Grandpa Pirate wants to retire, and he is looking for someone to take his place as captain of his ship, the mighty Pickled Pearl. So, he gives Patrick a quest to prove if he is a good candidate for that position.
A wonderful book where the reader can choose the decision to take in every chapter. It is a very good way to teach children how to think before taking a decision because depending on what you do, you will have different results.

Definitely the perfect book to learn math. The characters are adorable. Young children will love it and want to read or be read to again and again.
