His plan is to put the humble cane-panipuri vendor, found in every other street in a metropolitan city, on a digital platform. Can Sagar and his team overcome the odds? Why are the ordinary vendors dying one after another like a pack of cards? The Panipuri Crimes is a thrilling story weaving together the world of entrepreneurship and struggle, love and other demons, and the murky world of crime.
Young entrepreneur Sagar Bansal leads a team of six members to try something new in business. His plan is to gear up and launch an app selling Panipuris online in a metropolitan city. But in the excitement they overlooked the fact that whoever earlier ventured into this business had died in road accidents. Can Sagar and his team overcome the odds and put the Panipuri vendors in a digital adventure?
The Panipuri Crimes is a thriller with not so thrilling storyline. But I like the idea behind this book with a very unique concept. The starting was very wobbly, it took me some time to grasp what was actually happening. For couple of chapters it took me some time to get into the book then gradually I became accustomed to the writing.
Coming to the characters, there are way too many characters but I found some very interesting ones. Sagar and his friends are in main roles but characters who attracted me the most are Barfi, a mobile panipuri vendor; Veena Rao, a software engineer and Viraj Jain, an engineer. I found these characters very interesting and dynamic as if they have another face which is hidden from the outside world.
Writing style is good but there are unnecessary use of complex sentences. The plots changed in rapid succession for which I was zoned out for a bit while reading. Plots and characters are scattered all over the place but kudos to the author for being creative and writing something which is not a cliche.
When you hear panipuri, your head fills with images of dry and wet panipuris, ready to be gobbled, isn't it?
When I saw the cover, it was a similar reaction in my mind. I was sure of a thrilling, masala ride, extra teekha!
At 180 odd pages, the book is an easy read, you can finish it on a flight or a ride. It is a light read. I have mixed feelings about the book. I picked it up imagining it to be a murder mystery or a thriller, going by the blurb. The book is built around a very unique concept: 6 entrepreneurs who want to sell panipuri online and the ups and downs they face.
What worked for me: 1)Cover: A very intriguing and well-balanced cover. The colors are nice, interest you enough to read the blurb.
2)Blurb: A smartly written blurb, entices, teases you...
3)Concept: A very unique, clever concept. I was instantly intrigued and wanted to read the book.
4)Plot: A lot of thought has gone into it. The author has certainly done a lot of research on the subject. Am guessing he is a great lover of panipuris.
5)Writing: The author has a grip over his writing. His narrative is smooth and takes you in without jerks or leaving you hanging. The sentences are a bit long in 2 or 3 places but these are not eye sores. The language is neat and for a debut author, the book provides ample reading pleasure.
A few points he could have strengthened:
1)Number of characters. There are just too many characters in the book. I lost count after the first chapter and let it go. The character arcs of all these people wasn't thought out so well as desired. Atleast the main characters could have been fleshed out well is what I felt. Also, the females didn't have much to do is what I felt. The motive was also not clear...
2)Character back stories. Adding back stories for all characters seemed a bit wasteful to my mind. It took away from the protagonists' storyline. At any given point I just could not remember why a certain character behaved and I had to go back and forth to recollect.
3)Love lives and lovemaking scenes. I felt this was overdone. Maybe it was added for titillating some readers. I surely had to skip these pages, which took away from the reading experience. Also, what I found totally unnecessary were the interwined love lives. After a point I stopped trying to remember who was sleeping with who. And, the piece that tested my patience was the lesbian bit, which was totally unnecessary and very awkwardly placed, almost seemd force-fit. None of the love making scenes seemed natural to the main narrative. I lost track of the main plot many times due to these smaller romance lines. Here, I just skipped ahead because it was very boring to read about the love lives.
This debut book has all the masala you might be craving for at this time! Recommend as a weekend read. 👍
‘Panipuri’, is one of the most popular, famous and common street food. Its name may vary as per the different places, but its available almost everywhere and people are just obsessed with it.
Likewise, in ‘‘The Panipuri Crimes’’ by SB Akshobya, we have our Protagonist, Sagar, who is fixated with Panipuri and has gone as far as writing poems about his love affair with the dish, resulting in him winning many competitions as well as successfully publishing a book about the compilation of his poems.
