Compassionate approach to healing from a loved one’s alcoholism. Introductory readings and basic principles of the Al-Anon program founded by the spouses of AA’s founders. Appropriate if it’s your spouse, partner, parent, child, grandchild. Anyone whose drinking/ addiction bothers you. Written by people who have experienced the pain and have found found ways of living life with hope, happiness, and acceptance despite the behaviors of others.

A must read for those dealing with alcoholism

I liked that it was the very basics for getting started in a world filled with questions. As side participants in a world we really didn’t wish to be a part of, this book gives us a reassurance that we are not alone. It guides us into a place of hope.

Good information

Very good, very quick read for the newcomers. It is a combination of information from several parts of different pamphlets.

A good primer for beginners

Brief and to the point, this information is a good start on both sides of the picture, the alcoholic and the people trying to cope.

Recomendado

Recomiendo Al-Anon. Es una propuesta sencilla pero muy potente. Es un compromiso qué, con constancia y dedicación, significa una vida nueva.
