Essex Haze: A Conspiracy Thriller

Rate this book
In a foggy marsh at the far edges of Essex, England, sits the town of Whye-next-to-Sea. Forlorn and abandoned, Whye is a great utopian experiment that has gone horribly wrong.

Forgotten for sixty years, a proposed urban renewal project is about to see Whye become a battleground between various factions; vulture capitalists, far-right terrorists and local residents, as they fight for the town’s future- and its soul.

Drawn into this battle, two siblings, Lauren and Ted Allston, must navigate a complex web of lies, murder and intrigue, as well as their personal demons, in their struggle to escape the town’s clutches before the world around them sinks into anarchy.

Behind the conspiracy and intrigue there is a beautiful story of a person dealing with their small town roots and the guilt of leaving.
