Gostei muito, sobretudo das ilustrações.
Muito atual, consegui ver-me no papel do filho e no papel da mãe.
Gostaria que o final fosse algo diferente, mas não sei muito bem como...

قشنگ دغدغه این روزهای یک مادر شاغل با فرزند کوچیکش رو نشون داد .فکری که ذهن هر بچه کوچیکی که این روزها مواجهه زیادی با تکنولوژی و لایف استایل رباتیک داره رو درگیر میکنه دورست در اوج داستان یادآوری میکنه که لمس مادرانه و احساسی که از یک آغوش گرم منتقل می شه معنا و عامل اثربخشی ارتباط هست

The kids and I enjoyed this book. At first it seems like a robot mom that only serves to please the kids would be a perfect replacement for mamá...until they realize that robots don't express emotion or amor.

My son is into robots lately. I brought him into the office with me today where he made a giant robot (his size) out of paper and Scotch® tape. He's quite the little inventor.
Today - perfect timing - we also received a copy of a book I bought for him called Mama Robot, written by Davide Cali and illustrated by AnnaLaura Cantone. Originally written in Italian, the text was translated by Marcel Danesi (published by Tundra Books).
The artwork is the first thing that captured my attention. A combination of sketches and digital images leap from the page and require a second look (there's a small key carried by the narrator on the first page and real silverware on the table setting).
There are also subtle details in the drawings that most readers won't think twice about but those that have keen observation skills will giggle over (the coffee mugs as the robot mom's breasts and the small grommets falling from the robot dog's behind on the last page).
As a single, working mom, I can imagine that my son has a lot in common with the little boy in the story. His mom is always working, always at her desk and he's continuously bored and wanting her attention.
He decides to make a new mom - Mama Robot - and talks about all the great things that would come of it: Mama Robot would never be too busy to spend time with me! She would never make me brush my teeth. She'd let me stay up late to watch scary movies and would never make me tidy up my room.
Our young protagonist finally realizes that he can't quite cuddle with Mama Robot and she doesn't smell quite the same as his real mom and so, he decides to take her apart and create a new companion. Moms are, after all, irreplaceable.
This is a wonderful book for parents and children, as it serves as a powerful reminder of what's important: quality time which truly is priceless.

Sinto que o livro poderia ter dado mais, acabou muito de repente...
Porém , adorei as ilustrações , são apelativas e bonitas.
A moral do livro foi interessante.
Nenhuma mãe robot por mais que faça todas as vontades será tão boa como a verdadeira, pois esta dá-nos amor, tem aquele cheirinho característico que iremos levar sempre no nosso coração, só ela faz as melhores cócegas ...Mãe é mãe.
Porém , adorei as ilustrações , são apelativas e bonitas.

Always handy with 4-6 years old kids! They all have moments where they complain about Mum....!
But a mommy-robot can't really replace the warmth and uniqueness of my-oh-so-special-Mommy, even if Mommy's not around all the time ;)

June 15, 2017Mama Robot is about a boy that makes himself his own robot who also happens to play the role of mom. Mama Robot cleans all his mess, does his homework and does his chores but can this mama robot cuddle and snuggle like his real mom?
The story starts off with the little boy liking his mama robot because she does everything she tells him to but he starts to miss his mom because she cant give him the love that his real mom does. A theme in this story is to accept people for who they are and that love conquers. This book looks like it can be for kids ranging 4-6 because sometimes little kids will say they hate their mom and this book shows them to accept their mama's as they are.
