So, this will be a unpopular opinion. This book was long like 800pgs..it was quite repetitive, had grammatical issues. The color pink was mentioned 84 times..the overall story line I like, but I started skimming because of the profound wisdom the 25 yo FMC spouted to the 28 yo MMC, then few chapters later she must of forgot about the profound advice cuz she was doing the same thing, then we have his profound advice/wisdom for her…which he neglects to follow as well. Sex scenes were 4-5 pages long…no problem with them,other than the weird screaming of the other name during climax…if the sex is as intense as it was written in those 4 pages, I wonder how they are coherent enough to even scream out a name and then promptly pass out. Just weird…First book was good, this. One could have been split into 2 books and cut back some of the repetitive stuff, such and the second public confrontation with Cynthia, it was almost word for word.

This wild ride was intense to say the least. As Alexandra and Maximus continue to seek the identity of the Dark Senator and all of his lackies, their faith is put to the test over and over. While growing in their bond, their love blooms into something stronger than ever, but their past traumas rear their ugly heads as the people that caused the pain repeatedly try to treat them apart. It was full of a Gambit of emotions, and the fast pace makes it feel like it's over before it's begun, even with the massive size of this story. It definitely moved the story forward and had plenty of spice. I'm looking forward to seeing Maximus's reaction going into book 3!

BEWARE!! This is a good book with all kinds of goodies but book 3 still isn’t available with no release date insight. It’s a great story but ready for book 3 to show up.

Sigh
Book three will be a no for me. The mind numbing inner thoughts that seemed to go on forever .... I can't even.Not sure what purpose book two was for. Honesty felt like filler just to have a series than anything else. . Trying to keep up with the story was hard. We would get long drawn out thoughts and then back to whatever they were doing. By 60% I was fast flipping on my Kindle and frankly I didn't miss anything important. I could have read the first few chapters skipped to middle read a little more then skip to the last two chapter and I would have the same amount of knowledge that I would have had reading whole thing.
I really wish writers would stop dragging their books out and simply write a longer first book leave out all the inner mind uselessness thoughts and for the love of the lord leave out all this unnecessary trips and the sitting around shooting the s##t that has nothing to do with the plot .....
So ,no, I'm not reading the final book because of the displeasure I had reading book two . I have no more desire or care if she gets what she wants .And the constant introduction to other characters ( that seemed as if it was a set up for new series or one already out) and the detail given to appearance grated. This book was a roller coaster ride of emotions and adventure. The storyline is brilliant and one that takes the reader into the story itself, what are the characters are like your friends. Avery Stone is an author that is able to make the story one that you’ll read again and again. This is a storyline that throws you curveballs and exciting twists and turns drawing the plot out until you want just one more chapter. I love the way the story was crafted and could be real if in a twisted world view kind of way. You definitely can see the growth of the main characters not only in this book but from the previous one as well. The main characters faith was tested over and over not only in their search for answers but in each other as well. Their past keeps getting in the way of their present and future. I love Alexis and Maximus and the way they are with each other somehow breaks your heart one moment and makes it swell in another. As a couple they have faced adversity and challenges and are trying to overcome them as best they can. This is truly a great read. I can’t wait to find out what comes next.

I just have oh so many emotions rolling around right now. Goodness gracious, what a friggin BRILLIANT ride! Get ready to be taken on one doozy of an adventure everyone. Our fearless characters get thrown so many curveballs, surprises, twists and turns....there's action, sexy time, alpha males, fierce females, witty banter, and I lost count of how many jaw dropping moments graced these pages. Suffice to say there's not a single dull moment in the entire book 😉! Just be warned there is a rather massive c!iffy at the end....however the payoff is always worth it with our beloved author! I absolutely adore these characters, and the growth our King and Queen have shown in this book just warms my heart. Though I felt slightly psychotic in moments while reading this as I'd be LOL one moment, screaming at a character in my mind the next, then in another scene have tears in my eyes....that's always the sign of a great read. I can't wait to see what kind of chaos they get up to in book three!!!!!

Once again, Avery has given us another brilliant read!
In Rejected Gambit, Avery has done a fantastic job of creating and designing a magical world with clockwork waves that takes us from the present world to lost worlds with hidden treasures and different creatures, some foe and some allies. The different kinds of spells and magic was phenomenal.
Alexis is an amazing character. She has insecurities and anxiety that she may fail her loved ones but Max is always there to show her how truly strong and resilient she really is. It was great to see more of Max and his brothers and to learn more about their magic.
Rejected Gambit was nonstop rollercoaster of events since the beginning to the end. We learn more about the Dark Senator’s plans and we are introduced to new characters that I wouldn’t mind seeing again.
This book is great for anyone who loves rejected mates, fated mates, shifters, witches, hybrids and other supernatural characters. I highly recommend reading this series!

