So we have recently transformed Tyree, finding his way with his new male body and much maligned Grace, who has had a traumatic imprisonment with Shadow in the previous book. Grace's musical skills gain her worldwide acclaim and she is forced to perform to a huge audience on a planet so that the crew can earn some cash. Things go wrong when her and Tyree become stranded on the planet with the evil empire.

This was an ok read; my least favourite of the series though. Why? Well I think I just had a different storyline in my head. Grace was a bit of a wet rag. She has had a horrid time up until now and constantly battles with the idea of being tied to a man. Her inner dialogue goes on throughout the book until she suddenly sees the light in one paragraph.

Tyree was a bit weird too. He goes from being a 3ft elf-like hemaphrodite to suddenly being a hot dude with constant hard on. I just couldn't quite marry the two characters.

Initially, I liked the idea that Grace and Tyree had been friends who hung out having sleepovers and watching films before he changed. I kind of expected that to continue. I thought the combination of Tyree not knowing anyhing about his new body but being curious to explore new sensations with Grace's aversion to anything sexual, but her intrigue over Tyree's new form and need to aid him in his education would be the perfect breeding ground for some playful scenes building up to the action.

Nope, that didn't happen. I just needed more of a transition to help me acclimatise to the new Tyree. The story was all kinds of nice and sweet. Grace is quite chaste and Tyree is very honorable, but it didn't have the heat level I was looking for.

That said, I am still enjoying the series.

What a great story, love how is the developing in the big scheme and Tyrel transformation
because of his love for Grace. I got frustrated by Grace a couple of times, she talks so much about
the type of guys her mom dated and I could not believe she did not spot it once she encounters one like those.
However I liked that she played music and was able to work through her debilitating thoughts
Looking forward to reading more of these gladiators

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Any book with Alana Khan's name on the cover immediately stops me in my tracks. I have read several of her books and love her writing style. Tyree was no different.
Grace is horrified to learn one of her friends on the space ship has posted her music on their equivalent of YouTube and the music has gone viral. She receives an invite from an emperor to perform three concerts on his planet. She has a phobia about performing in public - dating back to when she was a young child. Knowing that the emperor is going to pay her a substantial sum of money to perform and knowing that money will be a huge bonus for the crew and ship she reluctantly agrees.
Tyree is her protector, her calm in the storm - literally. He has the ability to push calm into anyone and he does that with Grace in large doses. He knows she is his fated mate, she doesn't believe in them.
The contingent arrive on the planet and she takes Tyree's advice to center her attention on a doorknob at the back of the concert hall. Her first performance goes off without a hitch. But all is not as it seems and soon the crew are the victims of a betrayal. Most of the crew have to leave urgently leaving Tyree and Grace to perform their last night and that's when everything goes south. Will Tyree and Grace be able to escape the clutches of the emperor. Will they be rescued by the crew in time and what does the future hold not only for Grace and Tyree but for the entire crew.
Highly recommended read.

I think this is the best book of the series of three from Alana Khan. I love the page-turning plot line, the well-developed characters, and the sizzling AF sex scenes, but I really appreciatate the imaginative concepts like Tyree's trnasformation from caterpillar into butterfly, and how he uses his telepathic talents to help Grace overcome her severe stage fright. How do you think of these things???? Please keep them coming!

Everyone needs a Tyree

This seemed a quick read, which is not a problem. I liked the world build and the characters were dimensional. Tyree's internal conversations were very cute and real. The steamy parts were off the chart!

What a different out look on an aliens life. This poor kid started out without knowing what he was no particular sex. Then he sees her a girl struggling with her own demons, a girl who’s family had put her down daily, but her new nonsex friend is the best thing that has ever happened to her. Until he starts to change. Let’s just say that a three foot unknown becomes a huge muscular man that wants to keep his best friend forever. Love always wins. This is a great series and I recommend reading them in order.

Great read

Grace gets offered lots of credit to play a 3day concert. She has emotional problems. Three tries to help her and not push his mate claim on her. Great and exciting read. I really like this series.

This is the third book I’ve read in this rather interesting series about a group of galactic gladiators being held against their wills and their escape from captivity when the addition of kidnapped earth women give them the incentive to escape.

Now this is going to be a tricky review to write as there is a MAJOR spoiler given away at the end of the second book. So if you haven’t read the first or second book be warned.

One of the main characters in this book is Tyree, a most fascinating character. Tyree wasn’t or isn’t a gladiator. Instead Tyree is a rather small genderless almost elf-like person from a agricultural type planet who can do mind control and is quite instrumental in the escape of everyone. Now that the group has escaped and are all trying to figure out their roles in the space ship they have escaped on, Tyree is feeling unneeded now and not a contributing part of the crew. But one major thing has happened. Tyree has gone through what is kind of like puberty and has met the future mate and Tyree’s gender has now been released. And Tyree is having a difficult time dealing with it. And that’s all I’m going to say on the storyline itself.

