Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Winter Travers is a devoted wife, mother, and aunt turned author who was born and raised in Wisconsin. After a brief stint in South Carolina following her heart to chase the man who is now her hubby, they retreated back up North to the changing seasons, and to the place they now call home. Winter spends her days writing happily ever afters, and her nights being a karate mom hauling her son to practices and tournaments. She also has an addiction to anything MC related, puppies, and baking.
Ride or Die was the eighth book in the Kings of Vengeance MC by Winter Travers - and possibly the final book. The series was best enjoyed read in order.
We were left with a cliff hanger in the previous book with a betrayal. Travers unfolded the storyline, provided the backstory and brought Robin (Lynn’s best friend) into the mix. Travers also continued to combine some other MC series storylines for more intrigue. I recommend having read at least the first book of the Royal Bastards MC: Sacramento, Playboy, prior to Ride or Die. However, the timeline for Ride or Die was after the fourth book, Rebel.
All in all, it was a quick, action packed and enjoyable read. It appeared to be the end of the series for the Kings of Vengeance MC but its conclusion was a good segue into the next book of the Royal Bastards MC: Sacramento, Barracuda. I totally can’t wait!
Finally finding out what Core is up to! After the back and forth with Core, I was somewhat shocked about his betrayal to the club. Thankfully, we were wrong about things and found that Core had an ulterior motive to what he did. Robyn is loyal to her friend and the club that has taken her in, but when she meets Core and gets to know him and what’s going on in his life, she is determined to help him and get back into the MC’s good graces. While Core had good intentions, things were extremely messy and his brother was a lot smarter than we originally thought, and by the time they figure it out, it’s too late but thankfully he gets the MC to help, and he gets to take his brother down once and for all. The missing link is his brother’s right-hand man, and I think that we will pick that up with Barracuda’s story, which in reading this book I became extremely excited to see what happens after getting to know a little of his story and what he has gone through at Core’s brother’s hands. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Well, THAT took a few turns I didn’t see coming! Core gets his….what? Revenge? Justice? Vengeance? I mean, he is a King at heart, so maybe it shouldn’t have been so surprising to see the lengths he was willing to go to in order to keep the bloodshed to a minimum, but wow. His loyalty ran deeper than anyone thought possible. Add in Robyn and you’ve got a recipe for disaster or happiness, with not much possibility of anything in between.
Core had a lot going on and it was fabulous to finally understand what he did, why he did it, and what he was planning to do next. But Robyn didn’t originally factor into his plans. But when you fall in love, I guess plans are definitely allowed to change. The real question became whether or not these two would have a long or short HEA to look forward to together. That, combined with the mayhem of the women and the danger coming for everyone made this a story that I didn’t want to end. But it did end. And in the best way possible. So now I have yet another reason to want Barracuda’s story….
Last book in the series. This is Core's and Robyn's book. The most hated man who was in the King's of Vengeance is Core. Nobody really wanted him in the club or even give him a real chance. He got several chances but I didn't feel like they were real chances but of course he was hiding some really big secrets.
Robyn is the one who owns the bar that the club goes to a lot. She see's Core in the grocery and gets pretty scared because she knows of some of the things he did and knows the club is looking for him. Core needs to tell someone what is going on and try to get ears in the club. Is Robyn going to be his snitch?
Most everything is wrapped in in this series and even has a guest appearance from the RBMC. Several from the RBMC are mentioned in this series.
On to another of Winter Travers series. Hopefully there's not as many errors in the next book.
This book is full of twists & turns that you won’t see coming. We finally get to see what Core is up to, and believe me, you won’t believe it. This book starts off with a bang and doesn’t slow down. Loved every minute of it.
WHAT A ENDING!! I read this book in one sitting I couldn’t put it down. I had all the feels mostly saying to myself ”no f**king way”. It was a really good ending to a series.
He was a man that always seemed to be on the outside looking in. He’s finally found an MC where he feels comfortable and that they could be his family, but his blood family has made it impossible for Core to relax and enjoy his life or make a place for himself. He’s betrayed the Kings of Vengeance and has put a target on his back, but he’s doing for good reason.
