Skipped to the end
Link was so sleezy to me. Like straight from the beginning their Sex scenes just felt weird and cringy and then when he goes to the bar to pick up another girl and literally uses the same lines that he used on Chloe it grossed me out even more. It just wasn't what I like to feel when I'm reading about one of my main characters.

It wasn’t bad, but the stuff I like in these kinds of books (when she realizes she’s pregnant, the first ultrasound, labor, to name a few) wasn’t even in the book. It was sort of glossed over. I didn’t hate this book, I just never really felt anything for the characters because all these big things were so pushed aside for... I don’t even know what replaced them. It’s a quick and easy read but I can’t say it’s unforgettable.

I normally will NOT read a book if I know it will end with someone getting pregnant ‘on accident’. Since I was getting this for free, I figured I would give it a try. I am so happy that I did. This book was AMAZING!!
* How did the book make you feel?: I had a hard time putting this book down. It kept my interest the whole time. It is hard to describe, but my heart felt good the whole time I was reading. It never felt angst because there were issues between the main characters. I only read books that have HEA, so it wasn’t because I knew things would work out. The story was just told in a way that made me feel good.
* How do you feel about how the story was told?: The story was told in the POV of the main characters. I love this because I got to know each one. I came to love each one.
* What did you think about the main characters?: I felt connected to the main characters. I think it was because the way the story was told. I knew what the other was thinking and could put myself in the story with them.
* Which parts of the book stood out to you?: I think what stood out the most was that the author didn’t paint Link to be an ass. Yes, he slept around with a lot of people but he didn’t use Chloe. He always treated her right. They were in this together and they didn’t mess with that.
* What did you think about the ending?: I loved the ending. The author finished the story and didn’t leave me feeling that I needed more to complete it.
* What is your impression of the author?: I thought I read other books from this author but I can’t find my reviews and I try to review everything, at least giving the book stars. As I looked through her books, I see that she has a lot of ‘pregnancy’ books. Maybe that is why I haven’t read anything. Anyways, I loved this book so much that I might have to read another book from her. She knows how to paint the scene just enough to give your imagination something to see but doesn’t over explain it so you get lost and wish it would end.
I highly recommend this book. My normal books have been erotica, BDSM and such and this one didn’t have either, just romance. I am surprised I liked it so much.

Chloe finished culinary school and traveled the world learning from some renowned chefs, but now tired of traveling she came home to LA to start her career. After a few drinks they decide to go back to his place.
They slowly start to hang out together but don't tell anyone. Their one night turns into a lot more and then comes a positive pregnancy test.
Lincoln has to make decisions about his future but is Chloe a part of that? What about his best friend, Chloe's brother Nate, how will he handle the news?

This could be the usual story of a girl who sleeps with big brother's best friend and then the line turns pink. But Sloane has taken this run of the mill story and made it better. She has shown us what can really happen, that we women don’t get swept off our feet and taken home to a luxurious castle. Lincoln and Chole have to learn about each other and face those who are angry at them for being in this situation. It doesn’t get more real than this. Sure they liked each other, but they had to find love to stay together.

This is one of those stories that sneaks up on you. Everything is fine and then BAM , all you are doing is feeling and feeling and then more feeling . What a beautiful developed story of growth and trust and hope and love. I could not get enough of these romance journey. Absolutely fantastic. I received an ARC for my honest review

I wasn’t a big fan of this book tbh. Your typical accidental pregnancy romance and the guy sort of redeems himself in the end but he truly is just past shady sleazy in the beginning. I just could not make myself like Link (also I thought as a book society we agreed Linc was how you abbreviate Lincoln). I thought Chloe deserved better. Also (spoilers) WTF Taylor??? You “really liked him” and “felt betrayed” bc your BFF is preg? Chloe needs to drop Taylor and what’s her face as friends ASAP. Who the F cares if she was “going behind your back” with your crush? You are an adult not a child. There’s no dibs in romance. I’m clearly a bit let down by the lack of female best friend support in this book. If it were me I would be like wow I really liked him that sucks but ok, now tell me how was he in bed, are you together, how are you feeling about your pregnancy?? Other than that the book was decent for an accidental pregnancy book trope.