Considering the recent surge that we have seen regarding everything going online and all the items being available and delivered to you at your doorsteps, even the Panipuri Vendors tried to take their business digital. However, it is not as simple as it seems since the things didn't end well for the five entrepreneurs who tried doing so.
Sagar is interested in venturing this as well, but is skeptical about doing so, considering the state of the predecessors who did the same and thus starts investigating about it a little on his own. He feels that there is a foul play and the Panipuri Mafia may be involved, but he has yet to get proof before he can come to conclusions.
Will Sagar be successful in getting his dream project to fruition or will he succumb to the same fate as the others? Is the tragedy that's happening just a mere coincidence? Or has someone been deliberately doing it? Well, that's the entire basis of the book’s plot.
The writing style of the author was flawless and the words flowed freely. The aura of mystery was very nicely done and it definitely kept the readers guessing on what was going to happen next. The element of surprise was definitely there and the twist was quite unexpected. I will definitely be reading the upcoming books in the same series. Will recommend this book to everyone who loves a good Mystery. I am going to give this book FIVE PANIPURI STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Many times it happens to me that the book delivers completely different content than what you expected when selecting it. The same thing happened to me when I selected "The Panipuri Crimes", I was expecting short crime stories but what I found was completely surprising.
The protagonist of our story is Sagar. He had the idea of starting an online panipuri business. And so did few guys before him. But there was a danger lurking in dark, targeting people who wanted to digitize panipuri business. Read the book to know more.
The story was smooth and fast-paced. The presentation was new, and the idea was also different. The language usage was also easy. I finished the book in two sittings. The excitement that the author generated in the first half (my first sitting through the book) was not matched at the same level in the second half. Still an enjoyable read. It gave me company on a short trip.

📚BOOK REVIEW📚
🔮This enthralling narrative has been put down by "S B Akshobhya".It will take you on a mysterious adventure right from the outset. So are you ready to take off for the journey?
🔮Getting back to the book, Sagar Bansal, a panipuri fanatic, is presumed to be the protagonist of the story. His love for pani-puri leads him along with 5 others towards the start-up idea of a digital expedition. So his basic agenda is to centralize all the regional panipuri sellers through an online portal to sell their pani-puris at the doorstep of the customers. He along with his team created an app for their business and named it PaPi.
🔮Before starting with this business, Sagar came to acknowledge about few other people who started with a similar expedition. On an individual basis, they all were found dead in a certain spot where surveillance camera was inaccessible, which was quite thought-provoking. It furthermore astounded Sagar and his team. Who killed them? What was the reason behind it?
🔮On the other hand, Sagar and his team put all their efforts into achieving their prime objective. Unluckily, they find themselves trapped in the Mafia community which leads them to the demise of their co-workers. Now, who is behind these murders? Is this in any way related to the previous expedition?
(To know more, grab a copy of this sweet & sour thriller novel and be assured of the fact that it'll be unduly impossible for you to put down the book without completing it entirely)
🔮I believe that both the cover and the title fits the book equivalently. The plot will keep you engrossed till the end. Now coming back to the writing style, it is merely incredible. The narration part was performed adequately. And overall the author had done an outstanding performance in inscribing this book for which I'd like to congratulate him. Being a pani-puri lover this book had captivated all my attention. The climax was my favourite, as the author had described it elaborately and also because that wasn't anticipated.
Well, when I read “The Panipuri Crimes”, I couldn’t think of the mafia or the crimes it could have depicted in the story. After all, all I have faced with my panipuri trips gone wrong is a missing sukhi puri or one less puri than promised in the name of crime.
This book is a fast-paced crime mystery that interweaves with the crimes of the mafia that runs and controls panipuri business and crimes of a common naïve person. Sagar and Rathishree are the central characters. Sagar dreams of venturing into an app that sells panipuri at your doorstep. And that should be one of the best services during the times like this, I bet. Along with him is his hard-working girlfriend, Rathi who doesn’t see eye to eye with Yashaswini. Other characters like Rudra and Koel support the venture.
