Powered-up, Liquored Up, or Fired Up? Or All Of The Above? This Festival Means Trouble. The Ash Moon Festival brings an influx of magical tourists all seeking to power-up with the ley lines in Harrow Bay. Jody’s busy enough with that issue, but when Sally Gilling’s cousin comes to town, she’s spread even thinner. Ingrid is a powerful necromancer, and she’s determined to avenge Sally’s disgrace.Willa is learning more about herself and finds courage she didn’t expect. Unfortunately, her decision to act is a bad idea, and she’s in over her head.Isabel does Internet magic (again!) that practically explodes her knees, landing her in a wheelchair for a while. With a necromancer in town, determined to get vengeance, and with Isabel as her #1 priority target, it’s a bad time to be incapacitated, even if Isabel is Hell on wheels. When Ingrid proves to be more than Jody can handle, she makes a desperate choice. With the fate of everyone in Harrow Bay hanging in the balance, can she find a way to defeat a necromancer, save the people she loves, and still find time for a romantic Valentine’s Day date with Drake?
Aurelia Skye is the pen name Kit Tunstall uses when writing science fiction romance. It’s simply a way to separate the myriad types of stories she writes so readers know what to expect with each “author.”
Isabella doesn't does a wrong spell that lands her in a wheel chair. Jodi and Willa try to keep an eye on her. Jodi is enjoying her relationship with Drake as it grows serious. Person from the past is coming back into their lives, they know it won't end well. There is serious danger all around, someone might not make it out it.
There are spoilers through book, I would not ruin for anyone. The growth of Jodi and Drake is wonderful, love the banter the characters have. They accepted each other for who they are. Willa is growing past the person she was with her husband and even Patty, she is learning to depend on herself. Isabella really never changes much, she just finds trouble, but you can't help but laugh and enjoy this character. There are even the side characters that blend so well into the story, that you remember them well. This is well written story that will capture your attention for everything that happens it it. You will be blown away by what transpires and you will want the next book really quickly.
I was, of course, upset with the Drake situation. I know he will be back. This plot twist was not entertaining or enjoyable. I have really enjoyed this series so far, but this book brought all the bits together that I don't enjoy. The grandmother is an annoying pain. Not in a fun to read, curmudgeonly way. I want her to be gone. I wanted her to die in this book. The mother's weaknesses and indecisiveness are beyond old at this point in a series. They brought an edge to the stories in the beginning. All they do at this point is make me want to send the book back before I finish it.
I will give the next book a try. I hope these two characters start evolving like all the others in the series.

The Ash Moon Festival is drawing in lots of magical tourists, including some troubling ones. Ingrid is a powerful necromancer who is looking for revenge for her cousin Sally’s disgrace. Isabel’s timing is bad when she experiments with magic that almost explodes her knees. So temporarily, she is in a wheelchair until she heals. But as the target of a necromancer, is she able to defend herself? Jody is trying to protect her, but Ingrid may be stronger. Is there any way she can defeat the necromancer to save her friends?
We are back with book nine of the Harrow Bay series and wow this one took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride. But even though that crazy ride I am loving this series and loving every page turning twist along the way. From the powerful necromancer Ingrid looking to avenge her cousin Sally's disgrace to Isabel's crazy spell that goes wrong this series just gets better and after that ending I can't wait to read the next book to find out what happens next. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
A powerful necromancer has come to Harrow Bay for the Ash Moon festival, and she wants revenge. Jody reaches the conclusion that the only way to protect the town is to have the help of a dangerous killer, but it's no surprise when the witch turns against the town, too. Wow, this is an exciting book with lots of magical mayhem, action, and the devastating loss of one of my favorite characters. All of these characters are well written, and unique. It has been wonderful to watch them develop. I can't wait to read the next book.
This is the ninth book in the Harrow Bay series and boy oh boy does Jody have a whopper of a issue to deal with. This book actually made me tear up with what happened and I really hope that things for Jody can become happier in time.
How could you do such a thing to a main character????? I cannot believe what has happened and how things are manifesting in Narrow Bay! Its Like it is a totally different story, a different book!! I'm totally in shock of it all!!!!l!!😮😮😮
So many twists and turns it had me on edge the whole time. If this was not on Kindle, I would have thrown the book at the wall. Something magical better happen in the next books to rectify this injustice!
