Lawson has been content to play the field until now.
There is just something special about Willow.
This series is so good. I just love it.

The characters are stupendous and I’m looking forward to reading more about them.

Graystone, TX has developed some fine men, first Ransom and now Lawson. Will our playboy, bounty hunter, be tamed?

Newcomer Willow wants to start over, be under the radar. But, she has caught the eye of Lawson. She has a little crush herself, but her confidence is lacking, and she is not ready to share her story.

I enjoyed the story, just enough romance and a bit of drama to keep my attention. Although I love the family they have created, I am waiting for Gideon’s story.

I got hooked onto this series with the previous book and couldn’t wait for Lawson’s story. And it was good. I loved it 😊

Lawson was a member of the bounty business Gray Wolf and he was a part time fire fighter. He also suffers from insomnia due to years being in the military. He was also a bit of a playboy as rumours go around Town. But when he kept running into Willow Keaton and started thinking of her more often he knew there was something there. But he also knew she was a women who went through a hard time. So he was going to be careful with her…

Willow Keaton had a terrible and struggled childhood. She got married and things didn’t go well either. Now she has moved to Graystone and wanted a new life. She has a job and she has friends, if only she could get her ex to give her a divorce. So she shouldn’t be getting involved with Lawson Masterson, right?? Until her life is sorted she thinks maybe it’s good to keep him in the friends zone. Until her husband decided to step up his terror and Lawson had enough distance put between them and now his going all in…



I loved Lawson. And even though it was mentioned he was a playboy, I didn’t see that much in this book. The moment he knew he had an attraction to Willow he went about making her his. Willow was sweet, caring and so strong. She got out when things got bad and I admired that she wanted to do things in her own way and on her own. Lots of drama and action and man is Lawson a hot and sexy dirty talking alpha male… What more would you want for a nice afternoon read ❤❤😊I am totally excited for Grayson’s story, I cant wait 😊

I am at a loss right now. I just finished Lawson and am trying to figure out just how to word my review. Be prepared for the range of emotions you are about to be engaged with. I'm not gonna lie there were a few times a tear or two slid down my cheeks, a few times I wanted to use my Louisville slugger, and I may have whooped and yelled YES a time or two as well.
Within these pages we get a FMC who has been beat down and made to feel like she is nothing. She has been made to believe no one will ever love/want her. AND she is made to believe she will never find the happiness she so deserves. Willow is one of the strongest characters I have read in a while. She was made to feel all those things, but she has prevailed! She has overcome every damn obstacle that her narcissistic a$$hole of an ex tried to drill into her head. I love the fact that not only did she overcome all of those, but she has grown one hell of a backbone and refuses to be used as a welcome mat anymore.
Lawson is the playboy who never knew he needed something more until he takes a deeper look at Willow. He is perfect for her. He is the right amount sugary sweet, splashed with all of the possessive alpha deliciousness that you are going to love. He has been known to melt the panties off of all of his conquest, but there is something about Willow that calls to him.
Their love is real, it is true, and it is unbreakable. With this being said they have an uphill battle that they need to overcome to get to their HEA.

I wasn't sure I was going to like this one going into it. In the last book, all it seemed like they talked about with Lawson was how much of a man-whore he was, so not sure I could get behind him enough to root for him. Then when I was the heroine was Willow, that made it all the harder. What little we saw of Willow, I liked her, but knew she was hiding some big things.

We quickly learn what Willow had been hiding, she left her husband, who was a huge POS, that didn't feel like letting her go. She wasn't asking for anything, other than her freedom and yet, that was too much for him to even consider. It's a good thing she found a new home surrounded with good people who had her back.

Lawson grew on me. He was smitten with Willow and stopped his man-whore ways. Once he realized he had feelings for Willow, he stopped with all the other women and did what he could to win Willow over. It wasn't easy, she friend zoned him hard. But little by little he won her over, by just being there for her, helping when he didn't have to and stepping in when she needed that help! There were 2 times when bad things came for Willow and she knew, just knew 100%, that Lawson would be there for her. That knowledge really cemented things between them.

I loved how this one ended, such a happy occasion, made more happy.

Thoughts - I jumped straight into this book after the first one so wasn’t sure who the MFC was, i was excited it was willow after her introduction in book 1, she deserves her HEA. there were so many funny moment’s between the guys… the whole man getting a mouth hug part had me laughing. I don’t know if I’ll ever get sick of the reformed playboy trope and then to have a curvy MFC as well. There were a couple of tense moments so check your triggers if you have them. The epilogue thought *chefs kiss, it was so freakin sweet 🥰🥰 special mention for Lawson taking it slow with Willow and going at her pace.