What I liked:
Smooth writing that is easy to read without much fluff. The twists, in the end, are great and leave you to hanker for more. The plot is well-developed, and nothing seems to be missing by the end when all the truths come out. The author’s love for bikes is clearly apparent in the book, and that’s a nice touch to the story.
The wild-card entry of Veena Rao in the middle came out as a great surprise and a well-rounded character and kept me glued. Of course, she is the author’s heroine in the next book in this series. So, watch out for her. You would definitely love her.
A few things that could have been gone well are: • Character development – I don’t see much of a character's arc for the main characters except for Veena. I expected a lot more for Rathi and Sagar. • Intimate scenes – Some of them were not necessary and appeared for the sake of it.
I would say, this was a good read with the fast story and interesting plot points. A perfect weekend read for me.
Since the author has more books coming out this same year with plots that promise to hook, I would be waiting eagerly to read them.
Even in the wildest of my dreams I never imagined that a thriller can be weaved around one of the most popular delicacies in India. Never expected that simple panipuri can lead to so many deaths which can eventually cause such an unanticipated turn of events.
The story starts with Sagar , a hardcore panipuri lover who one fine day is hit with the thought of starting an online business where he can sell them and have a digital presence. But when everything is going well and the team is gradually widened the initial set of entrepreneurs suddenly die in a fatal accident and the decent paced story becomes a roller coaster ride. Is the death a mere coincidence? Can Sagar and his team come out victorious despite all odds ? Grab the book to find out .
The book has all the elements ranging from suspense ,thrill ,love and most importantly realism. Author has smartly related some incidents with the recent happenings like the migrants situation in covid. Also the way so many different angles are given to the tale speaks volume about the talent of the writer. This book is the first part of the series 'The Vibes World' and after skimming through it , just can't wait to lay my hands on the remaining parts.
A must read book which is quite different from the usual thrillers...
I picked up this book due to interesting title and cover. And I didn’t expect it to turn a five star read. Firstly I want to give a warning that reading the book makes you hungry and makes you want to eat Panipuri so badly. The story starts with Sagar Bansal, he had an amazing idea of entrepreneurship. The story started with the description of Panipuri that instantly made me hungry and my mouth watering. I liked the book starting with impactful dialogues such as “Isn’t it better to have Panipuri than a Cigarette?” Sagar had this idea regarding selling Panipuris online. But to his shock, five aspirants who implemented that idea had died in accidents that too in area without surveillance. Sagar gathered the details and a wild Panipuri mafia theory floated. It seemed 2-3 mafi control all small vendors in the city. But are they behind these accidents and money behind profits. Read the book to unfold further plot. I liked the plot as it’s unique and interesting. I liked that author has portrayed numerous characters. I liked few as Rathishree and Rudra. I liked character development of Rudra. I liked the chapter names given by the author. They are unique and interesting such as “Imli pani turns sour”. I liked the narration style of the author. It’s captivating. The suspense is created and maintained it till the end. Overall good and interesting read.
The Panipuri Crimes is the ultimate page turner and thriller written. SB Akshobhya is a learned man, has previously make his mark in the field of statistics, machine learning etc. He is working on two more sequels to this book, which shows his dedication and zeal to narrate thrillers. A) THE PANIPURI CRIMES B) THE ELEPHANT LAKE C) THE DARK NIGHT VIBES
=> About the book This book begins with a humorous joke, and ends on sarcastic node. I feel the story is exeplery and thoghtful if you are into thrillers, murders and mystery. This book´s title is impressive enough to guide you through the plot. Plot, coming back to where it all started, is clean and builds up with the time. I loved how wonderfully intimate scenes including passion and love and hate is written about. Unfortunately, I could not annotate much, because the whole book is speedy, I could not keep a check on the best parts of it. I saw more of like suspense in the plot too, that made it more impressive. Humor and grief is kept minimal yet has a prominent impact, even without talking about it, criminal world and undergroud mafias are also involved in the plot, contrasting with IIT graduates and software developers is like researching deeply and then penning it down. Apart from loving the plot setting, the story was gripping enough to read.
