Anzar the Progenitor

Rate this book
Anzar is an ancient alien mystic whom I have known most of my life and have been in weekly direct contact with since 2018. Anzar the Progenitor documents my spirit communication with this ancient alien, including his prophecies, sage advice, and commentary on the world. The book has extensive endnotes and includes my research on the nature of this communication through mediumship and my theory of how the alien world, the spirit world, and the quantum world are the same—a quantum nexus. We can no longer wait for government disclosure about UFOs and aliens. The time has come for personal revelation through a leap of consciousness in a new Era of Reconversion. We are all related and we are the aliens.

‘Yep, I see him. He’s there, the big Native-looking bouncer dude. You’re not crazy’

California author Bruce Olav Solheim, after serving in the US Army as a jail guard and later as a helicopter pilot, earned his PhD in history from Bowling Green State University and is currently a distinguished professor of history at Citrus College in Glendora, California. He also served as a Fulbright professor in 2003 at the University of Tromsø in northern Norway. Bruce founded the Veterans Program at Citrus College and cofounded, with Manuel Martinez and Ginger De Villa-Rose, the Boots to Books transition course—the first college course in the United States designed specifically for recently returned veterans. His books to date include TIMELESS: A PARANORMAL PERSONAL HISTORY, TIMELESS DÉJÀ VU, TIMELESS TRINITY, ALI’S BEES, MAKING HISTORY, THE VIETNAM WAR ERA, WOMEN IN POWER, THE NORDIC NEXUS, ON TOP OF THE WORLD, and now ANZAR THE PROGENITOR.

In the Foreword a Shamanic Practitioner (Lucinda Morel) shares the meeting that opens our minds to the author’s ‘memoir’: ’On a sunny, lazy Sunday afternoon in 2019, a group of UFO experiencers gathered for their monthly support group meeting. We sat encircled in the private room of a well-known chain restaurant, surrounded by our usual cups of coffee and lunch platters. This group is our safe space where we can safely share our otherworldly experiences without judgment. We discuss ways to navigate a world that tells us our experiences aren’t real, despite physical validation, simply because society doesn’t know what to do with the information. As the meeting was closing, Yvonne Smith, our fearless leader and founder of CERO (Close Encounter Resource Organization) asked if there were any go-backs. Bruce raised his hand politely and asked the group if anyone was “with” him. In any other context I’d probably have to specify that he meant in a spirit kind of way, but this was a CERO meeting…Bruce was sitting with his back to the door. Over his left shoulder was a tall, formidable, human-ish being, arms folded, looking more “club bouncer’ and “alien”…’

With that confirmation of Bruce’s ‘encounter’ alien, the book opens with his Introduction stating ‘Anzar is an ancient mystic whom I have known most of m life and have been in weekly direct contact with since 2018…ANZAR documents my spirit communication with this ancient alien, including his sage prophecies, and commentary on the world. This is not a work of fiction. It would be easier if it were…Something terrifying and wonderful happened in the fall of 2016, a paranormal re-awakening of sorts. This is a book about my life since then and how I over came my fear of death and started to live fully in the light. We need to start by examining how the spirit, alien, and quantum worlds are entangled…’

What follows is an impressive history of UFOs etc and Bruce’s encounters, all delivered with exacting prose in a very credible manner. This is Bruce’s finest book to date, one that delivers involvement and appreciation for possibilities that for Bruce exist. Exceptional book and a very fine exploration of a more expansive ‘reality.’ It is bracing, challenging - and reassuring!

The Review

What an illuminating and thought-provoking read. This book is right up my alley, delving into the high strangeness and paranormal goodness that I have come to know and love in my life. The author does an excellent job of blending the history and culture surrounding ufology, cryptozoology, and paranormal research with his own personal experiences and research, finding a harmonious back and forth that makes the book feel both personal and professionally researched.

The author's ability to achieve such a rich and layered story that is both fantastic and out of this world and very much grounded in reality is amazing to see unfold. The way the author explores quantum physics and its impact on the paranormal, UFOs, and spiritualism is inspired and speaks to me on a personal level.

Many of you know from my review of the incredible Kristin Martin’s BEYOND THE STARS AND SHADOWS that I am a big believer in not only the paranormal, but high strangeness, metaphysics, and everything in-between. I’ve definitely talked about Hellier more times than I could count. The author’s work here is a great addition to this line of research and study, exploring the ever-changing nature of reality, and the conversations between him and this ancient alien visitor are incredible to read, expanding not only our own consciousness but our exploration of the universe overall.

The Verdict

A thoughtful, engaging, and brilliant book that explores the concept of reality and the paranormal, author Bruce Olav Solheim’s “Anzar the Progenitor” is a must-read story. After being introduced to the concept of synchronicities, I am a firm believer that books like this often come to us during times of high strangeness and when we don’t even realize we need it. The kind of book that readers will come back to and study time and time again, the author’s respectful approach to the topic, and the reader’s need to come into it with a skeptical yet open mind really speaks to the growing change in our world in regards to this topic. Disappointing.

Anzar does not really say anything. The book is largely a record of Bruce's journal and dream journal entries over several years. Lots of Bruce's personal musings about the world, with Anzar joining in the chorus of 'yes' from the menagerie of spirit contacts.
