I have read several books by Olivia Peters so I knew that this would be a good book. However, this is my first time reading anything by Marlo Lanz. These two women make a powerhouse writing duo. It is always interesting to see a female character or male character written from the opposite gender. Which in this case, Olivia did an awesome job of giving a voice to Dean aka Mr. Big Dick.

The witty banter and sexual innuendos were great. It made the story that more entertaining. I did get a bit of a Fifty Shades of Grey vibe coming from this book as well. This book was a quick read for me as once I started reading I could not stop.

The sexual chemistry between Dean and Mia is scorching hot. If I was a smoker I would have needed several cigarettes' throughout the course of this book. Seductive Scoundrel has electric chemistry and a really likable couple. I loved how Dean figured out that he needed to accept Mia for the person she was, rather than some idealized perfect woman he had in mind, and I loved how real Mia felt. Add in a great secondary cast, and these two authors ended up with a wonderful addition to the Cocky Hero Club.

My first book by these two authors and definetly not the last.

Seductive Scoundrel is a seductive romance that I enjoyed very much. I love the fact that Dean and Mia both lack verbal filters, so all of their interactions are highly entertaining! From the first page, this story is filled with witty banter through texting, fueled by the mutual sexual attraction when they finaly meet person to person.
Together they make a ridiculously cute couple and I was over the moon when they finally got over the 'drama' to reach the HEA they deserved.

I loved every minute of this book, it was highly entertaining.

I devoured this book. I love an alpha hero and Dean is totally alpha and totally hot. He’s rich and quite the playboy who doesn’t do girlfriends. He pretty much loves one night stands and doesn’t get close to anyone. When he mistaken starts texting the wrong woman, they start up a fun and steamy relationship. When secrets are uncovered though, Dean must make plenty of important decisions.
Seductive scoundrel is a top read and written incredibly well. I so loved the characters and felt a connection with them. I even cried like a baby.

What an amazing read!!! I am a huge fan of Olivia Peters, but this book was totally different from what I am used to reading from her. Such a talented writer to be able to create such different yet equally amazing stories!!!! I’m hooked and will definitely be eagerly waiting for the next one!!! Dean and Mia’s story was full of smoking hot moments but also such real and oh so relatable emotions that just made you feel everything that they both have fought through in life. A page turner that kept me enthralled until the very end! Amazing read! Highly recommended

I was expecting this book to be steamy as I've read everything Olivia Peters has written. However, I wasn't expecting it to be so funny! Seductive Scoundrel is such an enjoyable read, and I was laughing out loud at the text banter between Dean and Mia.

There is just enough conflict to keep you turning the pages, and a few plot twists that I didn't see coming. I read the book in one sitting, which is always the best indication of a great read for me. I was rooting for Dean and Mia to reach their happily ever after throughout the book - I love them.

Olivia and Marlo are such a great combination! I'd give this book more than 5 stars if I could.

Mia and Dean are so much fun! I was not in Dean’s fan club in the beginning, but his character was developed so well and the pacing was perfect! I ended up rooting for him and adding him to my boyfriend list right along with Dexter Jr. The only thing I missed was a Chance/Pixie cameo! Definitely a must read in the Cocky Heroverse!

AMAZING!
Dean thinks he's getting to know the woman he met at a masquerade party. Mia plays along thinking things won't last and the guy will give up after a few texts. As time goes on they finally meet up and get to know each other. Dean's not one to let people in but he can't seem to get Mia out of his mind. There is mystery, twists, laughter, heartache, friendships, and so much more. Mia and Dean were destined to be together. They just seemed to fit. But can Dean get past all the lies and betrayal from Mia? I loved how Mia didn't back down and always had a come back. This is the first book I've read by this author and I truly enjoyed it. This is a must read 📚

Dean and Mia meet when he sexts her accidentally thinking she is the woman he met at a masquerade ball. She is new to NY and doesn't really know anyone so plays along. He is just looking for a hook up and that is all she is willing to give. As they get to know each other both feel an attraction that can't be explained. When her past comes back to haunt her it could destroy their chance at a future.

I am new to both of these authors but loved my introduction to them. Seductive Scoundrel will make you laugh and your heart hurt for Dean and Mia. Interesting twists with the involvement of the Truitt's. I loved the way Dean and Mia banter via text message throughout their relationship. Fun addition to the Cocky Hero Club World.

I absolutely LOVED Seductive Scoundrel, and Dean and Mia!! Dean sends a text to who he believes is the woman he "met" at a masquerade ball but he gets 1 number wrong and ends up sending said text to Mia, which may in the long run be to his benefit. Dean is a workaholic, and work is his be all end all. He has no time for anything else other than a hook up here and there. He meets Mia, and she rocks his entire world, he does things he would never do for another woman, and all he can think about is her. Mia has moved to New York from Kansas after she found her douche canoe fiance cheating on her. She is agreeable to having fun with Dean, but is that really what they both want? Things come to light, and Dean decides he's done...but is he? Will the feelings they have for each other outweigh the things that have been withheld? You'll just have to read this AWESOME book to find out, and I do believe you will love Dean and Mia as much as I do!!

Oh my god I absolutely loved this book by Olivia and Marlo both are new authors to me but wow I am going to check out their other books. Oh my Dean was one cocky alpha who just leapt from the pages. Mia is a strong woman who yes makes some mistakes but hey who can blame her after getting that text and all those promises. They have a wonderful chemistry and the story line is enthralling. This delightful book had me hooked from the start and I didn’t want it to end. Well done ladies I wish I could give you more than five stars. This book is part of The Cocky Hero Club but it can be read as a standalone. I received this book as an arc for my honest opinion but you really need to read this one.