=> Suitability Check a) THEME - Is it the right word to put it? THEMES would be apt, from competition, comparison, profits, losses, murders, to e-business and what not. b) PAGES - 196 Pages are enough but not enough, you will want to read more about it all. c) AGE CRITERIA - Adulthood is the right age to go for such work and theme. d) READ TYPE - Speedy read, with all ups and downs in the story.
I loved this read. I thought about why Veena and Josh were introduced and got the point. The panipuri vendors controlled by the mafia and the deaths of entrepreneurs who try to make the panipuri business online. Finally found who was the admin of the www.pp.com blog. After death so many entrepreneurs still Sagar tried to move with his idea of selling Panipuris through Papi.
There are a lot of twists, turns, betrayals, and thrilling events in the story. I really felt sad for the untimely demise of PaPi's CEO. I loved the attitude of all the members of PaPi who want to make the dreams of Sagar come true and got a good investment. I loved Veena as a Tech Geek. I really don6 know what to say about Yashu and Rudra as they were so different characters in the story. Rathi, Koyal, and Jim were the innocent people from the team PaPi.
I have happy for Barfi and Viraj as they escaped from the Jaani, Tiku, and Baja.
Overall the story is interesting and I love the way it is narrated.
The Panipuri Crimes by SB Akshobhya Book Review: The Metropolitan crimes are nothing new, they have been committed for decades and with such a stealth that sometimes our protectors that is the Police Department as well are left at a mess of untied and unconnected clues with certain bizarre trails behind them. Also, murder committed to people of the hard earned labour classes is also not unheard of, they are still being made to take place for various reasons of the people who kill these innocents. Not too long ago, our country and also the state of Kolkata was ravaged by the news of the Stoneman Murders where innocents were killed in raging numbers by a psychopathic maniac probably, the only mistake on their part being their sleeping on the footpaths with having a shade to protect themselves from outside massacres and threats, and there too the police was left in a state of enmeshed daze and clues littered all about, and a whole nation of people under tremendous shock waves. But, like many other unsolved mysteries it remained abandoned and like those happenings, this book also explains and talks about a crime that leaves several of the innocent men dead by the road who are simple pedlars and sellers of Panipuri!, the sweet and sour crispy water bombs. The author was clearly inspired from the occurences mentioned above to produce such an unique, bold, brilliant, charming, thrilling, dangerous and mysterious work of fiction. The plot revolves around the idea of a fellow named Sagar whose magnetic passion towards Panipuri leads him to build an online startup to promote his love and spread a well earning online platforms to the mostly hapless sellers of Panipuri, so that they might earn a considerable amount of profit. The work has certain brilliant plot twists but sometimes gets dragged in certain aspects. But, what has made this book standout and confirms it to be a masterpiece is it's naked spreading apart, openly certain most bizarre and untoward incidents, torchurs, crimes and trafficking in the various sectors of the human existence, broadly and famously known as the underworld which not only physically assaults and supreses an human being but also mentally makes a man unhealthy, leading them towards being overbearing exercising megalomaniac power and control towards the so called men and women, stylistically termed as "innocents" according to them. This novel also lays bear the quiet pressing fact that whether it be a Panipuri seller getting killed or the helpless cry of a broken man not able to save his family, all the people should be given an equal right to live and let live the way they, want and according to their own recognitions and inhibitions so that they don't turn out to be harmful rogues, as happened with Veena. I urge you all to pick this book up because it is the best book in the work of pulp fiction which is slowly being fading out of the market and a novel that will ask you to be careful and morally valuable. The creator of this work has also done the translation in an appropriate manner which most books often fail to do these days and has also kept the Indianness to the book intact, with no inpromtu hurry to translate them from Hindi to English. I give my best regards to the author for his future endeavors.
To begin with, the name of the book is actually catchy and offers a touch that it has touched upon a completely unique subject. True to its name the book has a tale that no one has written about. At least I have not read. I suggest who might have idea a humble panipuri could grow to be cause for a homicide mystery. The book begins offevolved with couples Sagar and Ratheeshri, Rudra and Yashshwini, and Jim and Koyal. All of them have joined fingers to make their dream of promoting panipuris via an app. But what they do not know is there are fingers that may not permit them to discover fulfillment of their endeavor. How their lives extrade and the way they discover themselves withinside the center of crime lords who do not even hesitate to kill them to prevent from what they achieve.
