Can David forgive Shyanne for her secrets or will the blows just keep coming? I certainly didn’t see that secret coming…

love the hard way
This is book 2 in the series if you haven’t read book 1 you really need to read that book first. This story starts off with Shyanne taking the fairy to Faire island to hid out in her grandmas old place. The problem is it’s not her grandma place anymore. David is the town sheriff living in his parents home. He goes to catches Shyanne trying to sneak back into the house and the fun begins.
Shyanne is a very fit beautiful women but she also looks like she went 10 rounds . She has a secret and David needs to find out he also feels attracted to her in way he never felt before. His need to protect her takes over as he tries to help. Shyanne wants to get away from past and start over make friends and sterile down. But her father wants her to keep doing her job. They attraction between David and Shyanne is sexy, sweet as they two talk get to know each other. David is very easy going yet alpha male. Shyanne is outspoken , powerful and sweet all at once. They complete each other as they try to fight the attraction until they give in. The there’s only a little drama when someone recognizes Shyanne for who she really is and she has to return to to the real world. Then David needs to make a choice does he fight for the person he loves or not. This is a fast read but worth it sexy and sweet and funny. Loved the return characters. I can not wait for more from this series.

If you haven't visited Faire Island, then I suggest you do and meet the wonderful characters of this small town. Love Over Easy is book two in a series that is becoming a favorite for me. Lizabeth Scott has created wonderful stories that will make you laugh, swoon, and cheer all while throwing in a bit of island mystery and a totally unexpected reveal.
We are introduced to another stellar story in the Faire Island Bride collection. David Caldwell is the sheriff of the town and takes his job to protect this little town seriously. Shyanne Lambert is the new face on the island and she is very mysterious. She keeps her cards close to her chest. She is obviously hiding from something or someone

A beaten and bruised Shyanne arrives on the Faire island, the only place she had ever felt wanted or loved in her life. Sneaking into her grandmothers old house, she is caught by David the islands only law enforcement officer, who sees her abused body and appointed himself her protector. Shyanne denies that neither a boyfriend nor husband are responsible for her injuries but won’t divulge her secret. He puts her up in his home where he could keep an eye on her recovery and try to earn her trust. Hopefully in time she would tell him who hurt her and who she’s running from. As with time and close proximity their undeniable feelings come to a head and all the secrets unravel. Liz keeps you guessing till the end when a young child has the answer. Loved this story which was a little step away from the usual romance story.

This series is quickly becoming a one-click buy for me. Only recently finding the author’s books, Lizabeth writes her stories that are fun to read, they are also intriguing with some suspense added. This book centers on Shyanne and the sheriff David Caldwell. Running away from something Shyanne has to keep her secret to herself. David is worried that her secret is dangerous and finds himself wanting to protect her and not leave. While I did not guess her secret, I was completely thrown when it was revealed.
I wonder what will happen in the next book of the Faire Island Bride series, personally I can’t wait.

Have you ever ran from your past or present? I haven't, but still I felt for Shy in this book.
This is a second book in the series (thank God, it's not the last) and I liked it a lot.
Suspense goes through the book almost till the end. For me, despite She's words that she's not into Smith illegal, I still thought that there is something mafia or out-law business related. I'm glad I was proved wrong.
The scenery of the book is still wonderful and I wish I could go to an island like this one some time.

Omg! I love this story! David and Shyanne story was amazing!
It kept me on my toes wondering what was next! I couldn't put it down because I needed to know what happens.
I had tears in my eyes every once in awhile so be prepared.

Lizabeth Scott did it again!!! I started to read Love Over Easy, glanced at the clock and it was 2am!! Shyanne is an amazing woman and her transformation as the story progresses is a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis. If you only read one new book , THIS is that book!!

Just read Love Over Easy by Lizabeth Scott, 2nd of the series. Love it, feels like your on Fairie Island with the books characters. David is the islands law enforcement, Shyanne is careful around new people. The chemistry between them is hot and David wants to keep her safe. Can’t wait for the next in the series!

I read this book in one sitting as Ms Scott has again written a brilliant mix of funny and heartbreaking.
The relatable characters are living a life they wouldn’t have chosen and finding each other helps them look to changing their futures.
It has the right mix of romantic, funny and steamy.
Standalone, if you haven’t read the first book it won’t matter, but you should treat yourself anyway.

A beautiful story of two people caught living the life they never truly wanted to live. One just fell into it out of a need to fill a void and the other was thrust into it by a need to be loved. Ms. Scott once again surprises her readers with a story that will make you laugh and at the same time melt your heart. Her character aren't perfect, their flaws are realistic and relatable and you will root for them to find the path to their happiness.

Love over easy was a great addition to the Faire Island Brides series. Lizabeth Scott has captured well liked characters in a small town. Shyanne is a lost soul in search of healing and happy memories. David doesn’t know how much that she is going to change his life when he arrests her. Explosive chemistry ties them together as they build a very steamy friendship. Trouble hunts Shyanne down and threatens the happiness that she has made for herself. Can David accept everything about her so that their love can grow? You’ll be quickly turning pages to find out.
