"Do what? Hang out at local coffee shops? Well, of course. I'm a big believer in supporting small businesses."
"You know that's not what I'm asking. Do you hit on a lot of your students?"
"I've never been inappropriate with a student. I value professionalism, and that would be wrong." He focuses his blue eyes on me. There's so much heat in his gaze that I feel like it could burn me. "But with you, I can't help wanting to do the wrong thing."
I shiver, telling myself that it's because of the cold matcha latte. "Professor — "
"Call me Landon."
"Landon." His first name feels like a naughty word on my tongue. "You're my professor. I'm your student."
"Thank you for stating obvious facts."
I glare at him. "I'm stating the obvious because you're acting like you don't understand the obvious."
"Go to dinner with me."
Oh, for the love of Christ. "Professor — "
"I told you to call me Landon."
"Whether I call you Landon or Professor, I can't go to dinner with you. Besides, I have to go home and study."
"I can help you study."
Lust courses through my blood at the idea of a private tutoring session with Landon/Professor McCarthy.

Loved the idea of the professor and student romance, but I was a little turned off how remised the male character is with his role as a professor and his professionalism. I know this is fantasy, but can't they both have guilty and have reckless abandonment somewhere down the line?
Anyways, what does a drunken night with friends usually leave you with a bad hanger over and possibly the walk of shame? Well, Ms. Cheryl is probably dealing with both of that and possibly the idea she had a one night stand with rando hot guy sleeping by her. But, that morning she has her first day of classes and doesn't want to be late. Also, not being the proper guest, she doesn't leave a note saying thanks and see ya or here's my number? Anyways, once in class Professor McCarthy is late. Low and behold who walks in?? Dah da dunnn...(cue in tacky music) rando hot due aka one night stand is Professor McCathy. But, Landon McCarthy is not done with miss Cheryl and wants to get to know her. But throws caution to the wind and goes after the young student. But, there is someone waiting to recapture miss Cheryl's heart. will the new love interest pass?? This is a short and quick read with unbelievable antics. Yet I still read it anyways

This is a sexy and steamy fast paced romance with strong characters in Cheryl and Landon. The author brings a student/professor romance with some drama ,anxiety and hot chemistry. She moves the story quickly and smoothly with her vividly painted scenes and great banter and delivers an entertaining read.

This is Book 3 in the Alpha Male U Series and my first read by this author. And I must say that I quite liked the storyline and the characters. It is a steamy professor student romance between Cheryl and Landon. These likeable souls and the unique plot make for an enjoyable read. What starts out as a one night stand turns into something more. It is a romantic adventure with combustible attraction, frustrating moments, humor, steam, twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. A quick read with a happy ending. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other books in the series.

Cheryl finds that her boyfriend Dan cheated on her with Donna who called Cheryl a racial slur. She goes drinking with her friends but they end up leaving her and she's so drunk that she ends up waking up in a strange man's bed. She sneaks out and makes it to her Calculus class and finds that her stranger is her Professor Landon McCarthy. Such a fun story with drama, passion, steam, and romance. Love the chemistry between these two. Landon makes sure Cheryl knows that he's in their relationship for the long term. 'Professor' is a sweet novella with a Student/Professor taboo theme. Cheryl wakes up in the bed of a handsome man after a drunken girls night just after being dumped by cheating boyfriend. Surprise! It turns out the man is her hot new Calculus professor. Landon refuses to ignore their attraction and pursues Cheryl regardless of consequences. Cheryl's drunken night turns into more than she bargained for as Landon is possessive, protective, and gives her as many o's as she can handle.

Our heroine may have had too much to drink, but that didn't seem to bother her one-night stand who now wants to make it a more permanent relationship. Too bad he is her professor.
This is a short erotic romance with a taboo theme. The story is well written and easy to read with a small but effective cast. The story moves along at a good pace with plenty of steam along the way. The plot is not complicated, but it is fun nonetheless and leads to a nice tidy conclusion. Overall, it made for a pleasant evening read.

