuff.
This story has a few unique aspects that make the story interesting, the mixture of shifters and magic and their history is a little different than what I'm used to and I liked it. I would love more information about the pack, about the magic shifters, about their history. Then another supernatural was just touched upon and I want to know how that will entwine with the rest of the story.
Overall I enjoyed Demon Rejected, I think it had some dialogue issues but the story really pulled me in the last fourth of the book. My favorite parts were seeing things from the guys' perspective, it gives me better insight when I get to hear from multiple characters. Demon Rejected had magic, mates, madness, and mystery, I am very curious as to where Scarlett's story will go next.
Scarlett has had a rough life. From an abusive mother, having people diagnose her as a pyromaniac and send her to an asylum, she's had it rough. When she is rescued by Matt, she finds herself thrown into a world she didn't know existed, and romances she never thought possible.
I have to get this out first: I could NOT stand Matt. He was great in the beginning, but after what he did to Scarlett, I was hoping they never ended up together. What he said was uncalled for, and went beyond trying to keep his distance.
With that being said, the story was great. The writing could have used a little work, added some details and more dialogue to break up the monotone of the story. But the overall story was unique and kept me interested the entire time.
Scarlett is a great character that has some depth to her. The scenes she has with some of the characters are very steamy, although confusing when she immediately leaves.
This was such an amazing book. When I first read the book description I thought it sounded good but, I don't know... maybe I was in a weird mood when I read it, it seemed alright.... how wrong was I?! This was soooo much better then just alright, it was great! I stayed up way past my bed time to finish it, I just couldn't put it down. Now I'm not so patiently waiting for book two.
Scarlett is the FMC and she has had one hell of a life. *Trigger warning for those who can't read about self harm and attempted suicide. This girl is a survivor, but still struggles with her past. Scarlett is an amazing character and I can't wait to follow her growth as the series progresses.
Possible spoilers ahead....
Kitty Siberia did a wonderful job writing these characters and the book as a whole. I defiantly would recommend starting this series.
I really enjoyed Demon Rejected, it was a super creative and original paranormal RH. I can honestly say I have not read a take on shifters that’s quite like this one, it was refreshing and new. Scarlett is a fire wolf who knows nothing of shifters at the beginning of the book and she really makes a huge change by the time this book is over. She’s a FMC who really makes you feel protective of her because of all the awful things she’s been through in her life. Her guys are quite a mix and I get the feeling that we may not have met everyone yet. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this series progresses and what’s best for Scarlett!
Trust is hard, especially when you’re always getting burned. Even though Scarlet is a fire Wolf she finds it hard to trust anyone and constantly has her walls up. She grew up thinking/being told that Sparky is just a figment of her imagination but she soon finds that she is so much more. Finally finding trust and letting her walls down quickly becomes something so painfully that she may never trust again. She takes that pain of the rejection and turns it into the fire that she needs to grow as not only a person but as a shifter. Enter Ziggy and Kyle and “blue eyes” and we just might slowly be seeing those thick walls start to crumble. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

This was an entertaining story. It was one of those books where you realize that you are nearing the end of the story and are not ready for it at all. I enjoyed the different take on the shifter storyline. Scarlet is a rare fire wolf, perhaps the last one on Earth. She had no idea that she was a shifter until right before her 18th birthday. She had such a tough childhood and suffered serious abuse at the hands of her alcoholic mother before being carted into foster care. She is finally rescued by Matt, who turns out to be her fated mate. However that doesn’t turn out so well in this book. I’m hoping for better results in the next installment. Scarlet really makes remarkable strides throughout the book in becoming a stronger, more independent young woman. I really like the main male characters in the book, especially Ziggy!! I’m looking forward to reading the next book to see what adventures await the gang as they meet other “special” wolves with powers similar to Scarlet.

90 minutes is all it took! I could not put the book down, I hated the way Scarlett had been treat all her life. Then Mountain Man comes and I’m like yes this is her time and then he does that! What an a hole. I love Ziggy cannot wait to see more of him and Scarlett together.
Scarlett is a bad ass fmc who you can’t help but love. When she put Mia in her place I loved it, nothing worse than a dramatic jealous wannabe!!
I cannot wait for book 2 to see what happens with the pack and what is next in store for Scarlett and her many love interests!!

