Available only on audio: ten of Joel Osteen's most powerful sermons, recorded live at Lakewood Church!
The Bible clearly teaches that God came to earth in order to give us an abundant life. It was never His intention for you to live in mediocrity, just getting by. In this audio series Joel Osteen shares practical and applicable truths that will help you reach your full God-given potential.

Recorded live at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, these sermons are a distinctive and effective mix of personal experience and biblical perspectives on real-world challenges, including: Developing a habit of happiness The power of our thoughts Having a positive vision Developing loyalty and integrity Finding the courage to be different Don't let "good" be "good enough." You are uniquely and wonderfully made. You are God's masterpiece. You were created for greatness. God wants to bless you so that you can be a blessing to others.

I'm enjoying Joel Osteen's book Good, Better, Blessed: Living with Purpose and Passion so much more than The Purpose Driven Life. The author is great to listen to - he has a great sense of humor and his preaching isn't too "preachy" but just how to be more positive and the best person that you can be.
I love listening to Joel Osteen in the car. He always starts off each day by saving some type of joke or something funny. I laughed out loud several times. Love the bible verse type thing he says, where you say, "This is my bible, I am what it says I am, etc. etc." Love that! He's just a good preacher to listen to on audio.
He looks like a sheep, but underneath, he is a ravenous wolf! It's all phony. He is deceiving God's people. He starts out with pretending to pursue God, and end with his real goal for you- focus on success. Read KUNDALINI WARNING - Are False Spirits Invading the Church? By Andrew Strom. God showed me that Word of Faith is operated by the Kundalini spirit. Joel is a false prophet. This is a powerful spirit. It's a test. Read your bible. Kundalini twists the Word of God. Word of Faith tells you you need to tithe in order to be blessed. But where should you tithe? Is it definitely Joel? Do you believe in the fruits of their ministry? So he can get even richer while you stay poor. Does he not know what he is telling you is a lie? Or it's always God's will to give you wealth and health. What about Job? His story is our story, that we will lose things in this life. Doesn't mean we don't have enough faith. Read Jesus Goes To McDonald's by Luiz Alexandre Solano Rossi. Having a great life is a lie. When you become a Christian, the devil is after you. Everyday a battle, not a cushion. Or not to question those in positions of spiritual power. Yet Paul called out false teachers! Word of Faith movement is a bunch of garbage. If you accept it, you will, like me, have years of struggle, where you are looking for a "sign" God is with you. The only sign is His Word! They talk about not being "religious," as if an empty undiscerning mind ready to accept false doctrines is the Way to accept God. You must hold on to the true doctrine. Matthew 24:10-13 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. Once saved, always saved is a lie. To be saved, you must confess you are a sinner, that you put your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior and will submit to Him in all things, including every part of your life, and with His help, that you will stop sinning. The deception here is really great! The manipulation is subtle, but with the Holy Spirit's help you can detect it. Truth mixed with lies is LIES. The positivity, the blabbing out promises without faith, the holding God hostage- Sure you can hold God hostage, but will He really find no falsehood among you? Joel Osteen is bewitching you, and lulling you to sleep. Watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TB4QF.... See if these teachings really stand up to the light of the Word of God.
The chapters are individual sermons each with a strong positive message. Joel Includes many anecdotes and personal experiences which keep the listener engaged and wanting to hear more. This book offers a great deal of inspiration and encouragement to make small but mighty changes that will affect thinking and ultimately action. He does not offer methods per say but provides enough motivation to inspire change.
I listen while I drive every day - and I have loved listening to these short sermons on my commute... A great way to start the day... Topics that touch us all in one way or another, not deep doctrinally, but great reminders to reach higher, expect more from yourself, be happy, serve others... It's been a great listen... my kids will even listen...
Initially, I thought that this was an audio book; however, upon putting on this first CD, it turned out to be a series of messages that were given at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas.
There are many powerful messages on these CD's that will encourage, comfort and build you up, as you drive to work or listen in your home.
Short sermons by JOel Osteen who is called: America's voice of hope. I enjoyed these sermons very much because they were all scripture based and focused on being your best. Not listening to the negative of others but focusing on your best and knowing that Gods loves you and wants the best for you!!
Listening to Joel's sermons on my way to and from work is so empowering. I get into work happy, I get home happy. He's just very uplifting, and you can't help but feel inspired to be a better person.
I listened to one chapter every day to work and realized that if you take out the word God, this isn't about religion. This is about living a happy, successful and effortless life. Just the way I like it.
although I felt a little guilty listening to a preacher from another church, I felt uplifted and inspired to be at better person with his messages, he spoke on Values we can all use to better ourselves
I really enjoy Joel Osteen's sermons. Almost every one is something that everybody needs to hear. I listened to these sermons by Joel Osteen, which are more like Christian life coach speeches, not sermons.
