This review is going to be a bit long but oh well so first I read radio silence I didn’t enjoy it at first it felt a bit slow but I fell in love with it later on it made me realise thing about me I didn’t know yet I connected with all the characters in some way and I really enjoyed it so mutch it’s definitely my favourite out of all of Alice’s books!!! Solitare was magnificent so good it felt very nice to read like radio silence I wasn’t attached at the start but it got better I literally had to compromise with myself and said that I do a piece of homework and then read a page because I was really into it this winter and Nick and Charlie both was really good it was nice to read more about their feeling and stuff like that really good not my favourite but still pretty good I haven’t read loveless yet I am reading but I’m not hooked because I live romance books a lot and this is the opposite but I am going to keep reading and I have I was born for this I just am waiting to read it.
Alice Oseman once again produces absolute queer magic. Every single books tells a story that every inch of the queer community will relate to. It is so refreshing and beautiful to finally see an author displaying both the beauty and struggles of the queer experience so authentically, accurately and beautifully. My only complaint is that there’s not more books to read! My absolute favourite queer author without a doubt. 10/10 recommend Alice will never leave you disappointed and will always have you wanting more!
Solitaire was definitely my favourite from the series. I like how Alice understands and explains the pressures on teens and young adults to fit in and feel they have to label themselves to be a certain way which should not be the case at all they should be free to live their life and be happy and not have to behave a certain way or conform and that the labels are irrelevant they can be who they want to be there’s so much time for them to explore and discover naturally.
Literally anything Alice writes is beyond amazing and I get so sad whenever I fish a Alice book. My favourite is solitaire and my second favourite is this winter. The way she writes is beautiful and makes my insides feel warm. I love her and her work so so much. Her books got me into reading so I will always love her for that. Please read them if you haven’t.
For ‘Nick and Charlie’ I had to give it 5 stars! The book is about a gay couple that broke up, sadly Charlie was drunk when he said it so he was just joking. It ruined their relationship and they didn’t talk to each other for 2 weeks, which is a really long time! I would recommend this book to people that love gay romance.
loveless • loved how in depth the sexualities are explained • reality of how it feels to be queer • realistic conflicts everyone had their own struggles and confusions they need to settle • love is SUBJECTIVE and DOESN'T HAVE RULES PERIOD (unless it's immoral like abusive and toxic etc)
9/10 so good I love it so much solitare was by far my favourite I found it so comforting and I relate to tori so much and loveless comes in at a close second radio silence was absolutely amazing but I was kind of confused by the plot and I was born for this was good but not great
Heartwarming story’s. I would probably say that solitaire was my favorite. It was well written (and maybe I saw myself in tori) The storyline was perfect and I never got to the point where I thought it was boring. Good books my guys !