The tale movements at a brisk pace. It additionally has sufficient twists at the manner to maintain you glued to the book. And the maximum unique a part of the book is the climax wherein each scattered guidelines and twits be a part of to offer a becoming conclusion.
The best glitch I confronted turned into there have been too many technical phrases and technical communicate that someday placed me off. But because the book is made of characters who live in technical field, that feeling turned into natural. I bet individuals who are into begin up and all might revel in this ee-e book immensely.
The writer has executed all of the history paintings earlier than writing the book and it indicates in his writing. The language is likewise relatable and in case you are a kannadiga you will doubly experience the writing.
The first one is carried out. Looking ahead to analyzing subsequent books withinside the series.
The title of the book is very unique and impressive. The cover page even thrills an intricate one. Just I opened the book and starts to read it at first it makes me mouthwatering, following that it thrills me eventually awestruck me.
Panipuri! Just panipuri is the reason for crime! I have exclaimed. But in the middle of the read how the panipuri becomes the reason for the crime? How are the agents working with the panipuri? How is the mafia interlink with a crime? has starts to reveal gradually.
The protagonist Sagar's insatiable love of eating panipuri kindles him to create an app for panipuri sale. He has gathered his 5 friends to coordinate with him. He has gained all the knowledge about the panipuri process and progress as much as possible. How the vendors are working under the agents as a slave for a less penny?. How are the agents treating the vendors and his family? How much profit they turnover? All the nook of the information Sagar gathered about panipuri. There he came to know about the 5 murder. The victim of All 5 murders is the panipuri vendors. How the 5 vendors have developed in the sale? How tactically they performed to reach high profit? How they murdered one by one? Like this information has gathered by Sagar. Who are the criminals? Why did they murder the vendors? The main storyline puzzle has solved by the protagonist. To know the suspense and thrilling adventure give it a read.
Language style shapes the narration. The clear storyline with suspense and thrilling. The characters sketch is nice. But need some improvement. The plot structure is striking.
The author tries to disclose the life and struggle of the Panipuri vendor has perfectly executed by him.
Book review 💯📖 ⭐ My Rating - 4.8/5⭐ The book " Panipuri Crimes " by SB Akshobhya" is a thriller book.
🌸 This book is a kinda modern thriller rather than calling it a crime story. I chose this book at first glance itself since Im a 'Panipuri lover'. I've never come across any book that is based on Panipuri except for the food recipe books. This book is not definitely related to anything of that sought.
🎗️The summary of the book is about the protagonist Mr. Sagar, who is also obsessed with panipuri just like us. He desires to start up an online app which is some what similar to swiggy or zomato that delivers panipuri from different shops that sell them. He joins hands with few people inorder to become an entrepreneur. His idea of making panipuris delivered at doorstep in a digitalised way takes him to a completely unimaginable situation wherein crimes are involved.
🌸This story is definitely a modern crime story which attracts the readers with the way it moves along with the flavors touch. The funny part of it is that it makes you crave so hard for panipuri. And the way author describes about it is really unavoidable that it makes you hungry all the time.
👉 Wonderful narration with a great place storyline. There were some more characters involved in this story. Characterization of this book is bang on. It adds more essence into the storyline to make it more grippy. Overall it was a very good read! I would recommend this book to all Panipuri crime - thriller lovers.
To start with, the title of the book is really catchy and gives a hint that it has touched upon a unique subject. True to its title the book has a story that nobody has written about. At least I haven't read. I mean who would have thought a humble panipuri would become reason for a murder mystery. The book starts with couples Sagar and Ratheeshri, Rudra and Yashshwini, and Jim and Koyal. All of them have joined hands to make their dream of selling panipuris through an app. But what they don't know is there are hands that won't allow them to find success in their endeavor. How their lives change and how they find themselves in the middle of crime lords who don't even hesitate to kill them to stop from what they achieve.
The story moves at a brisk pace. It also has enough twists on the way to keep you glued to the book. And the most special part of the book is the climax where every scattered hints and twits join to give a fitting conclusion.
