Welcome to Club Nocturne. Greenford’s favorite strip club. Where the poles on stage aren’t the only things vibrating to the loud music and shining under the neon lights…so are the dancers. Newcomers receive a complimentary cocktail, The Virgin Special, which has brought more than a few men to their knees…and only the bartender knows what’s in it! Join the staff and revelers and feast your eyes on the hot entertainment as they give it their all and shake what they’ve got nightly. If you can get past Glam on the door, that is!
Dan: I like my life. Honestly, I love it. I’m an exotic dancer…okay, I’m a stripper, and sometimes I have to take over the club for the boss to make sure things run smoothly. It’s fun, it’s fulfilling, but It can’t last forever. I know I’ll have to stop at some point. I’m lost on what that means for my future, but I’m even more lost when Lucas comes into the picture. The terminally straight brother of my best friend, who shows up to help me. I was warned not to hit on him, and I wasn’t going to…honestly!
Lucas: My life’s been on track for a while now. I’m a lawyer. I know what I want and the best way to get it. Maybe the loneliness gets to me sometimes, but that’s life. I’d never been to a strip club, and when I agreed to do a favor for my brother, I certainly wasn’t ready for Dan…or his flirting. He threw my life off track and made me question everything I thought I knew about myself. Well, except that I’m definitely an ass man…what the hell did they put in that free cocktail? But he’s here, and now I have to figure out what to do about it...
Opposites attract in this first-time gay tale of a stripper and a lawyer. As Dan says, “This is me putting my foot on the gas but giving you control of the brakes.” Will straight lawyer Lucas put the brakes on or will he succumb to the flirtatious and sexy stripper, Dan?

Take two people Who don’t seem to fit, but really do, and put them in a situation at just the right time for both of them, and things will begin to happen. Our Lucas is an attorney who works way too much and hasn't had a relationship in... well, years. His brother, Mateo, who is a character that we met in another book in the series that found his "happy ever after", now is asking Lucas for a favor, He's working on acquiring property for his previous employer at Club Nocturne and needs advice on the purchasing end of the deal.
Lucas may have found his "happy ever after" when he meets Dan. Dan is a stripper who also does managerial duties at Club Nocturne. He has a "thing" for straight men and Lucas is straight, right? maybe? He thinks he is at any rate. Lucas sees Dan's strip show, and he is suddenly wondering why Dan appealed to him so much.... checked "all his boxes". Hadn't ever happened before...Hum-mmm. Must have just been a coincidence...right??? Dan is willing to be patient and not rush or pressure Lucas...to give him a chance to experiment and see what he wants and likes.... the catch here is that experimenting is okay, "as long as neither of them get their hearts broken".
I really liked the "Dan" character. He's open and straight forward with a personality that was simply honest and refreshing. He was willing to help Lucas understand his attraction to men...especially to him... I'm sure that may have had some purely selfish reasons behind it...but Dan never pressured Lucas into anything. I've read many other stories with "maybe straight, maybe not so much" themed stories that have portrayed the "straight" guy "suddenly" waking up one morning and discovering, "Hey I'm not as straight as I have always thought"...but in this story Lucas's realization takes a little time and a lot of thought. Good job, with that, Mr. Alexander! Dan and Lucas are each other's "Yin" and "Yang". They should have never worked... but they did.
This is not a very lengthy book but it's a very, very good book...but then all of Romeo Alexander's books are more than merely just "good". If you like M/M romances that always have happy endings and warm, wonderful characters, you might want to give Romeo Alexander's stories a try.
It was great to head back to Greenford and catch up with the guys from the Greenford series. I loved both Dan and Lucas when I met them in the previous books, so it was great to see them get their HEA in this new series. This was a no angst, bi awakening romance that was really enjoyable. I loved seeing Lucas loosen up and let himself go as he got to know Dan, and I loved Dan's easygoing teasing way he had about him when it came to Lucas. I loved that Lucas wasn't full of angst towards his interest in Dan and that he just went with his gut. The side characters from the previous books were fun to catchup with, especially Mateo, Lucas's brother and his husband Christopher, they added some entertainment. I'm looking forward to more in this series.

