People marry for financial reasons all the time, but it’s usually not to get their own money!Marriage settles a man or at least that’s what Zeke Bennett’s great-grandmother believed. Only a settled man will inherit her millions. Fast forward 70 years and the only settling Zeke wants to do is on a business deal. The opportunity of a lifetime is dangling in front of him, but poor Zeke doesn’t even have a girlfriend. Well, he does, but she’s his best friend and he can’t marry her—can he? Rachel Ingram is in love with her best friend, Zeke, but he doesn’t know it. Fortunately for her, she has a Team Ingram—five sisters with a plan for how to turn Zeke’s head and heart in Rachel’s direction. In a game that begins with lies and manipulation, Rachel must fight hard to flip her fake marriage to a real one. Will she discover God’s plan would have been better?

I am enjoying this series. The Bennetts and the Ingrams are close-knit families. Zeke and Racheal have been friends for a long time. When Zeke's great-grandmother's will stipulates he must get married to claim all his money, who's better for this than his best friend. He stupidly asks other women, but Rachael has been in love with him for a long time, so with the help and wisdom of her sisters, she suggests they have a fake marriage. He's already feeling her as more than his friend when the "red" dress has him seeing her differently. But like everything else, they are both slow to admit they want more than just friendship with each other. I cheered when they finally took that leap of love. Ultimately a nice story, and baby makes 3.
Zeke Bennet did not believe fat meat was greasy when it came down to his grandmother’s will. He either has to get married or lose a chunk of his inheritance, which he needs to sponsor a business venture he desperately wants to take on. After exhausting the women he's dated in the past, his friend Rachel offers to marry him. What starts off as a marriage on paper turns into something more when true feelings are brought to the surface.
I have yet to be disappointed by one if the authors books. She always has such a great writing style that has lessons as well as wisdom woven into the story. This happens to be one of my favorite friends to lovers romance this year.
I recieved a copy of the book via the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review
This was a nice wholesome book. I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it either. I think this is the first book in a series which its obvious there will be more stories. I felt like there were too many emotions from the different characters to keep up with. It almost seems like it was a book before this that introduced all of the characters. If not, I felt like the author was trying to connect all of the characters in this one book. At times it was too much for me to keep up with. It was still a cute story. I did get frustrated with Rachel because it seemed like she was being a door mat and just getting the short end of the stick. However it worked out for them. I will read the other stories in the series eventually.
“All He Needs” ..Excellent story!.. of brokenness, redemption with faith and hope. A life lesson, don’t judge the proverbial book by its’ cover! This relationship between the two seem improbable. Yet, Ms McKnight simultaneously liberated both Meisha & Jackson from their respective past disappointments to a life filled with healing, humor & humility they discover romantic love. Also, I absolutely adore Jackson Bennett & Gran Viv🤎‼️Finally, I commend Ms Knight’s approach developing her characters and plots for the Bennett family. No book I’ve read (to date) has been overtly sexual and or morbidly offensive. Thank you. Much appreciated🥰‼️
Ms. Rhonda, you got me hooked. Can’t wait until the next Bennett story, but these Ingram sisters and Bennett brothers are too good.
Zeke stressed me cuz he knew he loved that girl like a wife and what a wife she was. Rachel was naive, but not stupid and she was realistic for the situation she went through. I really liked her revelation at the end thinking of how she repented and saw her faults. Zeke came around and I was so glad when he finally did. They both deserved the beautiful ending they got.
Cute best friend to love Interest romance book. I could relate to Rachel wanting to serve God and honor Him by remaining a virgin until marriage. This was a pleasant change, because the story focused less on sexual gratification, and more on how the characters handled the changes developing in their friendship. Falling for a friend, especially a best friend is risky. Ms. McKnight did a great job helping Rachel and Zeke make the transition.
6/30/22 - THIS. IS. MY. LIFE. My phone and my home must be bugged.
"You're my BFF. I don't want to hurt you. Let's go to ___. I trust you. I don't want to ruin our friendship."
