I’ve been taken by a demon lord hellbent on ruling the world and he believes the only way to get the power he needs to do that is by becoming my mate.
But I’m never going to let that happen.
With the packs being destroyed, most of the alphas dead and creatures running loose on the world, I have to stop him. With the help of my mates, we will find a way to stop the creatures before it’s too late.
He might be a demon lord, but I am The Mother’s Chosen.
I am an alpha female, and I will save my pack.
18+ Dark reverse harem romance full with a sassy and sarcastic heroine who finds her match.
G. Bailey is a USA Today bestselling author of books that are filled with everything from dragons to pirates. Plus, fantasy worlds and breath-taking adventures. Oh, and some swoon-worthy men that no girl could forget. G. Bailey is from the very rainy U.K. where she lives with her husband, two children and three cheeky dogs.
We have the final battle with Lilith, Alaric, Caspian, and Eziel fully mated and a major power house. This storyline from beginning to end was unique, exciting and full of sexiness. I am still an Alaric super fan! He is just bad ass, funny and yes sexy. Caspian brings the humor and Eziel is the level headed one. All important to the storyline and the future of this world.
I Give this Book a 3.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 4.
Please make sure to read all the books in this trilogy.
HEA(?): Yes Relationship Type: RH> Reverse Harem: MFMM Heat: 3-3.5/5 Romance: 3-3.5/5 Pacing: Mid Fast, reads a bit faster than I was expecting. I did have an issue on no sense of time, how how much had passed so it was hard to follow in that regard. Drama: 3/5 Suspense: 3/5
I won't say I loved this story, because I don't. But it was entertaining for a one time read. It could have been spectacular especially as the storyline was quite unique but because of the rushed narrative, it fell short. More like a long summary than a novel if you know what I mean. There's a mistake I noticed in the end..dragon is called a 'he' when it was mentioned previously that dragon is female dragon. So 🤔
A brilliant finale to a cracking series. Not before plenty if plot twists and turns for Lilith & the guys (Alaric, Eziel and Caspian). Mixed in with all that was lots of steaminess too. I'm sad that this is the end but it was the perfect way to tie up all the loose ends. I just loved it
If there had been a to be continued I would have scrapped the series.
I know I had to wait awhile for this one to come out- but I don't think I had to wait so long that my memory of the story got blurry. This book didn't flow the way it should have for the wrap-up. I mean... The pieces are there, things do get resolved... But tbh by the end I was just frustrated. Did enjoy the series enough to read to the end tho.
The minor inconsistencies and such finally got to me, but still a good story
Once again - the biggest issue with this book is the INCONSISTENCIES. They've happened throughout the whole series.
1) (And this was an issue in book #2 as well) Dragon is a FEMALE. Eziel tells Lilith this in book #1. In book #2 apparently it was forgotten because about halfway through, Knight tells Lilith, "Surprise! She's actually a girl!" (Not actual quotes.) In the epilogue of this book, it says Knight went to visit Dragon and kept referring to Dragon as "he" again. Was it really so hard to remember the gender?
2) Book #1, Lilith was a bit jealous of Dove when she first met her because she practically tackled Caspian when he opened the door to their room for her. Dove implies she 'swings for the other side,' however, when she suggested playfully maybe she and Lilith could give it a go. In the epilogue of this book, she says she has a male mate. That's fine if she's bi, but that isn't what was stated in book #1. People can change their minds or find someone that doesn't fit what they thought they wanted, of course, but it was still something I noticed.
3) Going back to my previous issues with the other books. Now that I've finished this series, I know for sure. Lilith was trapped in a dungeon once, locked in a room another time, and each time she had her ring or medallion. The ring given to her by Alaric was supposed to prevent her from being locked in any sort of cage. To me, that means cage, dungeon, maybe even a room. So where did that perk come in? The ring from Eziel was supposed to help him find her no matter where she was. She was kidnapped at least twice, and they needed help finding her both times. Why didn't they use the power of the ring then, either? Overall, I'm not sure why they even claimed the rings had powers of any sort. In the end, they all came together to make her medallion (which, did they all disappear when that happened? Because later, Alaric is said to have kissed her ring. Oh well - it doesn't matter.), but they never did her any good, besides looking pretty and being sentimental.