My continuous thought throughout the book is where do I find a Max! the ways he uses his control over frost made me go back and reread some parts. I love how the book changes POV and we can see into the two main characters minds. Something that is unique is for a few chapters and epic action scenes, Avery gave us a look at both POV for the same scene. It really helped the vision become solid in my mind.
I am always blown away at how descriptive Avery is with her characters. Right when I am sucked into the story and forget about hair or eye color, it is brought up. It really helps solidify how a character looks.
It was a little confusing to follow all the different points of view, but a simple flip back to the start of the chapter was all that was needed to remind me.
I cannot wait for the third book!

🔥 This book on FIRE 🔥
Alexis and Maximum gives you world wind of emotions in this book. The two of them could not keep there hands off each other and it seem like In almost ever other chapter they were getting down and dirty. Alexis showed a lot of her weaker side in this book but also how we try to live up to other people exceptions. Which can do a number on you mentally as a whole. Then we has Max being a very supportive boyfriend as she going through everything and just make say where can I find my Max. Max also was dealing with having a more powerful women then him self and feeling lesser because of it. Over all I enjoyed the book and can’t wait for the next because that ending was like wow. I can’t to find out what happens in the next book.

She's a thick one (the book). I love that Rejected Queen picks up where it left off. Book Two just dives right into action, leaving you thinking what more can happen! My eyes kept trying to jump ahead to make sure everything was going to be okay. There was a few times I had to stop and refocus because my brain was like "NO WAY! What is happening!? Again! How? Who? Why!?". I must say one of my favorite things about this book is learning more about Alexandra's brother in laws. These new and old characters are going to play with your mind and your emotions. Like most amazing books this one does leave you with a cliffhanger (aka book hangover).

Alexis and Maximus have fought so hard to defeat the Dark Senator and Everytime they win a trial he amps up his forces and causes havoc and chaos for our rejected duo. Everything about this book immerses you and keeps you enthralled. I laughed with the Atlas brothers antics and interactions with each other and the other characters. I was probed to anger with all the dark forces working against them. I cried at the loss of two beloved characters. This book will have you loosing sleep to find out what happens next to our favorite rejected couple. I cannot wait for the next installment of this series. Awesome book and highly recommended.

Surprising most, Alexis and the Atlas brothers are acknowledged as grandmaster rulers, by a person she knows well. Under cover of a wave, Max’s ex physically attacks Alexis while the Dark Senator looses a massive mental attack on her, as his cronies and helpers try to hedge their bets. Luckily, the Atlas’ are watching.
Too many characters, repetition, a villain without substance, a light storyline, Maximus and Alexandra’s multi-page, alternate chapter or less sex romps) combine to equal too much filler. 1600+ pages in two books made an overlong not epic read. There are many unanswered questions and possibly exciting gens hidden within but this reader no longer cares.

Alexandra Wolf is back! Alexandra and Max are back in action and trying to uncover some truths in the this installment of her story. Max continues to be just an amazing character and support for Alexandra and I loved him for it! There's a lot of moving pieces so this story never fails to keep you guessing and on your toes. There was a lot of emotional aspects to this book that really impacted our characters, how they felt about themselves and how they can move forward. I'm ready to see what's in store for them next!

We catch back up with Alexandra and Maximus as they continue to seek the identity of the Dark Senator and all of his lackies. Their faith is tested over and over again as they keep trying to find answers. Attempting to put their bond back together is a challenge as history keeps getting in their way. This makes for a riveting read as it all plays out full of unexpected surprises and twists that will blow your mind. I cannot wait to see what is in store for these two in book three. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

This book picks up where it left and let me to you .... takes you on an emotional Rollercoaster! The ups and downs the craziness of everything, mind boggling! what I love is how the characters have ups and downs but still show growth. Books where the characters are just cool with everything and it just "works out" has me in a state of wwwhhhaaatttt, how??!! Bc I would be a wreck too, which is why I love Averys books she makes her characters relatable. The cliffy has me up in a tizzy BUT always worth the wait.

very is my Jam and has been since day one her style has evolved so much and this story is a shiny example i Stan for Alexis and Max and everything they have been through to make them stronger Alexis is my BABBF(bad a$$ book best friend) and Max i mean who doesn’t wanna lick him? the Dark Senator is a thorn in everyone’s side and then we meet Honey… Oh how i hope for more Honey….Avery this story is the jelly to my peanut butter and can’t wait for RK and the finally by this point i love on the edge of the Avery Cliff

Couldn’t put it down
I have been waiting to read this book and I wasn’t disappointed. I couldn’t put it down. I love Alexis and Maximus. I love how they can be their true selves with each other. Their chemistry is off the charts hot! Except for the bedroom scenes, which seem to be all about ice and fire, steamy! I can’t wait to see how the continue to bond and what new powers or abilities they might develop. I hope some of their enemies get destroyed in the next book. It’s time they had a big win, not that finding the swords isn’t a win.

