Return to Silver Stone, where the legacy of love is ready to bloom again.
Ginny Stone wants to be a vital part of her family’s ranching success, but nothing is the same as it was three years ago, and now she’s not sure where she fits in. To add to her troubles, her big brother’s best friend has shown up—the sexy lover Ginny’s been keeping secret for years.
During idyllic childhood summers, Tucker Stewart visited with his uncle, made friends with the Stone children, and slowly learned how to become a valuable part of Silver Stone ranch. Tragedy derailed his plans once, but when his uncle hints at retirement, Tucker’s opportunity to take over as foreman is suddenly back on the table. Which means finally getting a chance at forever with the seductive and elusive Ginny as well.
With both Tucker and Ginny feeling the need to show their worth, it’s only natural they team up. Operation Prove It is now in play, and the stakes are more than a paycheque. Nothing less than their hearts are on the line.

Ginny Stone and Tucker Stewart are getting a chance to follow their hearts after years of stolen moments and what-ifs. I absolutely love every little moment they share - together and with family and friends. It's full of plenty of heart that had me hitting the feels hard - laughing, crying, desire to have what they have with their family, heated to the core, and more laughing.
This came with a little mystery / treasure hunt. OMG! Ginny's search and the heartfelt love that created it all was amazing. I'm tearing up just thinking about it hours after the book concluded. 🤗❤️💜💛🤍💙🤎🩵🩷😢
I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is Tatiana Sokolov. She does a wonderful job.
It's been a while since we have gotten to spend any measurable time with Ginny, so I was excited to read this one. The one thing I didn't expect while reading this one was to be in tears so many times, sometimes they were happy tears, sometimes they were sad tears, sometimes they were tears of what these "kids" missed when the Stone parents died. I loved what a big presence the parents made in this book, loved the "puzzle" that was left for Ginny and how they all worked together to figure things out, allowing them to build their bond stronger as a family.
The romance between Ginny and Tucker seemed to be a done deal, they had such a long history, but finally the timing worked for them to be a real couple. The only big obstacle was telling Ginny's family and that was done in a way to leave no question as to what was going on and everyone better get on board quickly.
The other thing that I really liked in this one was how Ginny and Tucker were both struggling to find themselves a bit. Both faced big challenges in their lives as to what the next step was going to be. Ginny's idea of them having a meeting with each other to check in on where they were in their plans was great! It allowed them to build their relationship and have someone at their back cheering them on.
I really loved how this one ended, loved finding out the secret of the ring, thought it very fitting and glad that Ginny shared that very valuable piece of knowledge with Tucker.
I sit her with happy and emotional tears in my eyes after finishing this book, no, this story about people I have to come care about and love. That is what this authour does amazingly, she makes her characters alive for you, with every thought, moment, expression, and feeling. The simple phrases between two best friends-became-sisters, “I love you Truth, I love you Dare”, to a memory of a man who stepped up into a young boy’s life, giving him love and guidance when he had none at home. To a mother’s love from the beyond, setting up a moment she expected to be there for, but never had a chance to fulfil.
But those are moments that shape and shaped our couple, and made them part of something bigger. It wasn’t expected they would be together, teenage girls don’t often end up with their crushes, but the time was right. Timing wasn’t quite there on everything, but on enough things for these two to take a chance. It developed, it grew, and they went along with it until all the moments added up and they became each other’s current and future. Ginny’s home, and so is Tucker, and they are both where they want to be, together, and in each other’s arms and deeply in love <3
This was a sweet story about love that has endured long distance and time. No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings Good dialogues A great storyline that builds up to a happy ending The characters is well described and developed in to realistic personalities I love this series that’s kind of a family saga
Very entertaining novel, a Hallmark movie in book form
"A Rancher's Love " book 4 in the Stones of Heart Falls series by Vivian Arend was as entertaining and heartwarming as the previous books in the series. Each novel in the series has dealt with a different member of the Stone Family and this time the focus is on Ginny Stone.
