Hypothetically speaking, if someone owned a dog, and that dog broke into someone else’s apartment, licked their toes, ate their pizza, and then fell asleep on their couch, that dog should be punished, right?
Probably.
But what if that someone else was the most beautiful man in the world? And the dog’s owner was a really nice guy looking for love and that someone else was exactly his type?
The dog should get all the pizza he wants until the end of times. No take backs.

A. M. Rose is a pseudonym that hides two people trying to write books one nervous breakdown at a time. How do you co-write books when you live countries apart, you ask? By sending weird texts at 3 in the morning and giving no context. The stuff dreams are made of. Opposites in every way, the chaotic energy is harnessed for the good of everyone by creating worlds no one asked for. You're welcome.

Book 2.5 is just a short interlude. But I do recommend reading it. I suspect Jamie, the new addition to Daydream, will play a role in the following.
This book is definitely funny and it also has a nice sad component but not too much. Overall a lovely short piece, with a touch of spice. 😉

Dylan is incredibly charming.

“The deal was you only get compliments when you look cute. If you look cute every day, then I’ll have to see you every day. It’s just how the rules are. We can’t go changing them all willy-nilly. The world would erupt into pure chaos.” 🥰

And of course Buck, he is an essential part of this story.

He’d just introduced himself to a dog. The dog barked in response, making Jamie squeak and jump a foot in the air. His heart hammered in his chest and he placed a palm over it to stop it from jumping out. “Oh my god, I almost just died,” he whispered, his breaths coming in short puffs. 🤣😂🤣

How on earth is the one sex scene in this adorable little novella hotter than any of the sex scenes from the previous three books combined?! 🤣 Seriously, despite my complaints, I’m totally invested in this world. This novella is super sweet like the prequel novella is (whereas the full length novels are heavier) and such a fun addition.

Quirky and cute, but want to have somewhat of a build-up. This is more insta-love.

There were two things a did not not appreciate, during their first date.

Mischief was a funny and quirky low-angst freebie that the author released as part of a Pride Promo Giveaway on Prolific Works. What's quirkier and more adorable than a mastiff that delivers pizza and then makes himself right at home at a stranger's place? Wonderful returning to Daydream and eating a slice of pizza with a mastiff and an adorable new couple :) I'm also ready for a certain librarian's life to turn upside down in Whirlwind!

Loved this novella in the Daydream series! Love at first sight is usually reserved for the humans but Buck adores Jamie. After Buck helps himself to pizza and a nap, Jamie attempts to have him removed only to come face to face with Dylan. Everything about Jamie fits Dylan's ideal man but it's clear that Jamie has had some bad experiences with other guys. I loved that every time Jamie is sure that Dylan is going to pull away or be embarrassed by him Dylan proves him completely wrong.

Short slice of life romance

Looking for low angst? Wondering how Dylan and Jamie met?

This is basically the Meet Cute for Dylan, owner of Pizza & Paws and his squeeze, Jamie. It's romantic and funny and sweet, but I can't really call it a "story" because there's no conflict. It's short enough you don't really miss it.

Authors have the most wonderful, imaginative covers that I can't help admiring. I somewhat liked this book, it was better than Hearwood, less cringe-y, but not on par with the Blindspot which is my favorite of the series so far.

A cute and light little short that lets us get to know more about the town's pizza delivery dog and his owner. The setup was sweet, the angst was present but low, and things moved quickly but without feeling forced. Definitely a nice in between little short!

As short as it was it was cute.
With the love at first sight and the "dreams come true" "person designed just for you" but I guess it suits Daydreamers. And not gonna lie. Jamie's description and style was refreshing and not common for usual MM characters.