Plot - after leaving her ex, willow is starting over. New town, new job, new her. Slowly but surely she starts to gain new friends and wants to put down roots in Graystone. Strange things start happening and then one day her ex appears but the local playboy has also noticed her and he’ll be dammed if he doesn’t make her notice him too.

The dynamic duo have done it again!!!

I love watching a playboy get brought to their knees when they least expect it.
And oh boy did I love seeing our playboy and bounty hunter Lawson get brought to his knees by the beautiful, reserved, and slightly broken Willow.

Their story is one that pulled me in and instantly stole my heart. My heart and soul desperately needed a HEA for both Lawson and Willow, and therefore I found myself unable to put this story down until I had devoured every word from start to finish.
The story has it all, romance, suspense, action, twists and turns, steam, angst, and a whole lot of protective alpha-ness. As I immersed myself in their story my heart both ached and warm, and I found myself laughing, crying, swooning, blushing, gasping in surprise, and holding my breath with anticipation.
I loved both Lawson and Willow and their beautiful connection. Starting from a friendship I loved their HEA journey, and particularly enjoyed the relationship growth and seeing Willow work through her insecurities.

I absolutely loved this story and with a few hints with what is to come in the series I can not wait for more!!

Lawson is book two in the Gray Wolf Corp Texas Series. This is a bounty hunter, friends to lovers romance. The story focuses on Lawson Masterson and Willow Keaton. 

Lawson is flirty, fearless, protective, and a lot more alpha then I was expecting, especially in the bedroom (fanning myself). He's a playboy that has no shame in his game. But meeting Willow makes him want more. The cover nails Lawson to a tee! And those eyes, GAH! I love it!

Willow is brave, determined, hard working, and strong. She's seen more hard times and been through her own personal hell most of her life. She's trying for a fresh start at life in Greystone, but her past won't stop coming back to haunt her. But she's a fighter and will never give up.

The plot was entertaining, unpredictable, steamy, and easy to read. There's action, realistic aspects, some heart breaking moments along with heart warming ones as well. I have a feeling that we may be seeing some of the Kings of Retribution Montana Chapter in the next book. I'm really loving this new series and I'm looking forward to Gideons story!

Ok, I am really glad I continued on with this series after that first book.
I didn't like how the first book was done, it felt way to rushed and had too many topics for such a short book.
This was SO. MUCH. BETTER!
Yes, it's still rushed through. There was plenty they could have added and the book was short.
Like Lawson's military history. It's clear from the beginning he has PTSD, but it's just kind of forgotten as the book goes on.
However, compared to how the last book went, this was a major improvement.


I loved the story line on this one. Each "drama" is wrapped up before moving on to the next which is perfect.
Willow has a very interesting story line and I'm so happy she got her HEA.
This was perfect book for her story line. Maybe if it was longer we would have had a full Lawson story line, but I don't even care because I enjoyed reading it that much.

Lawson is the second standalone title in the Grey Wolf Corp Texas series and I absolutely loved this book and its characters. I could not put it down and the entire book was read in one afternoon!

I absolutely loved the dynamic between the main characters, Lawson and Willow. They seem to be opposites in every way. Willow is shy and self-conscious while Lawson is a confident alpha type. When she finds herself in a dangerous situation, the sparks fly as he takes over her life to protect her. I thoroughly enjoyed their back and forth as the story progressed and loved seeing Willow blossom as her confidence grew.

Sandy Alvarez and Crystal Daniels knocked it out of the park with this book. This series is entertaining, fun to read, with a cast of characters that will keep me coming back for more. I have to say that I was extremely impressed, but not surprised by the quality of this book. I can’t wait for more titles in this series to be published.

This book is about Lawson, one of the bounty hunters at Gray Wolf Corp and Willow, who works for Genesis. When Lawson and Willow are together, they have a connection that you can feel come off the pages and there is fire. This book has it all…romance, suspense and an hero that knows what he wants. You could read it as a standalone, but why would you? I cannot recommend this book enough. Now can we get Gideon’s book?? I also want to know what’s going on with her friend, pretty please? And the connection/surprise near the end was fantastic!

I was so excited when this hit my Kindle. Seeing the playboy go from bed to bed to the overprotective man in his woman's life, is the best read!

Lawson watched as his best friend fell and had no drive to join him on the happy side. He was content with his life until he met her.

Willow has a hard past that she is trying to run from, but it keeps chasing her. Lawson watchs and knows there is more than what she is putting out there.

Seeing him go from playboy to man of the hour was amazing. His protective nature is amazing and I love how he loves her, imperfections and all. He alwasy says she is no broken just shaped the way she needs to be for him.

10/10 reccomend!