The only glitch I faced was there were too many technical terms and technical talk that sometime put me off. But as the book is made up of characters who dwell in technical field, that feeling was natural. I guess people who are into start up and all would enjoy this book immensely.
The author has done all the background work before writing the book and it shows in his writing. The language is also relatable and if you are a kannadiga you would doubly enjoy the writing.
The first one is done. Looking forward to reading next books in the series.
The Panipuri Crimes as the title indicates is all about the crimes behind the ever tasty golgappa business and the dangers that might erupt when the underworld rises to grab the competition from corporate leaders.
Panipuri business is donned by the underworld dons of the country and its shocking to learn about how far these people are willing to go to control their profits and the young men who are their forever subs, threatening to kill their poor families. Almost every chapter is about this issue and we get a glimpse of the untimely demise and torture that happens to anyone who tries to make a business out of the snack.
In comes the IIT mind Sagar and his housemates/teammates of the startup he's willing to risk even after leaning about all the dangers that might engulf him if he goes anywhere near the Panipuri sellers. There might be any number of spies lurking around in plain clothes for all we know!
This is a different concept for a suspense thriller. But the narrative was too lengthy, too descriptive for my liking. Also, I had zero interest in the Sleeping arrangements of Sagar and his so called housemates. They came out as a rude and self centered bunch and none of them were really likeable. I had to skim through those chapters to race through the actual premise to know what happens next. One would require lots of time and patience to get through the book.
FAB - BOOK REVIEW OF "The Panipuri Crimes" by SB Akshobhya
Genre: Fiction (Thriller)
Rating - 4/5
QOTD: Are you missing Golgappas in this pandemic?
AOTD: Nope, not that much *now don't kill me, people* "The Panipuri Crimes" by SB Akshobhya. This book is entirely different from what you might have read before. Even if you are a thriller lover and have read many books, then too do pick this book up and don't think you are going to predict the ending. Books like these with a different plot are rare. So it's high time to give our support to them. As the title says, this book is about panipuri business and what setting up a panipuri has lead to. Sagar Bansal, a die-hard fan of panipuris, started to do something with the same thing. Then he thought to start a business where he sells panipuri through an online platform. So he gets in contact with 5 more other vendors to create an online forum to set up that business. But then suddenly, one by one, of the vendors died. Is that all some coincidence, or is it planned? . This book's plot is unique, and the way it has been developed over the book is excellent. So many characters are in this book, and they might confuse you initially, but you can get through them while you get into the story. I liked the way the author has maintained the mystery element so well. The language is lucid. But I wish the author has mentioned the minute details about the characters, and the characters can also be developed better.
The Panipuri Crimes is filled with as much thrill and suspense as a good panipuri is filled with all the spices in just the right amount.
Sagar loves panipuri, his love for panipuri knows no bounds but he wants to do something more than just remaining a mere consumer of it. He decides to sell it online through a mobile app. But there are risks involved and these are not only risks related to the success or failure of Sagar's ambitions business idea but rather it's his life that is at risk. All the entrepreneurs who earlier ventured into the business had died in road accidents. Who is behind these deaths?? Are the rumours about the panipuri mafia true??
After reading the initial chapters, I thought all the suspense and crimes in this book are related to the panipuri mafia but I am so glad that the author proved me wrong with an unpredictable plot filled with suspense and thrill. New characters kept getting introduced at the right time, making the book more and more interesting to read. Just as a panipuri's filling is made up of different elements, the characters in this book are different from each other. Some are sweet and hard-working, others materialistic and crooked.
The Panipuri Crimes kept me hooked and fulfilled my desire of reading a well written crime thriller.
Any guess what made me want to read this book? If your answer is the "title" of the story then YES, you got it right. Being a panipuri lover by heart and having the thirst for thrillers for as long as I could remember, I knew I had to pick this one when I saw the title and the blurb piqued my interest.
Sagar, who too has this unconditional love for panipuri decides to make an online platform to sell them directly to the doorstep of the panipuri lovers. He, along with his friends start their mission, but the journey is not as simple as they thought it to be as there has been previous death records of entrepreneurs who started the same business of selling panipuri through online platform. But Sagar is determined, will he stop or will he continue chasing his dream even if that means fighting against the underworld criminals? Will he succeed or become a victim just like others?
