As with the previous books in this series, I think the author deserves 5 stars, because these are ripping good stories. Unfortunately her editing team let her down badly with many annoying editorial errors, misuse of words, extra words. I’m sorry, but when a book is poorly edited it makes the reading more difficult. I love the characters and their unique and powerful, emotional relationships. The author is clearly a person of depth. Well l intend to read through book 10. For me this takes motivation because I am severely dyslexic. So rest assured that this series is worth your time in spite of my nit-picking.

I LOVE the action, but the scenes in between battles get pretty boring at times.

Btw, there’s SO many characters. And we’re only on book 4!

3.5⭐️s! The end battle was AMAZING!

Quotes:

(Page. 56): I grinned at Daisy as her cheeks flushed red and she let him go. [Oh, she likes him~ 😏]

(Page. 187): Feeling tense, I did the only thing I could: I led my team on. [EEEK! She’s grown so much!!! *Happy Squeals*]

(Page. 205): “Did you just pick up a car?” I asked. “No,” he replied. “Two cars. I’m going… bowling.” [That had me HOWLING with laughter 🤭. The way the voice acted said it was SO FUNNY!!!]

A worth continuation of a good series. BUT it could be better. I read many of the LBPN authors series and its becoming more evident that they are not living up to their potential. The pressure to make the fast deadlines of a new volume every month is affecting the quality of work. As a group they have good and novel idea's but they are slowly becoming pulp fiction rather than the literary art their ideas and our dollars deserve.

The plot thickens honestly I wished the pacing was different and each book a bit longer rather than a lot of books in the series. I like the characters and the world and everything but the pacing and the way the plot slowly progress is not my favourite.
Still a fun series which I will definitely continue

Dragons love pizza?

Apparently so! This is an incredible story of prejudice and the fight to live within the constraints of civilization while having the freedom to live one's life as deemed appropriate. I continue to think this is one heck of a great series.

With Aella's army growing and Jacobs showing his face, I think it's about to get even more exciting. I can't wait to read what happens.
