The pacing drastically improved and the story is starting to get to that point where you don't want to stop reading. We're just quite not there yet. I'll have to give the show the W with certain events like the discovering of the cheating and omni-man giving the big klap. But the overall difference in between show and comic is certainly interesting.
Just finished this and man, it was fire. It’s wild seeing how the show and the comic are so different but still line up in key spots. The action was great, and you can feel things are about to get real. I also liked seeing more of Will and Mark’s friendship, it’s chill, real, and adds heart to all the chaos going on. This is a must read if you're getting into Invincible.
Things start to get less All-Ages. People die with guts sploding. Tons of innuendo and suggestive sexy talk. Feels more like an actual teen. Mark is still trying to figure it all out, and is mostly having fun along the way.... but you sense the guts are gonna hit the hero soon...