I feel like there is a huge part of their story missing. Lukas played such an integral role through out the first series as well as Dan who is a larger than life character and they end up getting such a watered down story.
From the first few pages of Strip Teaser, I fell in love with the book! I mean who would’t fall in love Dan, he just has so much energy and knows how to use it.
Club Nocturne’s owner is trying open a second location and for that he needs a lawyer that will actually stick around. While Rico is off in Vegas doing gods knows what, Dan is left in charge. So when Dan find’s out that his best friend’s brother is lawyer, then enters Lucas.
Oh Lala what a wonderful tale Dan was a stripper but just lately he was doing more managerial work at club Nocturnal. He was starting to think about his future, Dan knew we couldn’t strip forever but for now he needed to find a lawyer who could help him with a purchase of a building that his boss wanted to buy for a club. He tried a few people but they kept letting him down so he turned to his best friend Matteo to see if his brother would help him out. Matteo said he would speak to him about it but reminded Dan that Lucas was straight there for Dan was to leave him alone. Lucas had been working non-stop and it wasn’t until a family lunch when his family reminded him yet again they hadn’t dated and he was alone and they wanted him to find someone that Luca started to think about it. When his brother Matteo asked him to help out Dan he didn’t see a problem with it and promised to give the man a call. He rang Dan and arranged a meeting at the club and this is where things started to change. Lucas can’t believe His body was reacting to Dan in a pair of small panties what was it about this man that turn them on?? He knew he didn’t have a problem with being gay or bisexual but would Dan take it slow with him?? This is a brilliant story I totally like Dan and Lucas there was something very honest about these two. The chemistry was electric, the attraction was lush and the passion was just off the charts these two blew me away I could keep reading about them forever. I really liked that Dan brought out Lucas cheeky side it was just lushhhhhhhhh. what a brilliant read easy five star for me

This is the first book in Club Nocturne but the characters are brought forth from previous books. This book is well written and easy to read. I really enjoyed it. This is the story of Dan and Lucas. Dan is an exotic dancer at Club Nocturne. He is a happy person in general and always seems to brighten up any group that he is with. Realizing the he is soon going to age out of being a dancer; Dan must figure out a plan for the next phase of his life. While being the acting manager, he asks his best friend Mateo to ask his brother the lawyer if he would take the club as a client. They are attempting to expand but have gone through two lawyers with no explanation of why they quit. This is then Lucas is added to the mix. He agrees to speak with them but as reality isn't his area of expertise he promises nothing. Lucas is the exact opposite of his brother Mateo the ex exotic dancer. Lucas is somewhat of a workaholic and has his life rigidly scheduled. When Dan and Lucas first meet, their chemistry is off the charts. Dan flirts naturally. He informs Lucas that he is aware the Lucas is "terminally straight". The two discover that they enjoy each other and a friendship develops. This is their story. This is a fun story that will not disappoint.

I really enjoyed this book! As many of this authors books as I’ve read and I have never tired of his affinity for bi-awakening books! And yet again I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I love the way that the relationship builds between them and there is never really a lot of hesitation or awkwardness between them as Lucas comes to terms with this new development. I love that while Lucas does question what’s happening, he doesn’t shy away from Dan other than when he is trying to figure out how to take things to the next level! I also love that while Dan does push Lucas through some of the steps he never pressures Lucas and makes it very clear that Lucas can say no at any time. I love the pace at which things progress and how Lucas helps to steady Dan while Dan helps to bring Lucas out of his shell some! And the epilogue is the sweetest thing ever and I so wanted more of their relationship. I’m also extremely happy that we get to see more of Sam and Caleb’s, Max and Jacob’s, and Mateo’s and Christopher’s relationship through this book. I’m glad that this book picks up a couple years later and that we get to see how their relationships have continued to grow and develop. I hope that some of that continues with the other books in this series! With that said I cannot wait to read the next book in this series!

