This book started out pretty strong in the first book but it's kinda quickly turned. In the first book and second book our heroine was all badäss but now it's like she's soft and not nearly as demanding or assertive with the guys. You can still be a badäss and submissive just because she submits to her guys doesn't mean she needs to become soft. This isn't my only problem my other problem is clearly these 6 books could of easily just been a duet seeing as each book is less than 100 pgs. Those 2 things definitely bring the rating down on what could of been a 5 star down to a 3.5 star. Also I kinda don't feel like we've nearly gotten enough back story on the guys though I'm only at 46% in the 5th book so I have a book and a half left to the series maybe it'll turn around.
So I just finished book 5 and I still feel like we need more back story on the guys and there's not enough descriptions of the guys so I can't refresh my brain on how they look. Still I like the plot but I'm starting to dislike the fmc and one of the mmc. But I got one more book to go maybe it'll give me what I need 😒 .

This story just he’s getting more and more exciting
It’s up to Ryanne's mates now to reassure, support and keep her safe now that she feels betrayed by one of her own. She can’t believe who it is that’s betrayed her but why he wouldn't do this without good cause would he??
My heart goes out for them all but we know Ryanne is a strong feisty leading lady but the way that her remaining mates come around her it’s just extraordinary it’s like they won’t let anything get them down. They are there for her as she is there for them but what’s going to come of him especially with the ending there’s only one way out of this , she must face what is to come to say three of her mates. I know she is strong enough I know she’s feisty enough and she’s got enough sass but can she do this?? A brilliant read I cant wait for the next and final book bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!

Conquered, a very well-written book 5 in The Midnight Huntress Book Series is an interesting story with great characters. This series builds a great world with well-fleshed out characters and female lead who does not need to choose from her suiters. These characters have unique histories, depth, personality, and strength in this action-packed story. It has twists, turns, intrigue, chemistry, romance, and love. This must read story is a good continuation of this wonderful story. This is the fifth part in a romance story in the paranormal mates genre. This story include steamy scenes between sexy alpha males and their sassy, strong-willed mate.

There is so much going on in this part of the story. Tyler takes off with the bow and arrow, believing he is doing the right thing. The others feel the lost of Tyler. Brandis is looking for spell. Gage's mark does not hold. Gage, Brandis and Tyler are on the realm. Now they need to decide on how to to get them back.

I really enjoyed this. I love how real the world seems, how the characters are so well written that you half expect to meet them in the street (well at least I do) and the intrigue just gets better and more intense with each book.

Conquered (roughly 100 pages), the fifth novella of the Midnight Huntress series, as a novella I downloaded from Kindle Unlimited. The author managed to kick up the pace and continues with another wild ride. Twists in this storyline I didn't see coming.