I loved this second book in the life of Alexandria wolf . Her mate Max her equal in everything , even down to having 3 personas as Alexis does. They couldn’t be a better fit. They have each suffered at the hands of others which has surely made them stronger,which they will need to be to find the last couple swords and find and get rid of the dark senator. I can’t wait for the next book in this series from Avery Stone. She never disappoints.

So So Good
I really love this story of Alexandra and Maximus. It is such an epic story. However, I don't know if it needed to be as long as it was even though the period of time for both books (Rejected Queen and Rejected Gambit) was short. There was so much action, but also so much internal angst within the FMC and the MMC that some of that internal dialogue became a little repetitive even though they worked it out in such cool ways. I can't wait for Rejected King!

Finally got to read this!
I read the first book in earlier this year and I have been eagerly waiting this book 2. Alexis is beginning to recall some things she's forgotten, and it adds depth to the story. She's slowly becoming more of a powerhouse too. The shifting perspectives between Alexis and Maximus don't detract from the story at all. Also there is quite a bit of spice. I'd say two ish peppers worth.

A beautiful story
Wow! What a story! Alexandra and Maximus are absolutely made for each other. Even though their journey is rough, I know they will get their happily ever after. They deserve it after all The Dark Senator has put them through, especially in this book. I know I can not wait to read how everything will come together in the end and how The Dark Senator will meet their doom.

This was such a heavy book emotionally, but it shows that you can rise up against negativity and rejection to become a strong badass.
I can't wait to see what happens with Su's prophecy, and all the Altas's find their mates, and when will echo realise about evy. I have a feeling that will be epic
My heart nearly broke with that ending, so tragic and powerful. I seriously don't know how I'm going to wait till February for the next installment.

More sex then fifty shades books
While I love the series the story got lost.
I feel in love with the first book it took me on an adventure and which I was thrilled about.
Butthis book let me down there was to much sex every 4 pages of actual story there was 10 pages of sex I ended up skipping most of it as it was the same thing over and over again.

Read twice!
I loved this book so much, that when I wasn't in the mood for any of the books out there, I decided to read this book again. It was just as wonderful the second time around as it was the first time! I love this authors writing, as both Avery Stone and Avery Song, she writes intriguing stories that captures your mind and heart. So absolutely yes, I would definitely recommend!

Fantastic as always!!
Avery stone is fast becoming my favourite author without a doubt.
I love Alexis and maximas their such a power couple 😎. Always lots of action , laughs and love scenes. I can't wait to see where their story goes next. I want to read book 3 like now!!

I mean I can't even describe how amazing these are.
This book gives you EVERYTHING. Romance, hot sexy scenes, love, but it also takes you on a ride of emotions. There are so many wise life lessons in the books so far. It has made me feel all of the feelings. Amazing. I just can't even describe how much I love these. Amazing writing, amazing journey, thank you for sharing this with us.

You sure did deliver such a lovely roller coaster of emotions. Happiness, anger, elation, and even tears. I am loving as the puzzles pieces of the story for everyone is coming together. I love the bond between Echo and Alexis. I especially loved the intro of Evy into her life as well. I’m so glad that others have found their mates ❤️. Thank you again for a wonderful second book! Can’t wait for book 3 to come out next month.

So much potential
I love the storyline but honestly had to start skimming because the entire book is full of advice... like ALOT of it.. and my husband and I are teasers, we laugh with each other, we have fun... but many of these scenes between Alexandra and Maximus just felt forced... and the whole bullying of Edwin and Raf, trying to catch them was just weird. I've stuck around for the plot but honestly... it took me far too long to finish this..
I love the storyline but honestly had to start skimming because the entire book is full of advice... like ALOT of it.. and my husband and I are teasers, we laugh with each other, we have fun... but many of these scenes between Alexandra and Maximus just felt forced... and the whole bullying of Edwin and Raf, trying to catch them was just weird. I've stuck around for the plot but honestly... it took me far too long to finish this..

Another Masterpiece!!
Avery has done it again!!
She wrote a completely amazing world that makes you feel as if you are really there and she has a way to make the characters so relatable with real issues!!
This book has it all!! Bad@$$ heroine that at times feel vulnerable(like we all do at times), A hot Alpha that wants to protect said heroine, and a bad guy trying to use the destructive waves to his/her advantage!!
Cannot wait to see what book will bring!!!❤❤❤
