자신이 죽어야 남주가 새 가이드인 여주를 만나 각성한단다.

결국 원작에서 무사히 퇴장하기 위해
가사상태에 빠지는 독초를 먹고 죽은 척 연기하지만-

“제 가이드가 더는 숨을 쉬지 않는데.”

“도대체 누가 저를 멈출 수 있단 말입니까?”

남주가 각성하다 못해 폭주를 해 버렸다?

“이것도 새로운 장난인가?”
“아뇨. 도련님께 더는 가이드가 필요하지 않으니…….”
“샤나.”

블리스가 부드럽지만 단호한 목소리로 그녀를 불렀다.

“나를 우스꽝스럽게 만들어도 좋고, 바보처럼 속여도 좋고, 얼마든지 나를 가지고 놀아도 좋은데.
나를 떠나겠다는 말은 장난으로도 하지 마.”

블리스는 그린 듯 아름다운 미소를 지으며 샤나에게 속삭였다.

“그건 아무리 나라도 봐줄 수가 없어.”

Ending my 2025 reads with another 5-star manhwa.

This is a shoujo romance tale. Isolated locations, magical powers, fluffy sidekick familiars (aka guardians), fancy balls, and other common tropes appear. Some bad guys get punished, our leads fall for each other, and a fluffy dragon gives good sarcasm. It tries to be edgy by exploring toxic relationships. The ML is abused by his family and neglected for years and becomes obsessed with someone who shows him kindness. In this version of events she fakes a death which causes him to have a mental breakdown and is forced to remain in his presence while under attack from others. In another version she dies and reincarnates to serve him again but ultimately becomes a shell unable to leave. It's a bit dark for the "fluffy" portrayals at work here. I thought the narrative did well to keep the characters likable enough, but it has some rough patches. Mostly because it takes awhile for them to open up, get on the same page, and start working together against common enemies. Further, deities do the handwaving behind the scenes instead of specific explanations.