I loved how this book has woven love, friendship, betrayal and thrill all in one. Twists makes a thriller much more engaging and unputdownable and here, this book has a lot of it in store for you and I must say that I was genuinely taken aback by the twist at the end. A must read for all the thriller lovers out there and, if you love panipuris then what are you waiting for? It's all yours to grab !!!
Title - The Panipuri Crimes Author - SB Akshobhya Publisher - Srishti Genre - mystery/thriller Pages - 208 Format - paperback
The title of the book is so eye catchy which made me to pick it up. The story revolves around the protagonist Sagar and his team. All of them are young, vibrant and have superb business plan. Sagar has online business idea for selling panipuris. When their plan comes into action other five members had died mysteriously.
Who is behind these murders? Or is it just coincidence? Read the book to know the answers.
The cover of the book is aptly designed. The plot of the story is interesting, engaging and unique. It is a perfect blend of crime, thrill, mystery and entertainment. The author has very well described the panipuri and chaat recipe that one can easily gets water in his/her mouth. The title of every chapter is interesting like 'Imli Pani turns sour'.
The language used is simple and lucid. There are too many characters that are very confusing. It seems that author has done full research on online entrepreneurship.
Overall, an interesting modern crime story.

The wording of the book is very connective and easy. One can relate very easily to the story as it goes with the flow. The author uses all the ups, downs, and plains where it is needed.
let me know your thoughts on it in the comments.
I'm sure you will love this book as much as I did.♒
Thank you, 🍀SB Akshobhya for giving me this opportunity to reading such a wonderful book of yours.
It’s so well written you did everything perfectly.
“There are crimes of passion and crimes of logic. The boundary between them is not clearly defined”. Bearing sheer relevance with the context of the literary work at hand, the line stated here must be paid heed to. Delving further into the storyline and the plot of the book, it is mainly concerned with the character of Sagar Bansal who by using his business acumen decided to infuse technology and business idea and for the very purpose got accompanied by 6 more people who worked together as a team to bring the business of water balls on digital footing. However, as stated in the line in the beginning the reader is compelled to prepare an answer as to the reason behind the killing spree which is taking place against his team and also against the usual water ball vendors. Delving further, the presence of a systematic elimination scheme has the readers gripped till the very hand and when one adds into the equation the presence of various other angles such as world of crime, struggles etc. the book is a must read. It must be noted that the author has presented quite a case here in the storyline of the book and the presence of lucidity and simplicity along with the elements as mentioned makes it a must read book for everyone
The book revolves around the protagonist Sagar Bansal and his team of entrepreneurs with unexpected adventures of miseries and struggles by the comprehensive blend of the sentiments of respect and admiration to the pani puri makers.
The plot and narration are simply put for the quest of survival with the help of good characterisation and portrayal of incidences. The outcome of grief is sometimes undefined, but here in the story it could be anyway round especially when there is grief of the death of all the five people working with the initiative.
Living a life with a unknown burden is hard, but the destiny of protagonists is defined in a unique perspective by the author. The book has more to offer than just the mere story of imagination. It talks about the teachings of life in general on the pretext of how things take turn in an effort of the hour.
All in all, it a decent and lucid read. The things which could have been enhanced are the linguistic and editorial expressions with the sequence of orders, but, other than that, the book has everything relevant within the comprehensive fictitious events.
The plot is based one an young and energetic team of individuals who are from the current young generation and has a brilliant plan for a business. As they are from the new generation, their mode of operation is online only. Their plan is to bring a very popular street food delivery over digital platform i.e. Panipuri. The yummy and tangy street food is being consumed by each and every indian and the delivery services running all over the India are already providing the fast food quickly to their customers do why not the panipuri? This team of young and energetic minds is being lead by Sagar Bansal. But as they prepare for the launch of their verture mysteriously a series of events occurred, which were quite impactful on their business. Five of the entrepreneurs who were involved in this business along with Sagar, had met their unfortunate deaths in road accidents. Was it a mere coincidence or is there a mystery building up against them? The plot is layered amazingly with suspense and thriller. The plot has numerous characters in the plot. The author has given sufficient scope to each character to contribute and develop the plot. The narration is simple and easy. It was definitely an interesting read.