After learn her boyfriend , Dan of three years has been cheating on her with one of the mean girls, Cheryl broke up with him and ended up getting drunk and woke up in a strange bed with a strange man. Being the first day of classes at Arthur Marshall University, Cheryl had to jump out of bed, dress and run to class. When she arrived at her first class her professor was also late, but when he enter the classroom Cheryl was shocked to see that her professor is the same guy she shared a bed with, Professor McCathy. After class Landon McCathy asked Cheryl to stay and that’s when he told her how he feels about her and know Cheryl feels the same about him. What will Cheryl decision be, be with him or report Professor McCathy to the Dean?

This actually my first book by Ms. Isla and I will be back for more. I really enjoy Cheryl and Landon together. I really enjoyed the forbidden connection and chemistry between these two. Landon and Cheryl met on night when Cheryl is drunk and Landon took her home to keep her safe. The very next more, Cheryl discovers that the man who was next to that morning was none other than her professor. There is some drama, lots of steam, love, comedy and a really sweet HEA. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it.

Cheryl and her friends went out drinking to help Cheryl get over the betrayal of her boyfriend of 3 years cheated on her with a girl who had made fun of her and bullied her. Cheryl wakes up the next morning in a strange bed with a hot man next to her. She has no memory about what happened and she wants to escape and rush to her first Calculus class at college. Her new professor is rumored to hate late arrivals and electronics in his class. Cheryl barely makes it to class on time and is annoyed her professor is late. When Professor Mc McCarthy walks in, Cheryl is shocked to find out that it was the guy she woke up next to in bed. Landon McCarthy demands that Cheryl meet him in his office after class. Cheryl is very surprised when Landon makes it clear he would like to see her again.

Professor is a fast hot and steamy story of a drunken night turning into so much more. Cheryl goes out the night before class starts with her friends and has bit too much to drink, when she wakes up next to a hot stranger she realizing she is late to class. In class she is shocked the man she woke up next to is teaching the class.
Landon has such a laid back guy when it comes to his relationship with Cheryl. It will make you smile when you find out why. His obsession, passion and protectiveness he has for Cheryl will have you melting in your sit. Great fast story for when you need a quick break.

This book is about Cheryl and Landon. Cheryl is a college student who wakes one morning in a random strangers bed. She races out the door to class to find Landon, her professor is also her stranger from the night before. This book is a short quick read. It is hot and steamy and is an insta romance between an older man and younger woman. It was an enjoyable read.

It's official. I am 100 % hooked on Isla Chiu's books. And Professor was definitely no exception. Landon AKA Professor McCarthy and Cheryl had chemistry that was off the charts hot and forbidden. Cheryl meets her sexy professor after a night out drinking after a nasty breakup with her ex boyfriend. Landon falls hard and fast and he refuses to let her go. If you enjoy insta love and an OTT possessive alpha you will love this steamy, forbidden romance!

A wild night to get over an ex boyfriend, has Cheryl in an awkward situation waking up with a stranger. A fun storyline when that one drunken night turns out to be more than you ever bargained for. Enjoyed Landon’s character and all his possessive humor, a good balance between confidence and aggressive manner in protecting Cheryl.

While I'm not the biggest fan of chapters having titles, I absolutely loved the first person point of view. This is a deal breaker for me. This was a good story. What happens when you get dumped and you're pissed so you get drunk...well nothing good. 5 stars.

This was a cute and steamy novella. Cheryl wakes up next to her professor. As she is worried about a professor-student relationship,and tries to avoid being around Landon, he seems to purposely find her. This short story was sweet, fun and I thought was quite enjoyable to read.

An entertaining page-turner in the Alpha Male U series! It is engaging, relatable, funny, witty, and well written with steam, passion, romance, drama, really likeable characters, and off the charts chemistry between them. Definitely recommended!

I have read about six books from this author and I have not been disappointed yet. This was a short read but it was enjoyable to read. If you love a quick HEA that keeps you interested in reading this is for you.

June 25, 2021A forbidden romance at its best. I loved the storyline and the characters. The characters were great and even though they were basically student and teacher it still worked so well. It was written in a way that made them seem perfect for each other and the storyline was great and kept me hooked on each page. The tension build up was hot and really built up that forbidden element.