This book has an interesting concept of a "lost" type of wolf shifter. The main character is one of these rare types, but comes from a broken background. In this story we learn about Scarlet as she learns about who and what she is. While the characters and story are interesting, I found that the storytelling was a bit disjointed.
I never thought that there would be a day that I was reading rejected mate books. This was the book that broke that streak. I'm really happy that it was this book to do the trick. Of all the different types of books I've read over the years, rejected mate was always hard to read because I was so tired of reading about characters completely breakdown and in a sense almost self destruct in the most painful of ways. This book did that but it wasn't long. This book had our heartbroken heroine doing all she could to get stronger and to move on with her life. But since this was a reverse harem novel, we already know that there will be a decent amount of guys out there to help her get through life. I personally really liked this book and I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I even did a whole blog post about the book. So if you want to know my full thoughts, check it out.
I received a free copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really enjoyed this unique shifter story! Personally I haven’t read anything similar so it kept my interest throughout the book. I look forward to the next book to see where this story goes and of course to see who ends up in her harem.
A very unique shifter story, that keeps you wondering where the story is going. Scarlett had a very rough life, going from foster home to foster home, then finding out she is a wolf shifter. She is an amazing main character, very stubborn and powerful. After everything she went through, she was able to make a good friend in Cello, who is so sweet. This book has a little bit of everything, keeping you engaged. Be aware of the trigger warning for self harm and attempted suicide. I can not wait to see where the story is going. I highly recommend this different shifter story. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Demon Rejected is a great start to this new series. We meet Scarlett, who has had a tough life growing up, first with her abusive mother and then going from foster home to foster home. Scarlett is a sassy, stubborn, and fierce FMC. She had a tough life and has trust issues and is lonely and heart broken from being rejected by her mate. It was nice to see she was able to make friends with Cello and then there is the hot, sexy shifter men. I thought Demon Rejected was amazing and gave a unique spin on shifters that I haven’t read before. This book has everything in it! Rejected mates, sexy shifters along with plenty of action and steam. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
I love it! Scarlett is such an incredible character and watching her development through the book was amazing. I really can’t wait to see where this story goes! It’s absolutely got it’s claws dug in to me!
I wasn't sure what to expect but it was an easy read with great character development and a building plot that has me craving the next book. For sure an author i will be following!
First book I’ve read by this author but wow I enjoyed this book. Scarlett’s story just drew me in right from the beginning and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.
I was not a fan of the writing for this book. It felt very choppy; very short descriptions of scenes were given and then there was a jump to a different scene. There were several times jumps that were poorly explained, as was the plot development. The author starts talking about characters before they are introduced in the story, and I really don't much care about Scarlett. She's constantly reflecting on her looks and doesn't show much depth of thought, character, or purpose overall. Also, she goes on one mission, disobeys orders, and she's suddenly a legend? Same with what happened between her and Matt. It was ridiculous how the author chose to have that play out. Oh, and the v card thing. Lots of convenient plot contrivances. The author also needed to spend more time checking the plotting of the story; multiple times we are told something happened a particular way, but then Scarlett reflects on it a couple pages later, and the story has changed. This kind of sloppy proofing really pulls readers out of the story. All in all, I wasn't a fan, and I have no desire to continue the series.
🔥We meet Scarlett a young woman that have been through a lot navigate the new life as a Shifter and all the things that are going to affect her in this new life.
🔥Scarlett haven't had an easy life but she is Strong and have a backbone. She represent the normal young woman struggling with emotions and her only way to do it is not the best. Is so real how she shows to everyone that she is ok but when she is alone she is vulnerable and broken.
🔥Scarlett is very relatable. She doesn't know love because she have never been loved. It got me so hard because it was so well writen the you can feel her emotions. The time she finds a true love she get's rejected. Ugh that was hard I was crying with her. After that she don't open her heart again. She doesn't give trust easily she is always in attack mode. And is totally undestandable.
🔥It was amazing to see her develop through the book it was amazing. I loved that the relationship with the guys was messy because it was real she doesn't know what she feels or she have feelings so she is all over the place and don't know how to act. Also the relationship is not rush even when there is sex involve the emotions are slowly progressing. It was perfect. I loved seeing her being more confident in her self. Amazing.
🔥It was nice to see her relationship with Cello she have a conection with her and it was amazing to see that Scarlett had someone in her corner. I'm so looking foward to see more of them.
💁🏻♂️The guys oh the guys...