Guess I'll be wearing a dress next time I see him. He's not going to inherit millions, but it doesn't matter. I'm sure there's a "Serene" somewhere, but she doesn't matter either.
This was the first book that I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it. Rachel and Zeke are best friends. Rachel is in love with him and Zeke needs a wife or he will miss an opportunity, but he doesn't want to admit he is in love with his best friend. In the end they marry, but that's when their problems begin.
Rachel and Zeke were best friends and they are even better lovers! This is the reason you have to always be open and up front where love is involved. Granny knew what she was doing! I only hope Logan and Harper along with Ethan and Lauren find their happily ever after! I really enjoyed this read Rhonda McKnight it was really a great read!
I stumbled across this book and I fall in love with these sisters and bennett men it was wonderful to the beginning to end 😍 how he went to her sister to find his wife was everything and the part when she turned around and she was speechless she was pregnant omg amazing ♥️♥️♥️ I'm liking this series,♥️♥️♥️😍
Great book and great story line. The characters were well developed and the story took on many turns I didn’t see coming! I enjoyed it so much that I finished it within a day because I wanted to see how it ended! I love love black love! Well love of any color honestly bit it’s something special to read about a lasting ❤️ and Rachel and Zeke were destined for it!
The realistic relationship between the Ingram sisters and the commradie between the Bennett guys was so warm and entertaining. A clean interesting read that garnered a few chuckles and managed to warm up the room has me enjoying this series so much. Exactly what a reader should expect from Christian Fiction without it being 'preachy' 😇
I really enjoyed this story of two best friends who did everything together. He needs to be married by age 30 (which is in 30 days) in order to receive his healthy inheritance from his great grandmother. She's already in love with him. She agrees to marry him. They both say it's in name only so he can get his money. Then life happens.
The Bennett men is always a good love story. But there's a family of beautiful sisters that the Bennett men are just drawn to. Zeke and Rae are polar opposite, but an endearing friendship is tested. These men are easy for the wrong woman to love, but the right woman has to come with commitment and stick-ability to catch a Bennett.
Ever book gets better in this series. I love getting to know all these characters better in this own stories. I love how the author gives you hints to their stories in each book.
Rachel and Zeke's story is a beautiful from friends to lovers tale! With some relatable twists and turns along the way!
Honestly, this book has been sitting in my library for over 3months never find the time to read the book until now. I'm glad I did I enjoyed Zeke and Rae's story, I couldn't put the book down at all. This is not my first Bennett book can't wait to read the next one.
RACHEL and Zeke’s love story could only be spun by a master story teller. Rhonda McKnight, thank you for this wonderfully inspiring love story. I have read almost all your books and I have to say.......You are gifted!
Beautiful story! This book was a religious base romance novel. It had love of course, tenderness, respect, and determination. It was about friends that had been in love along. I love this couple. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
Beautiful story of besties connecting to become husband and wife. Rachel had me wanting to shake her and Zeke too. Loved the family and neighbor back story.
Best friends sometimes make the best mates orrr. Zeke didn't he was looking for forever and almost missed it. It seems Great- Grandmother wasn't so crazy after all.
Great read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Zeke and Rachel are best friends. Rachel has a secret, she in love with her friend. How does she get Zeke to notice her as more than a friend? This is their love story.
I read about four books this year alone about a couple who get married as some form of agreement for a short term for money and it is getting old no matter how you spin it, it all ends the same. Rachel behavior towards the end was real childish.
Rhonda McKnight has done it again! I loved the suspense of Zeke not being able to find his wife! Serene showing up was also a great twist! I’m taken with the series! Now on to Harper and Logan’s story! I can’t wait!!!
Zeke B ennett has it all money , A best friend, anew business venture in the works. What happens when she is about to loose it all? We all need a Bennett in our lives.
I enjoyed reading this charming book with main characters Zeke and Rachel. A good friends to lovers story that had a few twists and turns. I admired Rachel confessing her deception to God and then to Zeke.
This was okay.... not what I expected. Not horrible, but the writing was very vanilla. Not bc it was Christian, but the dialogue was not always realistic.