So, overall series... 3.5/5. The ending seemed a bit quick, but at least it didn't drag on. The inconsistencies started driving me a little crazy. The story overall, however, was still good. Also, if you want a spicy story, this isn't it.
I just don't get this book. It was all over the place when trying to build the world but it was chaotically written. There were large pieces missing when the author tries to connect book 1 & 2. Others felt the same way I do when it comes to the book feeling like the author had either a split personality or two different people wrote the story. The switching back and forth in part of the story from a paragraph to a chapter to the next was confusing and left you scratching your head wondering if you missed something. With the main female going from having a crush on 1 and then she all of sudden has the hots for 3 with really a less than sizzling sex life. There was no chemistry sexual or otherwise between the characters which makes for a really bad romance genre. There were just too many inconsistencies and generally read like a YA romance without the sexy. So much potential just left on the table with this series.

The first two books in this series were great, and this book needs significant work. All the other poor reviews are spot on- there are whole sections that seem unedited. The formatting of paragraphs changes at least two times. Dragon is a girl through book two and most of this book but mysteriously changes to a boy at the end of this book. In the epilogue the number of mates changes from three to four. The transitions make no sense- one chapter ends with Caspian and Wren almost dying and the next starts at the mating ceremony with nothing being said about how the two injured parties were doing. I thought Wren was dead as she wasn’t even mentioned again until almost the end of the book. The resolutions to every single scenario in the whole book had so much build up throughout the series and we’re just concluded with very little thought. You could 100% tell the authors lost the passion for this series and rushed to release. At some parts it even seemed like they just released an unedited draft, very disappointing.
Oh wow... this book had so much going on!! It starts right when the last book ended where Lilith has been taken by Lord Dyrk. He plans on mating her in order to take her power. The three alphas- Alaric, Eziel, and Cas - who are her true mates are together after the last fight which Eziel and Cas almost didn't make it. They have to work with the Fae king to save Lilith. Once rescued, they embark to kill as many of the monsters they can. Then they have the final showdown with Lord Dyrk. Lots of crazy things happen but also wonderful... Lilith is finally able to officially mate with her 3 guys which was sooooooo sweet. I loved the ending which gives a peek at what happens years down the road.
I wholeheartedly recommend not only this book but the entire series!!
I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.
What a great ending! I have loved this series from the beginning, and I loved it until the epilogue of this book. Lilith is a fantastic character, full of bravery and dedication to achieve everything she wants. She is determined to not fail, and is always looking out for the ones that she loves.
The battle scene was great and I loved how it all ended.
There were many twists and turns that came out of nowhere, but definitely kept me on the edge of my seat, not knowing what was going to happen next.
I'm so glad I got the chance to read this novel, and this series, and I can't wait for more by these authors!
Ah what a lovely ending. Book3 had me in suspense and heartfelt moments throughout the read. Romantic moments balance the stark harshness of the war these characters have to fight. Leaving you less drained and more importantly less emotional. The book flows seamlessly, keeps you enamoured while reading. Characters growth is well planned, but some bits not elaborated enough. I wanted a little more vengeance on the bad but I understand it would have hinder the flow of story. Well written conclusion, ties up alot of loose ends and leaves you feeling happy and smiling. Easy read. Worthwhile read. Highly recommended series. Great pair of authors. Definitely reading one of there other series
Love the last book with fighting and defeating caspians dad who wanted power and then another power hungry villain as well but I love the steamy scenes between lillth and her three mates who are caspian Leo's lillths brother best friend and eziel and another one who is a Prince and alpha and I love how it shows lillth interacting with little kids before ending the war and lillth and her best friend having kids at the end but overall love the descriptive of the characters and the world building in the triology and having a mixture of creatures like wolfs, demons, sea creatures and I love lillths protectors dragon and Knight love them so much

She is determined to not fail, and is always looking out for the ones that she loves. There were many twists and turns that came out of nowhere, but definitely kept me on the edge of my seat, not knowing what was going to happen next. I was very exited to read this novel. and want to read more of G bailey but also more of Scarlett Snow
The first two books were amazing but this one was a let down. It was the first one on my list to read during my break from nursing school. I shouldn’t have bothered. I love the authors but you can tell it was rushed. I felt as though I was reading an outline of what the book was supposed to be and when and where things were going to happen. Nor what they should have published. If they had gone into detail and given the book more “meat” it would have been so much better.