She’s the bartender and friends with one of the ol’ ladies of the Kings of Vengeance. She’s pulled into their craziness by association. When she finds out that one of the brothers has betrayed the MC and now has a target on his back, she torn because she likes him, but she’s loyal to her friend and wants nothing to do with being the in middle of trouble. Robyn wants to remain loyal to Lynn, but she gets pulled into Core’s world more and more because now she has real feelings for him.
This is book 8 in the Kings of Vengeance and these bikers are dangerous, but their women drive them crazy with their book club and their craziness and their sassy mouths. When Robyn is put in the middle of her friends and the man that she wants, she has to make a decision and pray that it doesn’t come back to bite her in the end. When the danger comes knocking, Robyn does not run away, she stands by the man that is becoming very important to her and she won’t back down when she tries to get the Kings to listen to him before they shoot him. I really enjoyed this book and Core and Robyn’s story. Core has been in the series since the beginning and has been a character that has been iffy since the beginning, but learning his story brings perspective to him and I really enjoyed reading about him finally finding his path and his place in the club. I give the book a 4-star review and I am looking forward to more of the Kings of Vengeance Series to come.
Absolutely one of my favorite MC series. Ms. Travers never disappoints with her MC reads. They are suspenseful, action packed, sexy, romantic and have bouts of humor. Ride or Die, Book 8 in the Kings of Vengeance series has all of that and then some. Throughout the series we have a hit that Core is not what he seems. In Book 7 we know he has broken his MC brothers trust, stole from them and has disappeared. But why? Is he with the Kings or against them? In Ride or Die we get our answers and then some.
Core needs help to carry out his plans and finds it when he least expects it, when he bumps into Robyn at the grocery store. Robyn is a bartender and bestie to one of the Kings ole ladies. But is blackmail really a good way to get her to help? These two make a very unlikely pair but trust me the heat between them is undeniable. But can Robyn trust him, better yet can Core trust her to help him and keep his secrets?
Outstanding read. I strongly suggest reading the series in order for a truly better reading experience. I can’t recommend Ride or Die and the entire Kings of Vengeance MC series enough. If you haven’t jumped on board, do it now. It’s one ride you truly won’t forget.
Core & Robyn's story was a pleasant surprise, we found it to be a lot of fun. We loved Robyn's sense of humor and her overly large heart, willing to give Core a chance to explain his actions her took against his club, all the while falling prey to his dirty talking ways.
Core we found that he was full of mischief and teasing when it came to giving Robyn giving her a hard time, was his play on seducing his girl.
The mystery now unraveled as Core walks a tight rope when it comes to keeping his brother in his good graces and his manic episodes in check and trying to save the club that he loves. Loved to see that those who questioned his loyalty might be yet surprised.
Overall, we loved the chemistry between Robyn and Core as there was heat and passion, and they clearly fit one another. The old ladies of this club are awesome and made things fun, and they're awesome, and Robyn is hoping that the old ladies that she has come to love will still love her as she loves them and will not desert her when they learn of her secret. Core did what no other could but, it is enough to win back the hearts and the minds of his brothers and his club? Another great read in this ongoing series.
Let me begin by saying "This book is Epic". However to fully understand the story you have to read the series, also by Winter Travers. This book is about Core and Robin. Core seems to screw up at every turn. This time can he come back from it? After Core makes a huge mistake by crossing the club, he and Robin hook up. The sparks between the two are off the charts. However will his mistake keep him and Robin from having the happily ever after? We also get to find out what happens to Menace. Will Core meet his demise, or will he get his happily ever after? This book has lots of drama, epic love scenes and some humor. Winter Travers brings the characters to life, When reading her books it feels like you know the people. I recommend this book along with all of the other books Winter Travers has wrote. One of my favorite authors. What are you waiting for get the book and read it.