I quite enjoyed this entry into the series. It’s at times sweet and funny and also suspenseful. Tyree is a real sweetheart but I’m not all that fond of Tyrees mate. But Tyree is all on board so I’m OK with that.

I’ve never read a book with this kind of twist and I found it unique. I recommend this series and although the second book was a bit of a let down for me, it’s picked up again with this book.

Loved this story characters that you want to get a HEA

He was stolen as a child of seven and had been a slave u til the rebellion. He was not gender base until he met his true mate, she caused him to evolve into a male. See how they each overcome their insecurities and reach the stars.

Another great read in this series.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Tyree's and Grace’s story. Excellent writing; great characterization and smoking hot sex scenes – what’s not to like?

This book was not my favorite, but still good in it’s own way. If you love heroines that start out meek and quiet, but progress into becoming their own, loud and proud person, I’d suggest this, plus it’s first love for both characters, and one of them is a virgin. ;}

***SPOILER AHEAD***

Now the thing that bugged me the most about this book, is that Grace was a virgin when she and the other women were abducted, and then when she was forced to “breed” with Shadow, it’s never more then simply mentioned. She apparently gets over her forced breeding real quick, and has no triggers about that whole—thing, but her past triggers her....which just didn’t make any sense to me. Apparently this is another moment of just a me thing, because it bothered me more then our heroine. But whatever!

Tyree and Grace

Grace is one of the 10 females kidnapped by aliens and now part of the Sweet Deliverance crew. She is shy and quiet and unlike the rest of the females in the ship ( they have all pair up with aliens) she hasn't had a easy time. She is a accomplish guitar player that entertains the crew but when her music goes viral in the depth of the universe, she is offered the opportunity to help her friends and earn credits. She has only to play for a audience for 3h. The problem?! She has a intense stage phobia. And here is where Tyreewill help her to soothe her anxiety with his psychic powers. Since his transformation from 3ft kid to a 6ft muscled man body both have made a effort to avoid each other. Both uncomfortable with their mutual attraction to each other. Great plot, packed with action, adventure, intrigue and red hot romance. Highly recommended

When I started to read this book I was not sure what to spect, if you have been following the series you would now that Tyree changes have been nothing less than extraordinary, and I was not sure how would end up.
I have to say my worries were unfounded; Grace and Tyree made the perfect couple sweet and charming with a hint of badass.

Book three in the Galaxy Gladiators series a book I was not putting down until I had finished it. That must have been so painful for Tyree as he grew from a small, female-looking elf into one hot male. Grace has been by his side the whole time as they have been very close friends. Grace and Tyree will go through so much especially a very evil Emperor, and romance between these two. We get two new people who are rescued Tawny and Devolose. I like Tyree's Drackhead. I want to read the next book in this series. I read a copy of this book through KU and I am voluntarily reviewing.

This was a really charming edition for this Gladiator series, Tyree as a character is rather sweet given his background as a non-gender as is the norm for his race. As also with the earlier novels in this series, I do love me a good happy ending (double endendre intended). Next!

As tender, soft and sensitive as the narrative is, the souls of Grace and Tyree are full of power, determined and exciting at the same time. Where one is consciously his strength and takes himself back, the other must first find it in herself and bring it to light.
Wonderful, brilliantly written, exciting, captivating, thrilling! It moved me deeply and is a clear recommendation to read, like the whole series.
Fantastic work Mrs. Khan, please like more, much more!

Sweet story between the main characters

It was very nice to see the "elf" transform to fully male emotionally. The book was kinda like a teen love in alien space. Each heroine has to overcome her inner fears to be happy, so i do like the authors plot and difference in characters.

Mixed feelings

I have mixed feelings about this book. I like the second book better than this one. I felt there were several unanswered questions. Such as did they still get the money? Why did Grace never open up about he lack of experience? How can she flip so fast to loving and wanting everything with him? Why when she finally has sex voluntarily did she not find pleasure?

I like the overall plot but felt there were holes in the story. The description of her playing music made me feel like a I was there. I will read the next book in the series

Omg! Grace was so annoying!! If you have to CONSTANTLY remind yourself that you're a badass, you just be a fucking poser. Plus, her internal ridiculous struggle as to why she couldn't be with him, so irritating. And in real life, people don't have an "Aha" light bulb moment when they realize their true feelings. I don't recommend this one. All you need to do is read the last 50 pages and you'll be good to go for the next book.

Tyree's transformation story

This story is about Tyree's transformation and his pursuit of his truemate. Unfortunately his truemate is screwed up and can't see a future with him even in the face of danger. Ok read.

4 1/2 stars!

I personally do NOT consider this to be a STAND-ALONE read. There are too many reoccurring characters, consecutive timelines and overarching themes that are built from the foundation laid by the first story (Zar). There are also a lot of details that occurred previously that would be lost, as they cannot be adequately explained within another story.