Despite being based in a strip club, this is actually a pretty cute and sweet romance read!
Dan, the manager/dancer of Nocturne has been left in charge of hiring new dancers and aslso trying to find another location for another club to branch out for Nocturne. He's in need of a lawyer desperately and his best friend Matteo has an older brother, Lucas who works as a lawyer. However, he doesn't usually cover property law but as a favour to Matteo he offers to help.
To say thanks, Dan offers a night at Nocturne.. Lucas is hesitant as its mostly male dancers and Lucas is straight hut he decides to be brave and heads out.
He sees Dan dance and is confused to find himself seriously aroused by the other man. And not just by his body.
As the two work together to get a property for another bar, they get closer.
But when Matteo asks the question "when are you going to put a label on it" Lucas stalls.
His whole life he's been straight. They'd been winging this as friends-with-benefits..... But his brother is right. He can't string Dan along....
Really sweet story. Loved the club and look forward to read about the other characters.
I love this book! The first in what promises to be an amazing new series, this book is a definite must read! We get to revisit some old friends in this story of Dan and Lucas. Dan works at Nocturne and Lucas is a lawyer. And he just happens to be the brother of Dan’s best friend, Mateo. They will meet when Rico, the owner of the club is considering opening another one in a different town. Mateo will ask Lucas to give Dan a hand with the legal aspect and it will change Dan and Lucas’s lives. Lucas is straight, or so he thought. But seeing Dan dance just once will make him question everything he thought was true about himself. He and Dan will spend more time together and Lucas will find himself learning things about himself that he never knew. It will take Mateo asking him a question that will make him consider just what he wants for his future. And it turns out that what he wants is Dan.

Dan's a stripper everyone likes him but he's nearing the end of a career and needs to make plans for his future. He also sees what his friends have in there relationships and wonders what it would be like to have that.
Lucas the straight laced attorney to his boisterous younger brother Mateo. Both completely different Mateo has always know his type and Lucas thought he knew what he wanted but when he meets Dan he suddenly dosen't know himself very well. What proceeds is two likable nice guys finding each other and learning things about each other. This book had some humor some mild heat levels and know major drama a definite HEA read. It's good but not my favorite book it needed something extra I wanted more time between Dan and Lucas not in a physical way but in a relationship way it was more talked about but not really shown in the story over all this is just my personal opinion and know one elses.
I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
OMG, I had been waiting for this couple since Stripped, and it didn’t disappoint.
I had already grown fond of both Lucas and Dan for their personalities in their roles in the Greenford series books, alucas being Mateo’s brother and Samuel best friend, and Dan being Mateo’s and Max’s friend and one of the main strippers in Nocturne.
And wow maybe I should have expected this being a series about a strip club but omg this is one of the sexiest books I read in a while! The chemistry between them, the stripping scenes, and then there's one scene which is one of my very specific favourite elements in MM and it's This must be only the second or third book I read with this kind of scene and I find this one of the sexiest things ever!
Being a spin off of Greenford, pretty much all side characters were known and were MCs in previous or future books and it's something I love about reading Romeo's series.
Yey! Dan our stripper from Greenford and Lucas the straight brother of his former stripper friend Mateo!! Loved seeing Mateo and Christopher from the Greenfield Series! Lucas is a very serious analytic man and Dan is a live in the moment flirty and fun man! So we definitely have a fabulous Opposites attract going on here! It is full of Flirty and Witty banter that is so amusing with both of these guys as well as the friends and family! They have steamy chemistry but this is still a sweet slow burn kind of a romance because Lucas is one to think Everything through!! Dan loves teasing him for this and well finally Lucas cannot resist Dan anymore! It is told from Both POV's so you get all the feels and how they change and grow together! There is a wonderful Epilogue!! I received an ARC of this book and Highly recommend for those who like a GFY, Opposite's attract romance that is swoony and sweet yet very realistic!
This is a a book with one of my favourite tropes where one of the MCs discover that he's not as straight as he thought. I loved this drama free take on it, sometimes you want all the angst and sometimes you just want something like this with just a lot of feelings and some heat.
Lucas isn't a stranger to gay men, he even has a brother and friends that are in relationships with other men. He just haven't noticed men like that before he meets Dan. Dan is a former co worker to Lucas brother and he still strips at Club Nocturne. And when Lucas is asked to help with his expertise as a lawyer he gets his first look at Dan as a dancer and is quite surprised at his reaction.
I love how Lucas kind of thought things through before acting but never panicked or worried about the things you might think. They just fit together and made each other better no matter what gender they are.
I'm so glad I get to see Danny Boy get his forever after and surprisingly with his best friend brother Lucas. I didn't see that coming. Total opposites attract. I loved Lucas' character in the prior books...good friend even better brother but him falling for the fun size and delightful Danny made this all the more entertaining. Its interesting when a straight man finds himself attracted to the same sex...you wonder if they always had these feelings or is it a special someone that brings out the feelings...who can blame Lucas...Danny is adorable, sweet and charismatic you can't help but fall for him and that is exactly what Lucas did...Nice start to this spinoff series and I can't wait to meet more wonderful characters in this sexy world.

