Books and his nieces. Those are the two most important things in Nikhil's life. And it should be enough. Until he realizes how lonely he is and how anti-social he's become. When he runs into the energetic and feisty Evander his world gets turned upside down.
Evander is tired of only being wanted for one thing. Bunnies aren't known for lifelong mates, but when Evander runs into Nikhil he finds himself wanting the alpha. Forever. Even if the wolf constantly puts his foot in his mouth.
Can they open up and learn to accept the gift that fate is offering?
Bound by Fate is a 30k low angst mpreg romance with insta-love, an untraditional alpha, an adorable omega, steam, and a realization that opening up can be the best way to heal.
You never know what fate has in store for you. Ms. Snow binds us all in her tale of once again bringing two shifters together that would normally be predator and prey to each other in their animal forms. Nikhil only cares about his beloved books and his twin nieces. Secretly he longs for a mate. He wants what his brother has found already. Scars from his past keep him from looking too hard. Fate intervenes at his favorite place...the library. Literally throwing in his path Evander. As a bunny shifter Evander knows how alphas are, love em and leave em. As a romantic and bibliophile of romantic novels he wants what his species doesn’t believe in...forever mates and a close family. Both characters have their own baggage to overcome and emotions run high in this storyline. All the characters are well developed in the series, and we see the return of most of the characters from the first book. This one will make more sense if you have read it, but this can be a standalone. This is a beautifully written low angst novel with all the feels! You won’t be able to put it down. I’m ready to see who else fate sends a mate to with this group of lovable characters.
Loved... It... Nikhil has always been happy living with his two brothers work and his books he loves reading but since his brother Jasper found his mate and had kids he's realised that's what he wants, he's so lonely & lost but scared of what happened in his past can't believe he'll find his mate that his until he bumps into Evander who works at the library the chemistry is instant and can't fight the pull he feels towards him. Evander thinks Nikhil is a jerk when he meets him but can't deny that he's hot and the chemistry is so hot and sexy these two together are adorable Fated Mates loved it 💞💞
The second book in the series and this was a fun, sweet read. Nikhil being a wolf and Evander being a bunny were the perfect match for mates. The plot is engaging as we see these two try to make their relationship work and overcome the struggles they face. We get a bit of humour, sexy scenes, mpreg, fun characters and a whole lot of love. An enjoyable read overall.
Nikhil and Evander were made for each other, hence fated mates. They are perfect together. I loved this story so much. All the babies, the brotherly love, and reading about Nikhil figuring it all out.
This was so very sweet. Nikhil was a loner and not very good at interacting with people aside his family. Finding his mate surprised him so much that the poor guy didn't know how to act and managed to say the wrong things more than once. Evander was Nikhil's opposite and perfect match, sunny and sociable, feisty and snarky.
They were cute together and their relationship moved forward fast. Although short, the story was fulfilling, because Evander and Nikhil had a few bumps, some making up, a whole lot of sweetness and a happy ending, complete with babies.
Bound by Fate was a lovely story that kept a smile on my face.
Bound by Fate is the second book in the Nebraska Fated Mates series by Skyler Snow. This book is about Nikhil and Evander. I loved their story. It was sweet, sexy, hot and very well written. Can't wait for Tuesday's story.
A wolf & a bunny meet at the library. A match made by Fate.
What a stunning second book in this series! I was caught up in the story from the first pages. My old friends welcomed me back with open arms. I went gladly. Picking up where the first book ends, this features middle brother Nikhil. His nose always stuck in a book, he never thinks he'll find a mate. But when he knocks Evander down in the library and his wolf screams Mine. Mate, Nik realizes his lonely days are over. And it scares him. Omega Evander's bunny screams the same things. Scares him too. Predator and prey. Fate has a sense of humor. Come. Join Nikhil & Evander on their road to HEA. They both have insecurities to overcome. Nik will grovel...a lot; his mouth turns him into an idiot after all. Bonding over books is just the beginning. Yes, there is love & lust. The sexy times are hot... keep a fan handy! There is also a loyal friend and cute babies. Ooh you are gonna love this book! Please read the first book...Jasper & Grim's story. You will be glad you did. I can't wait for the next book. It's Tuesday's turn. This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
The other Alpha brother is the focus of the second book in the Nebraska Mates series. The bookish, broody, grumbly, antisocial Nikhil has a hard time interacting with others. His primary focus is books. He is a mainstay at the public library with brief reprises to work and help care for his twin nieces. He can barely lift his head from a book for any reason so it had to be a very compelling excuse to catch his attention such as an irresistibly alluring scent from a new Omega Librarian.