Dean plays all his cards close to the vest, especially his emotional ones. He doesn't feel the desire to settle down, instead opting for casual arrangements. Work has been his priority for a long time, and he has no intention of changing that. When Mia enters his life, he's struck by how easily his focus shifts, as no other woman before her has come that close to altering his life. But as the secrets she keeps continue blindsiding him, he begins to wonder if letting his guard down was the right call all along.

Mia responds to a text meant for someone else and begins a seductive game of cat and mouse with Dean McCormick. But as she gets to know the man under the expensive suits and cool façade, she finds herself wishing that he could be permanent in her life. Caught up in the fantasy, will Mia be able to convince Dean that her love is real and true, or will she be the villain in her own love story?

I liked the premise and general story arc in this book. Dean & Mia had real chemistry, and I genuinely enjoyed their banter. I loved the emotional undertones that the authors snuck in, too, ensuring that I truly enjoyed the book. I recommend it. It is a great addition to the Cocky Hero Club series.

So many twists and turns. Some humorous, some devastating and heartbreaking.

A case of mistaken identity, wrong phone numbers and steamy pics shouldn't constitute a relationship....but for Mia and Dean that's how it starts. Except they both don't know the same information. The more they interact the more they like each other, and the more they want each other outside of the bedroom.

Dean wants Mia from the start. He knows he enjoys time with her and that makes him afraid. He constantly pushes her away stating she's a distraction, but isn't complete honest with himself.
Mia ran away from her home town to get a fresh start from her past. Dean makes her feel alive and want things she said she didn't want again.
Likewise Mia makes Dean laugh and see that sometimes there is more to a good life than always working.

But when truths come to light within so many aspects of their lives can they make it work or will the hurt end it?

I loved this story and I felt their heartbreak and was rooting for them to see past their own way to get the other person's perspective.

I did feel like I wanted a littles more closure on the article picture with Gwynne though....from the message Mia's sister sent. It was mentioned a lot that Dean didn't like being photographed and he was with a horrible person after his break up with Mia. And I know she loves him, but she never asked about it??

Olivia writes an amazing story of two strangers that supposedly meet at a masquerade but did they really? Did the masks hid their true identity or is there just a mix-up?

Dean thinks that the person he is texting is the sexy woman he met last night at the masquerade but is it? They never saw one another's faces and she had to leave early. All she gave him was her number written on a napkin. Dean starts to text the number he has but the text are anything but clean. The dirty text between Dean and this woman goes from being dirty to sexting. Can Dean keep it together until he meets her on Saturday, six whole days?

Mia has no idea who this Dean guy is but she goes along with the game. She has just arrived in NYC to get away from a heartbreak back home. What would go wrong with a little dirty sexting between strangers, right? Well, now she has a date and has to remember that he thinks she is the woman he met at the party.

Mia jumps through hoops to keep up the facade but things fall apart. They start a relationship but too many secrets are kept and hearts are broken. Can they get over the hurt? This their love for one another stronger?

Olivia grabs your attention and cheering for Mia right from the beginning. The way that she had the two of them teasing each other with just texts and pictures was perfect. The storyline was a fantastic one and very enjoyable read. There was heartbreak, and you feel the emotions they both felt because of how the story was written.

Love it. the characters are phenomenal. I love the two point of views. I feel that I am right there with them while their story unfolds.
The audio version is fabulous. I recommend both the written word and the listening of both narrators.
Lance Greenfield has a deep sexy and seductive voice.

Seductive Scoundrel is a story that I seriously loved despite Dean's somewhat uppity attitude. I know, Mia did some things as well, but he stayed on his high horse when it came to ANYONE making a mistake. I get him being mad, but there was a big action that was a no no to me since it was very quickly after things hit the fan, and it was never addressed which had me conflicted about the rating. Mia should have made things right but she didn't deserve that. I know that I keep harping on it, but I can't help myself to be honest LOL! Yes, Mia & Dean are perfect for each other (when he remembers people make mistakes), and their chemistry was off the charts leading to super sexy times, and the writing style were highly addictive & impossible to put so I decided to go with my first inclination of this rating because at the end of the day, Seductive Scoundrel had my emotions out running amok & that's what I love in my books! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dean and Mia meet under different circumstances. Dean feels he has met his match and Mia does something to him that no one else does. However, Mia is keeping a big secret and when Dean finds out well there will be hell to pay. But for these two it is so much more. The meeting over text messages has foreplay doing double time. Mia just wants to live her life the best she can. She's trying to get that promotion to move onto bigger and better things. But sometimes life gets in the way and Mia's about to find out that not all men are the same. When her secret is exposed what will she do. And when her past comes back to bite her in the bum well that's not going to go over well either. Dean man is so strong and loving he has always known what he wants and doesn't. But can he forgive Mia and love her forever?

I give a high rating to the story line and the characters Mia and Dean in this book. There is a strong feeling from the beginning that these characters would break through each others armor somehow. And the story gets interesting as their relationship grows into a strong bond/love but at the same time I wonder if they will or can end up together, you will have to read to find out. And both the characters are interesting and you just want to know more. There are a lot of feelings that come out while reading Mia and Dean's story, Everything from Happy to Sad, surprised, funny, sexy. This is a great read, I highly recommend this book. Great job Marlo Lanz and Olivia Peters.

there were a few bits i didn't follow very easily and 2 characters named similarly i find very confusing Dex and Dean ..that is tough on the mind??! i loved the ending. great ending, HEA!! well done. i am new to authors. i wanna read more from the both of them.