Lucas is an attorney who works too much and hasn't had a relationship in years. His brother, Mateo, asks Lucas for a favor in working on acquiring property for his previous employer at Club Nocturne.
Dan is a stripper who also does managerial duties at Club Nocturne. He has a thing for straight men and Lucas is straight, maybe?
Lucas sees Dan strip at a show and he is suddenly wondering why he turned him on so much.
Now Dan is giving Lucas the chance to experiment and see what he likes.
As long as neither gets their heart broke.
I enjoyed Dan's openess and straight forward personality. He was willing to help Lucas understand his attraction to Dan (im sure its purely selfish reasons) but he didn't pressure Lucas into anything.
I liked the characters and the story was good too.
This is interesting, entertaining and fun. Lucas is a workaholic lawyer who never takes time for himself. When his brother asks him to take on a real estate case, Lucas isn't thrilled, especially knowing that he'd have to visit the strip club his brother used to work at. But after meeting Dan, noticing his butt and feeling a pull towards him, Lucas finally agrees to a night out at the club. And ends up being mesmerized by Dan. After talking with a friend about Dan, Lucas decides to take him up on his offer to experiment with him. Lucas loosens up and enjoys his time with Dan, and Dan loves being around Lucas's calm and steady personally, and he is very amused by Lucas's overthinking. I really enjoyed their journey, and the comments made by the secondary characters. I can't wait to see how the new club does.
Reserved workaholic lawyer Lucas and outgoing, snarky dancer Dan aren't an immediately obvious pairing, not least because Lucas has always thought of himself as straight before. The chemistry between them, both physical and emotional, builds quickly, however, and their story unfolds with some sweetness, some heat, and very little angst. I was definitely rooting for the HEA, and I liked them both, although the drawback of two incredibly mature, well-adjusted people acting like adults and being clear, open, and levelheaded is that while it's excellent for real life, and soothing in fiction, it doesn't always make for the most exciting literary journey. Overall, however, an enjoyable read.

This is a fun, quick read that I enjoyed enough that I will probably be reaching for the next in the series.
We're introduced to Dan, a stripper/club manager when the boss is gone and Lucas, a lawyer who is the brother of Dan's best friend and who has been hired to do some property work for the club owner.
Lucas is supposedly straight, but he's an a$$ man and he's definitely noticed Dan's assets, so they start a friends-with-benefits relationship that ends up turning into more.
I thought the first few chapters were a little dull, but once the relationship started it got more interesting, entertaining and steamy. I liked it enough that I'll probably give the other books in the series a try.
Although this series is Club Nocturne, it is in direct relationship to his other series about Greenford University. Even the same characters appear in this series as they did in the other. So, it was nice to return to the environs of Club Nocturne and Greenford and visit the strippers, the owner, and cast of the other series to give the lonely men their HEA.
This is the story of Dan, the cute, twink dancer that basically headlined the other series who somehow manages to find Lucas, Mateo's "straight" brother and fall madly in love. (What is it about straight guys that gay men find attractive and in these books they always "turn" them. It is kind of barely realistic, but a guess a fantasy that works.)
Fun and sassy, Dan makes Lucas relax and find himself. It's worth the read.
I thought that this was an awesome book. I loved Lucas and Dan together. I really loved the connection, chemistry, comedy, pull and tension between these two. I loved that Dan finally got his own book and him with the "terminally straight" Lucas made this book even better! I thought that this was an amazing start to a new series and I can't wait to see what happens next. I loved that we going to "see" characters from pervious books too! I really enjoyed this book and I would highly recommend it and Mr. Romeo as a must read author!