Holy cow, what a read this turned out to be! I had no clue what I was walking into, after the way Core betrayed the club, pretty much flipping them the bird on his way out; I wasn't expecting to get a book with him as the lead. But here we are, we learn way more about the quiet Core, who his family is and the reason behind his leaving the way he did. Core has a mission, and he is going to make sure that he completes that mission and hopefully on the other side he is alive but he knows that the probability of that slim. That's why Robyn coming into the picture is a hard pill for Core to swallow; in another life they would have been something great, something wonderful, now he has nothing to offer her. Will Core be able to pull off his version of redemption, or will he fail in the end? A great MC story full of drama, danger, violence, betrayal, and some really hot naughty bits. I give this 4 stars.
He betrayed the club. Why should she even talk to him? She shouldn't so why is she?
There is little I can say about the storyline without spoiling it for the reader. I can say it has all the characters fans have come to love. (if you are new to the series you will love them after meeting them). The "Book Club" with the ole ladies and a few friends--basically a chance to party and drink, if you aren't pg. The patched members who admit the women have them whipped, yet strong scary guys who live by their club motto.
There are surprises, revelations, danger, friends, foe. As always the steam is over the top. It isn't a long story--thankfully cause you aren't gonna want to put it down. Don't miss this one -- lots of questions answered.
Ride or Die is the eighth title in the Kings of Vengeance series, and I’d honestly recommend reading them all in order to get the best from this series. Core has been an enigmatic character right from the start, never quite knowing enough about him to know where his loyalties lie. After the ending to Blacktop Freedom, I was eager to discover his motivations, and although his intentions were good, his choices puts those he’s trying to protect at risk. The heroine has been a side character previously and I enjoyed getting to know her more. Their connection is undeniable, and this title has quite a few steamy scenes. With surprises, revelations, intrigue, and danger this is a great way to end the series.
After some bad choices Core finds himself on the outside when it comes to the Kings of Vengeance. He has a strategy to get what he truly wants but the one thing he didn’t count on was Robyn coming into his life when he needed someone the most but also at the worst possible time.
Although Robyn isn’t part of the Kings of Vengeance, she still has a loyalty towards them. There are so many reasons that she shouldn’t be with Core but only time will tell if her feelings for him are enough to make her stay.
A suspenseful and romantic journey that allows us to get to know Core and Robyn as well as catch up with men and ladies of the club that we know and love.
Trying to find your place in the World and having to deceive people you care about. This was the situation Core found himself in, knowing he was a King and also knowing who his brother was . Core goes against everything he holds dear just so he can get rid of his brother. Keeping the Kings safe was all he could do, then enlisting the help of Robyn was the best thing he did. Falling in love was a great and gave him the determination to make his goals complete. This was a great book well worth the read, I recommend it with a 5 Stars review
Ride or D by W. Travers is book eight in the Kings of V MC Series. Yes, it coukld be read as a stand-alone. But there are cross-overs from previous books, so is the story best read in order. Robyn works a sbartender and her best friend is an old lady. So she has ties to the KoVMC. Especially with an ex-member. Core left the MC and is now with another mc, sorry not sorry, no spoilers here. He plays a dangerous game and without blinking an eye, he pulls Robyn into his drama. A fast paced, breathtaking read that gives all the feels, 4,5 stars.
Oh holy smokes! Just what I've been waiting for... Core. He's intrigued me from the start of the Kings of Vengeance series and I was not disappointed. I loved getting to dig a bit deeper into him throughout this read and his spark with Robyn was great! She's sweet, brought on smiles and she fits so well with the ol' ladies, they of course warm my heart and have me laughing! There's great intensity and nail biting, the loyalty with the brothers and and all around great read. I have absolutely loved this series.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This series keeps getting better and better. I knew Core was going to be a good guy, even when the Kings of Vengeance had their doubts. Wish my book club was as cool as the old ladies book club, but there you go. The action, comedy and hot love is why I keep reading this author. She always makes me ride the emotional roller coaster and I keep getting in line to ride again with every book she releases. Kings of Vengeance are on the ride of their life, for the life and they never lay down when confronted--be it by love, enemies or just a comical situation. This book did not disappoint.