I loved the mystery puzzle included in this story that emphasized the Stone Family dynamics. The only way the Stones have been able to survive in the ever changing world of ranching, has been by working together. The way Vivian Arend builds this family saga, adding one family members story at a time and showing how each individual contributes to the whole of the family is what makes this series so enjoyable. Vivian Arend makes Ginny and the rest of her family seem real. You can feel the love they have for each other. In one scene at the gravesite of their parents the grief is palpable, and so like my own when I visit my parents gravesite, I was overwhelmed. All I could do is cry.
I especially liked how Ginny could only solve the puzzle her mom left her by working together with her siblings. Each individual sibling contributed to the ranch in an unique way. To solve the puzzle ,each individual held a piece of the whole mystery, and only when every person laid down their piece could the puzzle be revealed. It was a masterful way to describe the beauty of family who vows to work together and play together against all odds.
Once again, while reading "A Rancher's Love" I felt like I was backstage at a Hallmark movie production. I didn't just read this book, I lived It! And that is what bestselling fiction should be about. A best selling novel should be so relatable, the reader should become an active participant in the story! Vivian Arend makes that happen. I can hardly wait to read ,Dustin Stone's story in "A Rancher's Vow".
The Stones of Heart Falls have seen it all, happiness, heartache and tragedy, but through it all they remained together and supported each other. In Book 4, A Rancher’s Love, Ginny Stone finally returns home. She knows she’s coming home to family but to what else she isn’t sure. Her future isn’t clear to her and she’s not exactly sure how she is going to fit in after having been away for such a long time. She’ll have to work at fitting in and getting to know her family and friends all over again. Add in Tucker Stewart, her big brother’s best friend and also her secret lover and it’s a strange but welcome homecoming.
Tucker Stewart has known Ginny for a long time and when tragedy struck Heart Falls Ranch years before, his plans were derailed. Now, it seems as if things are finally working out and he might just be able to get all of his ducks in a row and also get a chance at making Ginny his forever. The thing is does Ginny want the same?
Ginny is unsettled upon her return and she’s glad to be distracted by sexy Tucker and solving a family puzzle. The sorrow of the hole left in the family with the deaths of their parents is palpable in the story and the diary extracts. Remembrances of the times with their parents and things that happened can bring tears to the fore, so be prepared.
As well as getting Ginny and Tucker’s story, readers also get to see other characters from previous stories – the numerous Stones as well as some Colemans, and see what they are up to.
Another great read in the series, but make sure you have read the other books first or you might get lost with the different pairings and kids and who is who. I can’t wait for Dustin and Alex’s stories to continue what happens to the Stones and those in their circle.
I really enjoyed this story! It pulled me in from beginning to end and I loved Ginny and Tucker. They have had a little something something going on for years when they are in the same area/can get together but it's never been more than that due to the fact that they are not in the same are. Tucker has thought about it being serious but that opportunity was never really there, until now that is. I loved how these two interacted with each other. It was clear they were really good friends first and foremost. I loved their communication as well. We get to see them move past the friends with a little something more into territory of it being more and dating but still keeping it a secret with Tucker's new position and then being open about it. They were both figuring out what their next steps were and they were doing it together. This was an easy one to read and engage with and I really enjoyed it. I loved getting to see the presents that Ginny's mom had put away and watching how that unfolded throughout the story was great. I can't wait to see what comes next! The narrator did a great job with the story and bringing it to life as well.
The long awaited story of Ginny's homecoming and love story has finally arrived. Since day one I knew it would take one heck of a guy to win her heart and tame her. She knows what she wants but after being gone for three years, she doesn't know where she fits in anymore. This is a story of a lost woman finding her way. She has to learn where she fits in with the family, with the business and with the love of her life.
But when Tamara gives her a long lost present from her parents, she is thrown for a loop. It's a puzzle she has to figure out and no one can decipher the code. Until they work together as a family. Long lost presents, secret loves, internalized anger and frustration; so much is happening in this book.
But my favorite part was the end when Dare and Jesse come to Heart Falls to visit at the end. Another long lost present is revealed. It's a true family get together with all of the Stones and quite few of the Colemans. It's great to see them all together as a family unit. I'm looking forward to Dustin's story in the future.
