I'm reviewing this entire series in this one post. Part 2 and 3 should have been one book. This series was better than I thought it would be. The first book set up how Nikki and Lucas met and the romance. The second and third book gave us all the drama that came afterwards when it is clear that Lucas never totally got over Nikki's lie from the first book and had trust issues with her ever since. The second half of this series takes us through the couple's strained relationship and the sexy and scary ways that Lucas acts out his aggression.

Bossy

This is a great read, filled with love, family and misunderstandings. Alpha men always make me want to read more. I really love the oldest daughter and her want to see her family stay together. Add this to your collection asap!

It was just “okay”. It seemed to be missing something. The story does contain some conflict but it felt incomplete and lacking. Hopefully the 3rd installment will tie it all together and fill in the void.