Yes, it’s worth reading. Chloe finally moves back home after culinary school and travelling the world to learn from some amazing chefs. Feeling it’s time to head home, she lands a great job working with an amazing chef in LA, so goes home.
Chloe and her two best friends, Serena and Taylor go to the night club ‘Delusions’ happy that Chloe is finally home to stay. It’s Chloe’s turn to buy a round of drinks, whilst at the bar she is hit on by a creepy guy who thinks flashing a wod of cash around is going to impress her. She”s had enough and turns to have words with him only to realise she knows him. His not just some guy, he is her brother Nates best friend, Lincoln. When he realises who Chloe is he panics, if Nate finds out he will kill him. He can’t believe it’s her, she’s changed heaps. He convinces her to have a drink with him as an apology for being creepy. A few drinks later they end up back at his place. The next day a secret friends with benefits agreement is made, even though if found out there would be at least two people not happy about it. Nathan because the sister best friend scenario and Taylor because she has had a crush on Lincoln since she was about ten years old. But seriously once was not enough. Some time has passed Chloe not feeling well, Lincoln goes over to look after her, whilst cleaning up the bathroom for her while she rests, he finds a pregnancy test with two bold lines. He promises to be there for her and the baby. A short while later he is offered the football contract of a life time. Grab the book to find out what happens with her brother, best friend and his contact. This book was a great read, I enjoyed it. RECOMMEND IT.

Chloe is back in her hometown for a job after being away for school and training. She's out with some friends when she runs into her brother's best friend. Lincoln is a rookie football player on his way up. He sees a gorgeous woman at the bar and hits her up not knowing that she's his best friend's sister. They both laugh when he realizes and its not long before things heat up between them for real. It was supposed to be one night but neither could forget the other so they started sneaking around to see each other. Everything was going well until she finds out that she's pregnant. Lincoln just learns that he has a great deal from another team in another state but he isn't sure if he wants it. Then he finds out he is going to be a dad and everything changes. Will Lincoln take the offer from the other team? Will they be able to stay together? What will everyone think about them being together?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is the story of Lincoln and Chloe. They met years ago because he was Chloe's brother, Nathan's best friend. She was back to Los Angeles after 4 years in Europe and decided to go to a club with her friends. There, a guy began to try to get her attention until she realized was Lincoln. After some drinks, she went with him to his apartment and began a friends with benefits relationship that they decided to hid from everybody. Day by day, they began to fall in love with each other but did not say anything for fear of hurt the other feelings or not be corresponded. Chloe got pregnant and Lincoln decided to take care of her. However, he had the opportunity of his life moving to New York. Chloe supported him but he did not want to leave her and his baby. Things got messy when they told Nathan about her pregnancy and Taylor, one of Chloe's friend. But they have to make the real decision, money or family. I loved the story, the characters and the plot. Nicely written. Highly recommended.

This is part of the Happy Ever After Bad Boy Series but can be read as a standalone. Also the books in the series can be read in any order. Get ready for an emotional roller coaster ride with Chloe and Lincoln. The plot is pretty common but Sloane Peterson brings them to life and makes them interesting and likable. A twist or two to keep you guessing and turning pages. A great book with likable characters and a moving story line. Lincoln is her brother's best friend and her brother is a big believer of the bro code where friends don't date their little sisters. So they decide to keep their fling secrets but sometimes there are things you can't keep secret - like a nine month little one. Decisions and more decisions. What about their careers and his new contract? What do they Choose? What happens when the family and her brother is not happy? Plenty of drama and some angst but a happy ending for all. A good book that you will enjoy. I received an advance review copy from Booksprout for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Fate has a funny way of interrupting and meddling in best laid plans. In this case, it seems fate was just listening to their hearts while Chloe and Lincoln were determined to ignore those pesky feelings
I really enjoyed the characters, plot and all the pieces parts that made up their story. While their careers are interesting, the book focuses on how these two spend time together. I honestly wasn’t sure if I was going to like Linc, but he totally redeems himself once he learns he’s going to be a daddy. Then he became a hero to me! I just loved how well he treats Chloe and makes many efforts to show her how much he cares and how much he is invested.
Overall, this accidental baby is a very enjoyable read with a wonderful HEA for these new parents, lovers and friends.

This was a good story! Lincoln was used to flashing his money and charming women in the club for hook ups. Until one night a women called him out on it. When she turned to look at him it was Chloe his best friends little sister. He has not seen her in years. He supplied her alcohol and his charm. Against her better judgment she left her friends and go home with him she got more than what she bargained for. That hook up turned into friends with benefits. They kept what they had from everyone until Chloe gets pregnant. Lincoln knows her brother is going to flip out. He knew he should have told his friend, now he knows things will be bad.Chloe is in the same predicament with her friends. It seemed like everyone was against them. Link was there for Chloe when everyone was not. They both were scared to say how they felt. The conditions have changed between them. They mean so much more to each other than they realizes. Lincoln who is Nathan's best friend and has been treated as one of his family since they first met years before. When the two best friends would get together, Nathan's younger sister, Chloe always seemed to be a pest and wanted to hang around with the older "brothers". Years later, Lincoln picks up Chloe in a bar but initially didn't recognize her so he was very surprised when she actually falls for his pick-up line. They agree to be friend's with benefits and keep their hook-ups a secret since they both agree that neither is interested in a "relationship". Feelings start to form for both of them but, neither is courageous enough to let the other one know. Things become complicated when Chloe finds out she is pregnant. There are many twists and turns within this well written story that had me worried that these two would never come to their senses about their love for each other to get that HEA that I was craving