Before talking about the plot or anything I would love to draw your attention towards the title - I mean how creative! It's like clubbing your two favourites in one name. Clever, right?!
Now, coming to the plot - we have our protagonist, Sagar, who loves to devour panipuris. The book is all about his dream to bring all the pani puri vendors on a digital platform to sell their pani puris. But as we move ahead we come to know that all five entrepreneurs before Sagar, who ventured into the same business have died some mysterious deaths. Thus, the seeds of thrill are sowed and we, as readers, begin contemplating about those mysterious deaths as the plot moves forward. Further, the book also has some twirling love stories to give this thriller some kind of spice. The book builds good intimacy during romantic scenes and even better suspense during the other scenes.
So, all in all this book contains all the right ingredients which make up a perfect panipuri. The book is quite fast and the reader will not at all get bored except for a few scenes inbetween. It uses moderate English which makes it suitable for anyone and everyone.
SB Akshobhya weaves an interesting narrative in “The Panipuri Crimes,” where the plot takes a plunge into the digitizing world where people try to make use of the internet to give traditional things (like a panipuri here) a modern touch to adapt to the new normal. But in the midst of this, there is also a touch of human nature which is about hurting others to satisfy their needs. Akshobhya creates a thrilling world where crime and desire to grow hand in hand literally, and the characters are caught in the web created by these two. All those who like works of fiction with the flavor of reality coupled with the thrill of the street food like panipuri should lay their hands on “The Panipuri Crimes.” True to its title, the crimes centre around the world of panipuri and the people who are fans of it. The book would entertain and make the readers bite their nails at the same time.
The panipuri crimes is a thriller book, sagar is a panipuri lover and wanted to start this project in which all the panipuri vendors will be available on online platforms. So whenever one has craving for panipuri they can order online.
Before sagar 5 other people tried to bring this idea into action but they all died unexpectedly so is it a mere coincidence or someone is behind this .
My view - This book is not thrilling as much it sound, the narration is not upto the mark. And the characterization could be more better. Some people introduce unnecessarily and the book is boring from the 1st chapter , some difficult lines add idk why. In 180 pages the story can be much better. Some part is bit dragged.
As it's the debut novel , the suspense is very well maybe. The cover is so apt according to the story. The title is so unique which made me pick the book. The plot is very unique.
Author S B Akshobhya has tried to jot down an very out of the box plot with an very understandable narration.
Our protagonist Sagar is very fond of Paanipuri's. We can say he is more obsessed towards the dish.
He is shown a true lover of the dish.
He plans on to start up an online application which will promote the panipuri vendors. But then there is some mystry and as the title reads "The Panipuri Crimes" .. the title's descripton comes in play here.
Just like any other crime book this is also one very intriguing book.
What's the reason behind the deaths of his partner's ?
And how will the mystery be unfolded ?
Too many characters can sometimes make you lose track in between but overall it's an interesting plot which is definitely the bonus factor of this book.
I enjoyed reading it and I'm sure all the thrill readers will enjoy reading it.
The name was real fascinating and it made me pick the book in the first thought itself. So if it is about being in the story, this was hooking me throughout. I started with excitement and would say that the story was actually unfolding thrill with every new page. I truly loved the way the author has picturized the characters and evolved their dream in real life. I was hooked with Sagar, Ratheeshri, Rudra, Yashaswini, jim & Koyal.
The storyline flourishes gradually and in a beautiful way and has so much that I couldnt keep the book away for a while. The writer has done a fabulous job and has given another edge to the world of stories. Kuddos to him and looking forward for a lot many such tales from his desk.
It's a crime thriller with a mix of entrepreneurship , struggle and love. Story revolves around six protagonists and their struggles in marketing (to sell panipuri online). Though it's from thriller genre it didn't felt that thrilling while reading it. It's a debut novel and concept of this book is unique. Title and cover page is quite attractive and catchy. There are lots characters in this story so keeping a count of them all is pretty hard. Character development is good for main characters but for others it feels flat. Plot is good and easy to read. You can complete this book in one go. Writing and Narration is lucid. Overall it was an okay read!!
