Have I dreamt my entire life about going on a date with Jamie LeMont? Yes. In my most mystical and fantastical dreams did I imagine he’d only be here because he was forced to be? Absolutely not.
But I can improvise. Fate led me halfway, now I’ve gotta do the leg work.
Following the death of his sister, world famous drummer, Jamie LeMont, spirals into a pit of depression, relying on alcohol to drown her memory.
Victoria Green is insensitive. Selfish. And has been obsessed with Jamie’s band forever. Except when she meets him in real life, she’s disappointed and finds that she can’t stand his careless, drunken attitude.
But when the two are forced to fake date in order to rectify Jamie’s reputation, after his reckless behavior has landed him unwanted attention from the media, they find that they have more in common than they ever could have predicted.
Still—they can’t stand each other.
Will they be able to maintain this farce for the media, or will too much time spent together turn this arrangement into more than a business relationship?
Self-proclaimed romance junkie. Lover of music. Too invested in the lives of fictional characters. Bestselling author Lexi Kingston has been enamored by fictional worlds since she was a child. She became obsessed with the allure of crafting characters people could relate to.
Lexi writes sweet, no spice contemporary romance (Lexi Kingston) and paranormal romance (Lexi J. Kingston) books with characters who fight for and find home in each other.
When she’s not plotting or writing, she’s likely submerged in a book. And when she’s not reading… well, she’s probably writing again because she’s a workaholic who loves her job.
An incredible story of tragedy and love, finding the perfect person, no one else could be so healing. I thought Remember December was good, but Endure May is a tour of force.

Out of everything I’ve written, Endure May holds an extra special place in my heart. I've never had writer’s block like I did when I started working on Tori and Jamie’s story. Tori is a complex character, and in order to create the character development I envisioned for her, I had to convey her snotty and self-centered nature in a way that also humanized it to give her room for change.
After 20,000 words and no idea where I was going with the rest of the story, I took a step back when it was time for college classes to start up again. Then, nine months later after I’d written Come Nightfall and started In the Moonlight, I sat outside on a hot summer afternoon and began writing again – this time with a plan. A feeling.
I couldn't be happier with the way their relationship developed, and I hope you fall in love with them and their stories, messy and all, the way I did.
Jamie is going through a black hole he is trying to climb out of. I didn't love Tori I felt she was very selfish & mean . Tori barely redeemed herself before the book ended. Jamie is trying to be better for himself & the band . It was a angsty book that doesn't have a traditional happy ending . I think in the next book we will be reading more about Jamie & Carson .
Credit to the author for writing an unlikable heroine I was actually rooting for. I think my biggest issue was the ages of the characters. The two main characters were 21 and the side characters ranged from 16-22. There were times where all of them read as much older and then other times they all very much felt like high school