💁🏻♂️I have a love hate relationship with Matt first I loved him then I hate him and then I love him again. That guy is confusing. 🙃
💁🏻♂️Ziggy babe give me your number. I'll be wating for you. 😋
💁🏻♂️Kyle I just want to cuddle with you.... ok not gonna lie have sex and then cuddle.😝
💁🏻♂️Alessandro Alessandro I need to know more about you. And that accent. 😄
🔥Overall it was really good and It got me wanting more.

This was an interesting take on shifters. I liked the idea of Scarlett being the last of her kind and how that made her incredibly rare and special. We didn't really see much of her abilities or shifting in this book, but that's something I think the next book will expand on a great deal based on where Scarlett and her group of friends are heading at the end of this book.
Scarlett's character had a lot to deal with throughout this story, dealing with past trauma as well as being rejected and with finding out more about her past as she gets involved in Shifter Nation and their affairs. I admire her strength and perseverance with her training and how she thought on her toes for her first mission but I really do hope that she changes a bit as the story continues. Matt's rejection caused her to not open up emotionally with others in fear of more heartache, any true feelings pushed to the side. I actually started hurting for the guys that wanted something more with her because although their intimate moments seemed to bring a connection, she immediately turned nonchalant and aloof afterwards while they scrambled to figure out what was happening.
So far with the multiple POV, I'm really enjoying the different mate options for Scarlett. They seem like pretty great guys for her and have good intentions. The new ones introduced at least. I can't say that I care too much about Matt. His rejection was very confusing at the time because he was literally going to go through with the mating until he realized she still had her V card. His past and what kind of wolf Scarlett was wasn't a real concern to him at all until that very moment. It really made no sense to me at all. He's got a lot of groveling to do if he wants Scarlett to even give him a chance.
Overall this was a pretty interesting first book and I look forward to seeing what happens in the next book as the group is introduced to new kinds of wolves and as Scarlett hopefully learns more about herself.
Book 1 of the Fire wolf Saga Multiple POV, Includes childhood abuse, self harm, torture/experimentation, shifters, age gap, mate bonds, rejected mates, Virgin FMC.
The concept of this book is interesting, Scarlett had a rough childhood, abused by her mother she has spent her life alone, her only comfort is a wolf made of flames that comes to her when in distress which results in Scarlett being labelled as a pyromaniac passed from foster home to foster home. As her 18th birthday approaches Scarlett finds herself at an institution for troubled girls, at first glance her new home seems ok but all that changes when she wakes strapped to a table being tortured while her captors demand she shift. Scarlett is eventually rescued by Matt, a trainer for Shifter nation, an organisation of shifters that protects other shifters, he reveals Scarlett is actually a wolf thought to be an extinct fire wolf. From here it gets a little wobbly, Scarlett and Matt grow close and it turns out they are fated mates but things take a turn for the worse when Matt finds out Scarlett is a virgin so he rejects her thinking himself too old and she deserves more experience before settling down, instead of telling her this he says cruel and hurtful things pushing her away where she runs in to Ziggy who also works for SN who offers her a job so she leaves Matt to continue her training at SN HQ. Months pass and Scarlett grows close to both Ziggy and the Alphas Son, Kyle. She is eventually given her first assignment, Matt has been taken prisoner and Scarlett needs to go undercover as a stripper to find intel.
I wanted to like this book but I’m in two minds, the bones are good but it needs work and a good edit, the writing is choppy and jumps around a lot, I found myself going back to re read and fact check which was frustrating.
