„Moonlight Mist“ is the fifth book in the Mist Riders Series by Stella Fitzsimons, an original urban fantasy series which follows Luna, aka/former Sophie for the basics, the ones who haven’t an inkling of the magic world around them. This is the fifth book in the series, and is best enjoyed after reading the previous four; of course it’s technically also possible to enter Luna’s world right here and go back to pick the rest of the series afterwards….. if you simply cannot wait…. 😉

Luna is now living in San Diego and must against her wishes betrothed to Cyrus, the Alpha, as the last resort to keep Winter alive, while he is still in the claws of the Persian King of Kings. It cannot get worse… wait…. it can… as a giant troll decides to re-enact his personal vision of King Kong & Lost World on the streets of San Diego, the first incident on a series of banished creatures coming back through the portals. Luna has her hands full… and the wedding is still happening… or it is?

True to the ‘Mist Riders’ series this is an action-packed, fast-paced story, with an original and rich world-building, a relatable, credible, strong and realistic heroine, that becomes even more resilient though adversity, and highly enjoyable secondary characters (not that I would ever dare to call Winter ‘secondary’ 😊)

This awesome book is full of action and suspense and kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed reading it and it’s a great addition to the series. I look forward to reading the next book and definitely recommend reading it.