Great Book

Chloe's brother Nathan/Nate has been best friends with Link since they were in middle school and were inseparable. When Chloe returns home to LA after traveling around Europe after graduating, she goes out with her friends for the night to a club named Delusions. What she was not expecting to find was Link being the creep that was hitting on her and trying to buy her a drink at the bar. Well this can't get dangerous now can it???
This was dynamite book. The story-line is well crafted and the characters were well developed and interesting. I really enjoyed this easy read which put a smile on my face and made my heart race. Plus the HEA is fantastic.

Lincoln has a reputation as a real playboy and Chloe is interested in getting her career going. Somehow Sloane Peterson makes these characters human rather than a stereotype. They belong together and I wanted them to end up together but her brother isn't happen that Lincoln broke the men's code about sleeping with sisters.
The road to happily ever after is not smooth but there are some unexpected twists. The story reads quickly and doesn't get too heavy. If you are looking for a quick summer read, Accidental Knock Up.

Accidental Knock up is part of the Happy Ever After Bad Boy series by Sloan Peterson. I enjoyed reading this story. This book was well written. The characters chemistry was on fire.

I really enjoyed reading Accidental Knock Up by Sloane Peterson because it was a steamy and forbidden romance between Lincoln and Chloe. Lincoln was Chloe's brother's best friend and she has always liked him secretly. They had a moment of passion one night that turned into many. Neither wanted a relationship. I loved their steaminess and their chemistry. But there were issues when her brother found out as well as one of her friends. I really wanted their relationship to work out because they were perfect for each other. I would highly recommend reading this story. It was hot and steamy with a little bit of drama.

So the elements in this story are:- An over protective brother of a younger sister. Brothers best friend is a playboy with plenty of notches on his bedpost. Said sister is back home after four years away and she isn't the pesky kid anymore but a beautiful woman. A one night stand is a betrayal of the bro-code and a friend with benefits arrangement is a definite bro-code no no! So after the FWB has been going on secretly for a while lets throw in an unexpected pregnancy into the mix.
So take all the ingredients, mix, scoop into a tin and bake on gas mark 5 and VOILA!!!

I have to say that Sloane has brought up a great story of a brothers best friend and little sister. This is one that was not expected since its not typical that she is crushing on him so much. They are friends of course but it is her best friend that has had the crush on him forever. But of course we know what happens when people hang out that are friends sometimes things happen and they become FWB. And that is what happens here. These two are not in love by any means. He is not looking for a relationship with his career and neither is she really. But things happen and drama happens. How will these two make this work between them if that is what they really want?

I love brother's best friend/younger sister romance so I was excited to read Accidental Knock Up by Sloane Peterson. It's from the Happy Ever After Bad Boy Series. Chloe is finally home in LA after traveling the world learning from the top chefs. So she agrees to a night out with her girlfriends. She doesn't expect to go home with Lincoln Grayson, her brother's best friend, What started as a one night stand turned into multiple nights and a friends with benefits agreement. Chloe knows Link is a player on and off the football field so she has no expectations. But Link and Chloe find themselves craving each other and then they both get the shock of their lives. What will happen when her very protective brother finds out and will Link stay around? Great read!

Great story. Chloe and Lincoln has a super night together and find that they really connect. They decide that they are going to keep their night together a secret. Lincoln is Chloe's brother's best friend. That's not going to stop them from being together, friends with benefits. Things are going fine until an unplanned pregnancy gets in the way. Now they have to make some decisions about their relationship by telling each other the truth but also telling their friends and family. Will they make the right decision and stay together? A feel good, passionate, and surprising book!
Peterson did a wonderful job in writing this book. She captured a range of emotions, great characters, and enough angst to make this book successful.
Linc is a playboy when it comes to beautiful women. Unknowingly, he hits on Chloe, who is his best friends little sister one night at the bar. When she turns around to look at the man who gave her a few lines, she is stunned that it is Linc. Chloe and Linc continue to drink and flirt. The night ends with passion and a whole lot of chemistry between the two.
As stated above, I really like these two characters. They are in sync, and find themselves drawn and unable to stay away from each other. I recommend this book!