This one was hard for me to rate and I rounded up.
Some would say not safe since he is with others.
Sometimes I have a hard time separating what I'm attracted to and what the characters are attracted to. In the first book we saw that he was a playboy. You know in some series you see a character in one book and their history isn't brought up in their own story, well that didn't happen here. So I had a very hard time with the beginning. I don't understand how she could crush on him when she sees him with others and knows that he is a playboy who slept with most girls in town. Then not use protection their first time, oy. If I could separate the beginning of the story with the end it was have been a really good story but the beginning brought it down.

Words cannot describe how much I loved this book I really enjoyed Ransom, but Lawson was something ELSE! The chemistry between Willow and Lawson was instant, I loved both characters, and as usual with Crystal and Sandy, the side characters are always the best. The story was gripping and exciting, the end climax was definitely unexpected, and I really enjoyed the little plot twist toward the end of the book - no spoilers! Definitely deserves 5 stars! As soon as I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down!

Willow takes Lawson's breath away. She makes him forget about his desire to remain single and allows him to see the happiness and love he can have with just her.

When another part of her past arrives, shock changes their course in life but for the better. However, that doesn't last long when unknown players make themselves known.

The drama is intertwined into their lives, showing just how far they will go for each other. How deep their love has become and how no matter what, they will love one another, always.

Lawson captivated me completely in Ransom and his story was so beautifully told.

Lawson looked at her like she was the most beautiful woman ever and he knew she needed his protection. Willow was his family and he protected her and her little brother with everything in him. These two came out on top after a traumatic event and formed the most beautiful bond.

Exceptional story telling!!!!

I watched Lawson and his playboy ways in the book Ransom. And while Lawson is a standalone, reading Ransom will give more detail and backstory on all the characters.

Willow is quiet and reserved and hiding from a past. She is trying to build a future, determined not to live in fear and dwell on said past. Nothing was easy and she is a strong, resilient, caring heroine.

Lawson, despite the playboy persona, slips into the role of one woman man easily. He sees the distrust and fear within Willow and shows patience and kindness while pursuing her.

While they start a friendship, drama ensues showing them they mean more to each other than they initially thought. Watching/reading about their progression was fun and exciting and parts left me on the edge of my seat.

There was also development of secondary characters that lead me to be excited for another book. As with their previous books, I am anxious for the next installment. And I loved the Easter eggs with Kings of Retribution. Again, if you are unfamiliar with that series you aren't missing anything within this book but if you know it, I bet you'll smile when you read it.

I absolutely recommend this book.

Lawson and willow are such a great match. When willows past comes back to drag her back down Lawson is there to help her pick her life back up. The Easter egg that Sandy and Crystal added was so fun and was a great addition to this book. I can’t wait for Gideon’s book it has to be awesome. 100+ stars all day long.

Can’t get enough of the Gray Wolf Corp boys! Joining his friends in creating Gray Wolf Corp after retiring from the military, Lawson has spent his time in town living up to his playboy persona, spending time with a ton of women in town. Willow is a newcomer to town in an attempt to start over after a nasty and horrible marriage, and the damage of that relationship has continued to affect her even after her move. For some reason, Lawson has set his sights on Willow and she is adamant that he isn’t attracted to her at all, but that all changes when Willow’s ex-husband tracks her down and starts to terrorize her, and he won’t stand for it. I loved this couple together – they really played off of each other and helped each other to really heal from their past demons. Much like the rest of the books these authors write, I was completely enthralled and couldn’t put the book down. I am very excited to see what happens next in the next installment!

Lawson is an incredibly heartbreaking but beautiful book about finding your person who makes you feel whole. Not just finding that romantic love but also friendship.
Willow was so absolutely damaged from a very hard childhood and them the addition of a mentally abusive relationship. When Lawson very first met Willow she was very reserved and shy, as the book went on seeing her blossom was a beautiful sight to see. Lawson was also pretty damaged and didn't want love, until sweet willow came along. It was really great to see their friendship bloom and then their love. Both characters absolutely blossomed from the love they share together. This was an incredible book written by an absolutely amazing duo. This series is absolutely amazing I have loved both books so much. I have a feeling I know what couple is next...and I hope I'm right!

Lawson Masterson has a reputation around town that is of him playing the field and wanting to commit to any girl who crosses his path. When he sees Willow Keaton he is intrigued but he can tell she is not the type of girl who would be a one and done but he hesitates to make that leap. Willow is timid though and Lawson can't seem to fight himself from going after the one woman who he is determined to make his.

I liked this one quite a bit and can't wait for the others in the series to see how their story unfolds. I thought it was a bit short, would have liked a lot more but it was a great story none the less. These two authors never cease to amaze me.

Lawson is a perfect blend of gruff and soft.