Dan is one of the strippers at Nocturne, he also runs the place when the owner needs time off, which is often. Lucas is a very straight lawyer and the brother of one of the former strippers. Things start heating up when Lucas does a favor for his brother and the owner, Rico, in getting another location for a new bar. Rico puts Dan in charge of handling the sale and Lucas. Being a natural flirt Dan starts hitting on Lucas and slowly Lucas starts coming around. Jump right in and enjoy the ride with this sometimes funny love story.

Favors can lead to good tidings! Dan, is content stuck in his rut. He is a stripper who occasionally gets to manage the club. Lucas, is a lawyer doing his brother a favor. He is on track with his life and content. Then he meets Dan, an incorrigible flirt at the club. Lucas was handling a legal issue for the club as a favor. Lucas is intrigued by Dan although he's straight. Lucas spices up Dan's 'lawyerly' life. Dan provides the kick, to move Lucas forward. These two compliment each other and add a little jazz. Good start to a series. Nice foundation. Good flow. Excellent character layout. Absolutely enjoyable, well done! I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Dan is a stripper. Lucas is a lawyer. Dan is gay. Lucas is straight. Can two people so different find common ground between them?
Dan works at Nocturne as a stripper, he is also filling in for the owner as management, when they plan to look at another building to possibly expand the business. They need the help of a lawyer, this is where Lucas comes in. It is not love or even lust at first sight. Lucas is obsessed with Dan's assets. This starts them on a 'friends with benefits' situation.
I have not read any of the other Greenford books, and you don't need to have. Although I do plan to read them now.
I really enjoyed this book. The playful interactive between the two main characters is a joy to read. This is a slow burn type of romance partly because Lucas has only had relationships with women before. This is a straight to gay book but really it speaks to the idea that we are all just on the spectrum and when the right person comes along we could be attracted to them no matter what we thought we were before. A very joyful story and I can’t wait to read more books in this series.

This story is fun and sweet, sassy and serious, loaded with intriguing characters, and a storyline that will keep you interested and entertained from start to finish. Dan and Lucas have a slow developing relationship that starts as friends, is filled with firsts, surprises, laughs, intensifying passion, deepening connection, genuine love, and a satisfying HEA. I would definitely recommend this book! Great start to a new series!

Absolutely five stars. Sweet, cute, happy and full of good things. Lucas and Dan aren’t even a couple you’re surprised about, no, they fit perfectly. Their budding relationship was one that you hung on to watching. Their HEA was something you rooted for and celebrated. Their journey was warm and endearing. The entire story made you feel good. From beginning to end it was delightful tagging along and more so as the happiness filled the pages.

Good bones to the story but the slow burn was a bit too slow for me. I also wasn’t impressed with Lucas. Probably because he was too damn uptight and overthinking, but honestly I was mostly underwhelmed with how underwhelmed he seemed about discovering another side to his sexuality. I almost dnf’ed about 70% in but it did get a bit better toward the end. Also as a side note, I really prefer 1st person (dual perspective) narratives, and the blurb on this tricked me into thinking it was one. Some of the best books I’ve read have been 3rd person, but I do with more authors wrote 1st person.
I seriously loved Dan and Lucas!! Dan was a stripper but had been working more in the managerial side of the business. He needs a lawyer to help him so he asks his Matteo if his brother would help him. Lucas is a workaholic! Lucas always thought he was straight until he met Dan! Their chemistry was off the charts! Their connection was sizzling hot! Loved this story, really well written. highly recommend!

I’m increasingly annoyed with authors who insist on breaking up their series into trilogies when they are clearly one long series. This was my first book with this author and I thought I’d be safe starting with the first of a trilogy but this book is littered with couples/characters/cameos from other stories and it is exhausting.
Aside from that, the dialogue is terrible. Each conversation is convoluted and hard to parse.
