The single men of this unit are dropping like flies to the joy of mated bliss, and I absolutely love it! This book is another fantastic addition to the series! The newest characters really enhanced the life stories of the men in the unit and I love how Wil was able to connect with Mandy and his dad. This HEA has a slow build that fit perfectly with the story and left me wishing for more. And the action and danger fit in at just the right moment. I can’t wait to see what happens with Doc and Any of the other characters on the island that calls to the author’s muse.
I really enjoyed reading this book and getting to see so many new yet also the se characters. This is a good series and another solid read in the series. My only hesitation to giving it 5 starts is that certain scenes seem to not be fully fleshed out and seem to end quickly and pretty conveniently. Not bad at all, just wish there was more in a few places.
Wow, Wil's read had a lot going on and a lot of reveals. Poor Mandy had no idea what hit her. Hot men with super powers, who could shift into animals and Mages of the dark magic evil kind. She handled it all pretty well. The big shocker was seeing William Senior cured of cancer by Rick. How freaking cool. Seems like this read is setting up something major or maybe not. Can't wait to read Rick's story.
Even though I accidentally read this book before the first 3 in this part of the series I didn’t feel lost. Mandy secluded herself on the mountain feeling that she could run from her past not realizing that it was not possible. William was dieing and his son Wil came to spend the last days with him. Fate pulls them all together.
It was so cool to see these guys at work. I wish they were real. This book takes you all across the US. This happens after a lot of excitement. The story drew me in wouldn't let go.
Always too short but a fun and sexy read. Wil and Mandy were sweet together and I loved seeing William return to the land of the living. Looking forward to Rick's book next!
Mandy is a park ranger who gets word to Wil that his father, William, a retired Special Ops sniper and current Park Ranger, is dying. Rick is given the okay to travel with him and aid, if possible, William. Liam is sent as liaison with the local shifters. This book can be read as a stand alone, but it is much better if one is familiar with the prior story lines.
I really enjoy this series. In the Tales of the Were,, Bianca D'Arc is bold about identifying good and evil, and showing us that magic exists but humans cab be pretty special too!