Definitely loved this emotion packed story. The special love between Tucker & Ginny was beautiful, sweet & fun. Their story mixed with a family mystery was definitely a tear jerker but was also packed with so much fun & humour, it was an amazingly perfect balance. Nine years of secret rendezvous with Ginny are over as Tucker comes home to his favourite place for Christmas & is offered the opportunity to stay permanently. I enjoyed the mischievous side of Ginny but also her strength & how much she loved Tucker & her family. Tucker was the perfect hero as he championed Ginny to find her fit within the ranch & how much he loved & appreciated Ginny & her family. So many sweet moments, so many sexy ones & so many tears shed while reading this story. Definitely recommend to read.
In this story Ms. Arend seems to have forgotten that all fiction must contain a conflict of some sort. In romances it's usually an obstacle that the couple, or at least one of them, must overcome in order to achieve a satisfying, loving, long-lasting relationship. I got 53% into this book without finding anything of the sort. Everything seemed to be working well, not just for Ginny and Tucker but for the whole Stone clan. Sure, Ginny and Tucker were each trying to figure out how they could best fit into the fabric of this family, but there didn't seem to be any major obstacles in their way. Maybe there were, but I got tired of waiting, so I skipped to the last chapter and epilogue. It seems that much of the plot had to do with the mystery of the gift her mother had left Ginny, but by 53% of the way through the book, I was just too tired of reading about how happy everyone was to care anymore.
I wavered between giving this book 2 or 3 stars, but the characters were likeable, and the writing style (grammar, sentence structure, spelling, etc.) was good, so I settled on 3. Those who have read the first books in the series and want to see how the other couples are doing now might enjoy this much more than I did.
A nice conclusion to the return to Silver Stone Ranch.
Ginny Stone left Silver Stone three years ago to study abroad. Now she has returned home but everything is different and she does not see how she fits in. She wants to find a way to contribute to the success of the Stone family ranch. Returning home also will reunite her with the best friend of her brother who she has been having a secret affair with.
Tucker Stewart always felt at home with the Stone children. Now with his uncle retiring he gets the opportunity to become a valuable part of Silver Stone ranch and to also finally to have an open relationship with Ginny. How will her family take to the news of them having a relationship?
Wow, this story had all of my emotions engaged right from the start. The prologue went back 22 years to give us the background we needed for the rest of the book.
Tucker and Ginny get their HEA but the Stone family goes through some challenging times first. The sexy time between them is really hot but overall, I just loved how much this story was about family.
The story touched me so much that by the end I was crying happy tears and sympathetic tears. That happens when I really love a book.
A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me at my request; my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.
Love the prove it concept and this couple is up to the challenge and more than willing to put their best foot forward. They have established chemistry (page melting) and testing the waters for something more is an agreeable and entertaining addition to their relationship. Very emotional and romantic story with verbal and physical confirmations. Love the firm foundation of family love that is also depicted, family life is never perfect so they have their issues but they love without the drama. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to read and leave a review.
*CW* Death of parents This one was more emotional for me. We learn a lot more about when the Stone/Hayes clan lost their parents and how it affected each one, but especially Ginny and Tucker. Ginny and Tucker were a delightfully mature couple who knew how to go after what they want, accept responsibility, and apologize when needed. No real angst in the relationship no om/ow drama. I enjoyed it, the emotional parts were done in the best way and it was nice to see MCs who recognize what they have as well as what they lost. Vivian Arend never disappoints.
This is a better women's fiction than a romance because while there is definitely a love story going on, most of the relationship has already happened before the book began. They grew up together. She's been crushing on him since she was in her early teens. They've been having sex as circumstances allow for nine years now. They're finally in the same place again, and that's all it took. There is not a lot of drama and little character growth. While it's a sweet story, it wasn't particularly interesting.
This is the first story I listened to by Vivian Rend. it can be read as a standalone, but from I listened to the characters are interconnected within the series. I love Ginny and Tucker fun, loving sexy relationship. It's built on love, trust, and companionship. I love the famIly and friends , how they look out for each other. Vivian Arend gives this family life, fun, love, loss. the main theme is to work together as a team, Loved this story and Tatiana Sokolov brings out all the love, joy, and sadness in this audio. Very well done. I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review.