Ride or Die is full of angst, action and vengeance and had me holding my breath as I waited for all hell to break loose. Robyn is sweet, funny and strong. She’s stuck in a tough spot her love and devotion make Core a better man. I had such a love/hate relationship with core, but things come full circle for him and my heart really went out to him! Ride or Die will keep you on the edge of your seat and get ready because it’s an explosion of betrayal, desire, brotherhood and love!!
OMG This whole series has been fantastic and Ride or Die did not disappoint. I kept hoping that Core was a good guy. The connection between him and Robyn was great. I love how she stood behind him. What a great ride with the rollercoaster of drama this book entails.
I have said it before but will say it again…I LOVE the “Book Club”. Those women are hilarious and I love the comments of their men when they witness this group.
I highly recommend this book as well as the rest of this series!!
That was a little interesting and took a turn, pulling together the Royal Bastards and the Kings.... Core has been a little on the outside since the start of the series and now we find out why! He's intrigued me from the start of the Kings of Vengeance series and I was not disappointed. I loved getting to dig a bit deeper into him throughout this read and his spark with Robyn was great. Their story was a great way to round out the Kings of Vengence and I can't wait to see where the Royal Bastards go from here!
Ride or Die gives us Core’s story that will have you holding your breath not sure if he is the traitor he appears to be. This story has secrets unfolding, vengeance being planned and an unexpected romance blossoming. His story is angsty, filled with drama and chaos and action packed. The chemistry between Core and Robyn is electric and one that you don’t see coming. There are some laugh out loud moments with the ol ladies of Kings of Vengeance as they hold a book club night. An entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable addition to this very addictive series.
He is determined to save his friends or die trying. She has memory problems. Drawn together, but now on opposites. Will everyone forgive him? Will she get her Happy Ever After?
Have to say, I think this was one of my most anticipated books, just because you couldn't help but question why in previous books. I loved how there was so much more to him then the others thought and that he was determined to do the right thing. I loved how she allowed him a place to let the stress go and work everything out. Great read!

This is the eighth book in this amazing series and is Core and Robyn’s journey. Robyn has loved Core and stood by his side, and if anyone needs the MC brotherhood and camaraderie, it is Core. The chemistry between Core and Robyn is combustible and undeniable, and this is a story which had me on tenterhooks throughout. This is a well written story which is filled with emotions, angst, humor, witty banter, vengeance, suspense, danger, action, and love, which leads to a riveting and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Ride or Die was so good, this story is filled with angst, love, humor, tears and Vengeance. Absolutely love Robyn, she stood by Core's side and showed him about love. I have a love/hate for Core but Travers shows us that Core might do crazy stupid things but he always has the best interests at heart. Robyn and Core have a strong relationship from the beginning and it grows into something beautiful. Great addition to the Kings of Vengeance Series. Happy Reading!!
Ahhhh! I have had a soft spot for Core since the beginning. I feel like he's the brother that needed the Kings the most, but they kept giving him crap & pushing him & I just wanted them to be BROTHERS.
Anyway, with all of that, I was especially looking forward to his story. I loved getting to know him & Robyn & learning what the heck he'd been up to. And Robyn's got the perfect heart for him.
Wow what a fast paced action book this one was . Daaaam I'm still trying to catch up on what I just read . As usual the old ladies didn't disappoint . I freaking love the shanigans they get them selves into it's one of the many highlights of this series . I love the ending and how things played out . I'm so looking forward to Baracoodas book bring it on.
What a good book! Core has always been an iffy person in the club. He’s never been fully in with his heart and now we know why. He has had a rough life up until he found the kings. Robyn is the bartender the Ol ladies have adopted. She is amazing and funny. She runs into Core one night on accident. You can never just stop once you start.
Hoy moly!! I went in to this thinking WTF Core?!!! He was going to get his ass beat! And then he was all up on Robyn and I was losing my mind. There were so many scenarios that played out in my head, I hoped that he would be able to redeem himself. Then he reveals his plans to Robyn and I was gone!!! I was on my last nerve for most of hiw book......and I absolutely loved it!!