The first half of this book has forgivable editing errors. However, the middle seems to be missing from the story. It’s like the authors each wrote half the book and didn’t bother joining the middle. Highly disappointing as it caused me to disconnect from an otherwise enjoyable book. The Epilogue is a disaster. It’s just error after error. Very lazy finish as the character information for many was incorrect or swapped. I love G. Bailey so this has been very disappointing.
I really enjoyed this series as a whole. It definitely has more plot than spice and that is okay. The story being told is worth it in the end. I like how the author left little clues for something’s that were going to happen throughout the series and this book. It helped me figure out things along the way. I am glad Lilith and her mates eventually get the HEA that they have been fighting for since the beginning. I like this series a lot and I think the authors of the series did a really good job on the story as a whole.
I am so unbelievably disappointed. I LOVED this series and this last book was so bad. First book 240 pages, second book, 306 pages, this last book, 149 as a final book AND that's not including the epilogue and experts from other books. So this final book, maybe 125-130 pages? So disappointing, it was so rushed after waiting for so long, it was so choppy and didn't flow together, it hasn't been edited at all and I just can't believe that was the conclusion to this series.
I enjoyed the story and was very happy that I could finish the series. However, the story had a lot of gaps and editing was all over the place with different number of mates, dragon chasing sexes pretty much any time it was mentioned, Anastasia was never mentioned again even though she was the first in Lilith’s pack. As I said I enjoyed the story and I hope there is a spin-off. This book just disappointed with all the editing mistakes.
Lilith and her men have the biggest fight yet against lord Dyrk. He has sent demons that he controls to destroy the world and wants her power for himself. Lilith has been told that one of her powers is to be able to command the demons so now her and her mates and on a race to weaken their enemy
I really enjoyed the ending to this series. And especially how you get to see into the future at the end. As after everything that Lilith and her guys go through, trying to stop Lord Dyrk.
We see them go through many twists and turns throughout the book and some steamy moments to. For us to come out the end in a way that they all deserve.
Oh I was so so happy to be able to read this third book. Absolutely amazing. I absolutely love reading the rejected mates books lately. This series caught my attention right in book 1. And I have loved it ever since. Great characters and a phenomenal storyline. Another book that you cannot put down and must read right away!!! No spoilers here. But I definitely recommend reading. Loved it.
I have loved this whole series but this one desperately needed someone who knows how to edit, there’s plenty of action, adventure, suspense, danger, twists and turns and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. I’m sad that this is the last of this series but the mistakes made this one a lot harder to enjoy.
HEA which is nice. Lilith grows so much! This book had less action than the last and I wish there were more about the fae king and that drama. I felt it was a tad rushed but overall the series was a good one. I wish caspian and Eziel had bigger roles as I felt Alaric became the main guy even tho the series started off as Caspian having more attention. Good read either way.
Huh. I'm a bit taken back. Typically her books are ones that draw me in and I don't want to leave. This one I couldn't connect to. It seemed rushed and not fleshed out. I read it and to write this review I couldn't really pull anything that was really memorable. I did give it a 3 because at least I got a glimpse of what happened to the characters.
At this point in the series you would expect better editing, the typos and inconsistencies bugged me. Usually these authors are better about that. The whole book just felt rushed - less action, more of a summary. I don't know. I just felt like it Wah-Wah, instead of a WOO-HOO! kinda ending.🤭

Loved the epilogue and the HEA, but there were parts of the story that just fell a bit flat for me. Sometimes things felt rushed and at other times I was distracted by editing misses. I love this world so I would have read it no matter what, but just felt like it was a little underwhelming.
I really like the way the book ended, it was a great read through these 3 books and I enjoyed the story ! I wish dragon and knight had been featured a bit more and I was confused because I thought in book 2 they said dragon was female but then called dragon he in this book. Maybe I misread it idk
What a sweet ending, a sweet but deadly read that was binge worthy. So addicting and I just could not leave. Book 2 and 3 I’ve read today that’s how amazing this series was. It’s a series of shifters and demons with a touch of fae, it’s everything you could imagine and more, it had its own uniqueness.