The only daughter/sister of the Stone family has returned home after being gone for 3 years trying to find her footing on the ranch. She started a sexual relationship with Tucker years ago and wants to start up again. Tucker wants more than a booty call and has to tread carefully not to scare her away.
I liked mystery of the birthday gift that her mother made for Ginny the year that she died. It was a little treasure hunt that involved the whole family. I got to hear from Dare more in this story. I need to find her story.
Wow! What a beautiful story about Ginny and Tucker. You will definitely get tears in your eyes in certain parts of this story. There are also funny parts in this story. Ginny's dream finally comes true as does Tucker's. It was fun trying to figure out the puzzle with Ginny. What a wonderful way to end Ginny's and Tucker's story. FANTASTIC job Vivian! I would recommend this book!
Another hot level headed Cowboy. Such a great story, part of a series. You won't be disappointed. Some drama, suspense and lots of family. The family is close knit and works hard together on a horse farm. Love a big strong ranch hand in charge of everything and still finds time for romance and protecting the ranch. The women help their men ....
This was a storyline that pulled me right in. Love the way how the two main characters grew up together but kept there fillings a secret from the rest of her family and his best friend. At times it was quite emotional but than something would happen that brought a smile to lips. All round it’s a beautiful love story. The narrator really know how to bring the character alive. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this audiobook.
Love Ginny and Tucker. Brothers best friend are always great stories
Ginny has had a crush on Tucker since she was a teen and he would summers with his uncle at Silver Stone ranch. Now they have been having a secret relationship for years until she left for three years for traveling. Now she is home to stay and Tucker has come back. Will they pick up their secret relationship again or finally make it public and permanent?
I found Ms. Arend about a year ago and read through the Coleman’s and the Stones and discovered one of the few authors that I enjoy rereading! With Ginny’s story, I laughed, I cried, and I fell even more in love with Walter and Deb’s children. It’s a gift I hope Ms. Arend continues to share with us for a very long time.
Such a beautiful love story. Tucker and Ginny have keep their love a secret for years, but that is coming to a end. A birthday present for Ginny brings Her Mom and Dad’s loss back to the family, the present is a mystery to be solved by the Family. And the gift brings the family together and their future is bright! Hope You Enjoy the Book ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thoroughly entertaining and a delight to be back amongst these great people. Once again I smiled, I cried and I wished like hell I was part of a family that loves like these people do. I just felt the relationship between Ginny and Tucker was on a back burner for too long. Yes, life and work got in the way and I partially agreed with Ginny that Tucker especially, needed to get his feet under him with the new job without everyone butting into their private life. It just felt that they could have, at least verbally, been more positive about what they wanted and where they were heading. BUT, once they went public, it was an emotionally joyous and at times sad ride. The whole surprise puzzle twist from her parents was so heartbreaking, (due to being delayed by death) and beautiful due to the memories and moments for this family that will now be remembered forever. This is my honest review of this book.
Have the whole series starting with the Coleman's. Great tradition to Heart Falls. Tucker's story about the bus ride was epic. Adorable about the stone in the ring. Looking forward to Dustins story.
Caught my interest and never let go. Love this series and the characters because they're like my actual family. Good story line, easy to relax and enjoy. Almost like going home when I was that age.
Another great book in the series. Ginny &Tucker are amazing together and separate. To hear Tucker’s story is sad and happy Amat the same time. Can’t wait for the next book in this series.
I have really enjoyed reading this entire series. The Stone Family story is full of happiness and sadness but most importantly love of each other. I am seriously looking forward to the next books in the series
Wow way to prolong a relation... Glad Ginny and Tucker finally got to bring their relationship into he light and have their HEA. This family truly is strong and better together. Can't wait for more of the Stone clan and Hearts Falls
This whole family is just so loving and always there for each other but it's been so great to finally read Ginny and Tucker's story. They were meant to be together with all of the love for each other. Can't wait to read Dustin's story!