Hmmm….I loved the story but there was just something about the writing style, it just didn’t flow properly and was very choppy! It’s definitely needs better proof reading and I found the sex seems were a bit lack lustre….it’s hard to explain! Not much real detail and just a bit ‘Meh’
Was sick of hearing how “stunning, beautiful and gorgeous” she was, how perfect her body was and how almost every man fancied her (insert eye roll)
I thought Matt was awful to the heroine, no need to say those things to her to push he away! Ziggy was lovely but not much back story on him. Kyle seemed a bit of a ManWhore….it was this sentence that was gross for me “No matter who else I was fucking, it was like trying to extinguish a refinery fire with one single glass of water”….I prefer the potential heroes to not shagg other women once they’ve seen/met the heroine, he obviously couldn’t keep it in his pants!…and if I hear his description of Mia one more time I’ll scream…ya know like, how gorgeous she is…how fine she is even, though she’s a bitch and he’s not interested…if that’s the case then stop telling us how “hot” she is…I could give a flying fook thank you! Not sure if I’ll read the next book if the writing style is going to be the same…

First off let me say the idea of the book is good. Wolves with special powers like fire, air or water. A girl abused and afraid, committed to mental institutions for no real reason, and a mate that rejects her for no apparent reason around all make for a good story combined. Well, it didn't. I pushed through and finished the book even though it took me twice as long as normal to read. I had to stop and reread sentences multiple times to understand them or figure out the correct word instead of what was in the sentence. At first these errors were only here and there but after about 50% they were everywhere. Then came the changing writing style within sentences. Scarlett said then it was I said. Most of the characters had sections of their own points of view but there was nothing that made them individual. They all sounded the same. This story had all the elements to be really good. However, it fell short. Please get an editor, proofreader, or beta readers that will be honest with you about your writing.
I think this story had a lot of potential. The plot moved fairly quickly, sometimes a bit too fast. I think the story would have really benefited from slowing down a bit and explaining things or so that it would fit a timeline a bit better. I had to re-read paragraphs a few times to be sure of what I was reading. The story was interesting though, it was a bit different than the usual supernatural/shifter tropes, with a little bit of rejected mate thrown in.
I wasn’t sure how I felt about the main female character. I’m not sure if things just happened really quick and we didn’t get to explore her emotions and what happened enough though. I liked what she was and understood parts that she went through but some parts just didn’t make as much sense as they probably should have.
I would have liked a bit more world building, I feel like sometimes when the explanation of things was brought up it didn’t come naturally, I think it could have flowed a little bit more into the story. As well, I think a few more things probably could’ve been expanded on. Like the history of the organization, the shifters and their history and even the history and lives of some of the characters.
Overall, I do think this story had an interesting premise. I’m hoping more world building, character development and plot points will be expanding on in the next book.
This book was a bit rough to read. And not because it was bad, but because i feel like it was a rough draft. It had several spelling/grammar errors and it even tended to repeat itself in odd section's.
However the story itself was still good. I also think the pacing of the story was pretty good considering how little of plot we the readers were getting at the beginning of the story. So when things finally did get heated it all had built up enough for a main conflict.
Overall it was a good start that just needs some more time put into it to be great.
Trigger Warnings; Abuse Self harm Suicide attempt/thoughts Gore
*This is a reverse harem meaning the relationship is polygamous in nature and it is one girl with multiple men. If you do not like that I would not recommend this book for you.
This is my second read of Kitty's and the start of a new series "The Fire Wolf Saga".
Here we follow the life of Scarlett, starting from an early age where life is cruel and no one can be trusted. All except Sparky that is.
Scarlett is an amazingly strong character. The trials and tribulations life throws at her, will break your lil heart.
"Mountain man" came along and I had high hopes that he was going to change her life. Give her a reason to live, and let her truly breathe again..
There's love, then there's despair. A longing like no other. A love that was destined yet never came to fruition, and a need to lose that last little bit of her childhood. This book has it all!
Action and angst, closed doors and a need for control adorn the pages, whilst love changes to lust and needs come a calling. It's not the easiest book to read but there's a reason for everything.
Trust is never easy, especially when it's always broken there's only so many times you can get burned before the damage is permanent. The best way to survive is protected by walls so no one can ever burn you again.
Scarlet is a fire Wolf, even though she was always told her Wolf was just a figment of her imagination, however truths always have a way of coming out and soon enough she discovers she is so much more.
When her walls start to crumble Scarlet is hit hard by rejection and is filled with pain so raw she has to channel it into something before she breaks. She uses it to help her grow her fire and become the shifter she should be.
The arrival of three men, Scarlet walls begin to shake, will the crumble, will she let anyone in? In enough to get burned again??
It could be a good story but for me it lacked character development. The main character Scarlett has big breasts, tiny waist and nice backside. Pretty much we are reminded about her looks and how good looking she is in what feels like every other page. Other women are jealous of her and all the men want her. She gets rejected by her mate and 5 minutes later while completely naked gets a job offer from a "steaming hot" stranger. So basically she gets to work for an agency that rescues shifters bc she looks so "hot" and can giggle a lot.... Some of the scenes were confusing I didn't know what was going on until I read 2 or 3 pages and got someone else's POV.