But once he does lift it and spies the white-haired gorgeous young man he can't deny the strong attraction though he gives it a really good try. He's not a social guy / Wolf so there's a lot he has to learn to woo "his" Omega. One thing involves making himself vulnerable and secondly not to be so snappy. Let's just say this was a very challenging compromise for the Alpha.
Luckily both he and the sometimes too confident Omega had great family and friends to assist them. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the release of the third book in the series.
In all honesty... liked the 1st book better. Hmmm...
I think, even though this one was a bit longer, it didn't give us the details that the first one did. Don't get me wrong, it was a cute read... I adore "other people's" bunnies! *grin*
Nik? I think this was where the lack of details came in. He spent most of his time up in his head and wasn't used to worrying about a "nice" guy. He just read and worked. I did get a twinge of jealousy over his room full of books, then I remembered my external hard drive and I was jealous no more! LOL!!!
I really am looking forward to Tuesday's story. He deserves someone extra special... I hope Ms. Snow doesn't let me down on this one! *fingers crossed*
Nikhil and Evander are quite a pair. There is so much tension between these two it's no wonder that the scenes between the two of them are so electric and steamy. I love the way that Evander makes Nikhil look inside of himself and grow for the sake of his mate. They make quite a nerdy pair and I love all the time spent in the library. I really enjoyed Nihil's character in the first book and so I was happy to see him get an HEA and Evander is such a cutie. I think that Parker was a great addition to the story as well. I look forward to the next book, I hope that Tuesday will get his HEA next but of course will love anything set in this universe. I absolutely recommend this book.
When your eyes meet as your browsing throught the isle of your favorite library.... Well that's not exactly how it happened. But there was a library involved.
Nikhil is a complicated Alpha with his own set of issues and Evander is the new omega in town. I absolutely loved the character of Nikhil even though he didn't always act right there was something real about him that just made me connect. Evander took me a while to warm up to but the relationship that he had with Parker I really enjoyed. Fingers crossed for a book with Parker 😉
This book was definitely a very delightful and heartwarming read. I loved both Evan (bunny shifter) and Nikhil (wolf shifter), however, Nikhil had some anxiety issues that he needed to deal with so he wouldn't keep hurting Evan by constantly avoiding him or pulling away. They were so cute and sweet together and the ending was awesome. I just love this series. My favorite part was when they shifted and ran together. Adorable.
I love reading a book about a book lover! More books need that. Nik was perfectly imperfect, I loved that he had anxiety. I loved that he wasnt the typical alpha that is perfect. Evander is independent and independent but also Insecure. So many people have used him just get off he doesn't trust easily. I want more of this series I love it
This was a really cute story about a bunny and a wolf. This time it’s Nikhil’s turn to find his fated mate. I’m really enjoying these stories and I can’t wait to see the third brother find his mate.
This was a sweet, fun story to read. Nikhil, a wolf, liked his own company until he met his fated mate--Evander, a rabbit. Enjoyed how predator and prey are fated mates. Good story and I love all the characters. I hope the next story is Tuesday--he is one of my favorites.
Just wasn't for me. The writing was good (editing and so on) but the story and characters just did nothing for me. I had a hard time finishing it and will pass on the third if there is one for Tuesday.
2.5 Stars ~ I’ve got a soft spot for rabbit shifters so Evander made my day. This is another cute story but with a little less depth to the characters which definitely detracted from it. IMO.
Bookworms are my favorite!!! I absolutely loved that both Nik and Evander adored reading, also that the big shy wolf fell for the strong little rabbit...sooooo cute!!! Adorable story!
This was a nice fated mates story, though it always kind of bugs me when a character wishes for their fated mate because it’s the one who will always love them but then they constantly have doubts. It just doesn’t add up and then really pushes the angst up and in a short story it gets tiring. Evander was as adorable as his skittish rabbit and Nikhil was constantly worried he would do the wrong thing. I don’t know, while the story wasn’t bad something about it rubbed me the wrong way.
I received a copy of this book and am giving an honest review