** There are multiple scenes, themes and references to subjects that will be difficult for sensitive readers. These include abduction, enslavement, forced mating, and trafficking. A high-level list is included below. **

— Although I try to watch it, if you have not read this (or the previous stories in the series), the following may contain spoilers. —

The world building continues … I am ❤️❤️❤️ this series! The characters are fun, but there seems to be a bit of disconnect here and there throughout the story where I wanted more surrounding the transformation of Tyree. Yes it deals with some things (and I love the conversation he has with another), but other parts not so much.

I mention the following for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors interrupt the flow. There are a few grammatical errors, but nothing difficult to interpret. These include incorrect word choice, incorrect word tense, incorrect punctuation, extra inserted data, transposed words, and missing words. There is also an inconsistency surrounding the ship’s name. I recommend these be corrected. I uploaded my notes to goodreads for anyone interested.

Blurb:

Abduction and a slave revolt were the least of their worries. Now they must combine forces to survive the wrath of an evil Emperor.

Grace

After surviving a horrifying alien abduction and slave revolt, I thought I was safe. I never expected this ship full of protective alien gladiators would need me to face my biggest fear—playing music in front of thousands. The public performances turn out to be the easy part. Now I must escape the clutches of the powerful Emperor who wants to enslave me. Can Tyree, the sexy male who has become my best friend, use his strength and psychic powers to save my life?

Tyree

I want so much more than the friendship Grace offers me. I vow to save her life. Maybe in the process, she’ll discover an attraction to me that’s as incendiary as my desire for her. As I stay by her side and protect her, she’ll see just how much she means to me as I risk my life to save hers.

⛔️ Contains references to, or scenes detailing, subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some, including, but not limited to: adult language; derogatory terms; mental health challenges with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD, etc.; steamy adult intimate scenes with dominance, submission, forced mating, etc.; violence throughout typical of the alien abduction genre such as kidnapping / abduction, murder / death, torture, assault, rape, fighting, human (species) trafficking, enslavement, pain/kill collar, mental, physical and sexual abuse of adults, prostitution, coercion, etc.

Eh this wasn't my fave book truthfully. Grace was super annoying and I could not marry the character of Tyree from being a 3 foot tall elf thing to being a huge cocked, 8 foot tall masculine man, none of it worked for me.

Grace is annoying and TSTL to be honest. She's a huge wet blanket and boring as all heck. She was literally raped and traumatized and it doesn't affect her at all, she literally forgives her abuser with no issues? she has no resentment or sexual trauma or anything she's just cool with it all? Then we have her personality, she's just bland. Meek, quiet and boring. Then we have her struggle? so her mom was a terrible parent and brought loads of men around and she feels she can't be in a relationship... for some reason? then out of nowhere she decides "yeah let's do this"?? seriouslyyyy?!

Then we have Tyree and I wanted to love him but just a book ago he was this tiny little girl elf who barely talks and was a slave pet then BAM he's a huge super jacked, super tall alien with a huge dick and constant hard on. it just felt... odd? to me. The change felt really quick and their personality goes from super sweet and demure and kind to alpha male in control, but they were learning to walk straight in their new body like a week ago? I just couldn't marry the two characters into one IMO.

Well, this was unexpected and very funny in away.
I really thought Tyree was a girl, to find out that back then he had no sex organs just makes me want to know how he went to the bathroom.
LOL!!!!!
However, I think I saw it since book one that he had a thing for Grace, his story is a little different then the rest since he was the captain's pet back then he was treated better than the rest of the warriors, I think his gifts were amazing, funny moments in this book as he was still adjusting to his cock, and his feelings for Grace didn't help the cause. However, he is all testosterones, the way he adores Grace and his protective ways are incredible. I think the author also did a great job paring them since one thing is sure they both are strong, yet gentle soul. The way I saw this was the author said what was needed about Tyree even though there was not much to say, unlike Grace's fears and traumas all she lived as a child. However, I think that the author left us hanging in a way i was expecting for Grace to sit with Tyree and tell her story and the reason why she acted the way she did, is a good action book with a strong kink on the emperor who had to go in the most unexpected way by Grace's hand.

Meh!

The story was lovely. Though it is not my favorite. Grace is somewhat immature. Atleast that's what I felt. What kind of idiot throws away their own chance of happiness because of something their mother did. She was a different person and so are you. Her choices do not define you. Just because your mother was miserable doesn't mean you've to be miserable too. Took her way too long to understand that.

Also, Tyree while devoted to Grace was incredibly, incredibly short-sighted in Dev's case. Come on who the heck bases their judgment on a silly childhood tale. That kind of stigma is off-putting. He didn't even try to verify the facts by checking Dev's mind. It was all decided on the basis on the one-sided glimpse of the emperor's mind. He even saw the evidence of his torment and still closed his mind to it.

I will not even start on the other females in the ship. They have never met Dev before, didn't even care to know their side of the story and decided the girl was mentally incompetent. Physical torture is one thing but questioning someone's mind is ridiculous. I am so angry with that short sighted bunch of fools.
