More of a cheesemonger than a warmonger, Reggie never imagines leaving the Kingdom until the swashbuckling Princess Chelseanna has other plans. Can Reggie claim victory over marauding mermaids, gregarious griffins, and woebegone warriors, or will he bumble into buffoonery and fail the Princess?
What happens when you move books around from room to room? You sit down on the floor, open one up, start reading, and you get hooked.
Very clever and humorous writing! I kept on laughing throughout it. So glad I finally sat down to read it today.
I can imagine this being a great book to read to one's kids someday. Very fun and wholesome. The humor of it reminds me very slightly of Neil Gaiman's kids book Fortunately, the Milk!
Very much looking forward to more books from this author.
My 9-year-old brother and I read this together and it’s hard to say which of us enjoyed it more. The zany adventures of Reggie and the princess were a delight.
(3.5 STARS) A delightful, fantastical romp! I first got to hear this story section by section, as Catherine shared it during the 2020 lockdown. It was fun to revisit this adventure in a physical book format.
This is such a cute, fun, funny, wholesome read! I recommend for all ages. My aunts are retired teachers and I loaned my copy to 3 of them and they loved it too!
